Hey guys. Just released my Senseless ROM yesterday and I am new to the ROM development world. I need about 3 - 5 testers for the GSM model and another 3 - 5 for the CDMA model. The ROM will be debloated, deodexed, senseless and rooted. I was able to drop the ROM size from 550mb to 255mb for my Droid Incredible 4G LTE ROM. I want it as light as I can make it!
Tester Requirements:
- Must own the phone
- Able to test and report back quickly.
- Do what I ask
- Communication is key. I want to communicate so we can understand each other and be on the same track
Post here if you are willing to be a tester. State which device you have. (GSM or CDMA)

I have had problems with different kernels other than stock - have not debugged enough to pinpoint the problem. Depending on how the kernel behaves, I will either flash or just boot with new kernel to test.
Please count me in if I still qualify.
I own a PrimoC (CDMA). I'd be willing.

Oops -sorry - deleted
I looked through your posts and couldn't find your ROM, just the toolkit (is it included in that?). Were you able to replace all the Sense skinned apps (phone, camera, settings, etc.) with the vanilla ICS versions? I've got a CDMA One V and would be willing to test if I get it installed.

Ok here is a little guide on how to downgrade your tmobile G2 firmwhere and Radio version. Its been tested and varified to work
This will wipe your phone
Although tested and really shouldn’t cause any damage I accept no responsibility for any damage caused by this. By doing this you are accepting all responsibility
What you will need
HeX editor
G2 Temp Rooted
ADB set up and working
And this ROM || [MIRROR]
1) Download ROM and rename to PC10IMG.zip
2) Place on root of SD card //make shure to unmount usb storage after//
3) open up "ADB shell" and type SU to get # symbol
4) run
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 of=/sdcard/misc.img
Click to collapse
5) copy misc.img from the root of the sdcard to your computer //Copy So as to preserv a backup of misc.img on the SD card//
6) open the misc.img in the HeX editor
7) now edit the version line from somthing like
1.22.531.8
Click to collapse
This will be whatever the version you are on currently
to
1.19.531.1
Click to collapse
This can/will be whatever the version of the rom you are trying to downgrade too
8) now save as miscnew.img
Here is what your miscnew.img should look like in HeX editor

12) power off phone
11) boot into hboot by holding down vol-dwn + power
13) the phone should then scan the .zip file and ask to flash
14) after flash you will be downgraded SW and Radio
To make this future proof just add the vesion that you want to downgrade too where we are putting "1.19.531.1".
This Can't in any way be used to gain permanant root
I was the guinea pig .
We should attempt something similar to root the device (unless I read it wrong and now I sound like a noob)

This in no way will help to perma root. It will alow you to downgrade if htc ads more security or fix an exploit in the future.

Saids data is to large when I try to load a signed Desire Z img.
This is so any exploits found with the older radio or ROM, can be used. So the OTA is "safe" essentially.

Hmmm, most likely we could since the process would stay the same. From what I've been reading, and listening, the misc partition has to be read/writable. Which means this will still work.
Indeed, if this could be used to flash an early test build that didn't have the copy-protection, you'd be off to the races...

right now...no. there is only one developer who made cwm availible for out device and that person is busy making a well known rom; cyanogenmod9. there might be in the future but...probably not. depends. who knows. unless the devs of cwm make an official version of cwm for our device then we might get a better cwm touch then a replica from a random dev.

For One V no S-OFF exploit has been made till now, so if you haven't got one s-off by factory default phone (which is quite unlikeley) you cannot do that.

When you go to "add rom" make sure you choose "Ubuntu Touch" as the ROM type. When you press next it'll prompt you for the 2 files.
You don't install them separately.
