HI DEVELOPERS,
I want to resize data and system partition. But, I don't know how it's done.
Waiting for your help. Thank you in advance.

You can't, unless you can edit the cid to 11111111. It can be found in the following file:
/system/dev/mmcblk0p7

Dude we know how to Soff but nobody could do it because it's write protected.. So even if you find it, unless you are an hacker or something you can't modify it

For One V no S-OFF exploit has been made till now, so if you haven't got one s-off by factory default phone (which is quite unlikeley) you cannot do that.

Dammit my bad, I meant to say /dev/block/mmcblk0p7
When you open it using a text viewer you'll see your cid. If you can edit that you could easily become s off

I want to try, but still hesitant. this is a bit like the work of a Professional.
this file is also empty
I changed the contents of the file as you said. but nothing did not help. is still S-ON

Wtf you could change it?? Type this command fastboot getvar cid and tell me, if your original cid comes up then everything is normal. But if 11111111 comes up then you extremely lucky.!
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
my one v cid is that
See, its write protected... you can't so easily edit those files... if you open mmcblk0p7 again you'll see that it'll be now the same as before.

Run ruu of your chioce http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Bravo
The one to use if you desire isn't branded is:
http://shipped-roms.com/download.ph...9.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed.exe
Install HTC Sync on your computer (you don't need to run it). Enable USB debugging. Connect the desire with usb (charge only) and run the ruu-file.

My Incredible 2 is rooted, S-Off and running the stock ROM. If I use the HTC Unlocker will I lose or gain anything? I would like to get official OTA updates (which I do not accept now in fear of losing Root) rather than flash them from developers. Will Wireless Tether be affected if I use the HTC unlocker? Will programs like Superuser and Busybox and other Root-dependent programs still work? Will I need to re-Root?
Thanks.

That would be the case, as when you unlock it, it says **unlocked** at the top. Once relocked, it will say **relocked** showing it was unlocked before.

HTC unlock doesn't give you s-off so no I don't think there would be any benefit. I also read that people are having trouble installing custom roms.

Hello Friends, I know when I'm in trouble here at XDA some kind person will sort it out. well firstly I unlocked my HTC One X in India from HTC dev without any problem and then rooted my phone through Super SU Binaries. See this link
http://onexroot.com/one-x-root/how-to-unlock-bootloader-and-root-att-htc-one-xhtc-one-xl/
But now I need to install patch to have 2 way recording. For this firstly I flashed clockworkmod recovery through fastboot (pics included)

But now when I try to open recovery my phone hangs at startup screen and nothing happens. I think its due to conflict between SU and clockworkmod or maybe something else. Plz if some take a humble pain and try to solve this issue.
I'm from India and my phone details are as follows:-

i think it has something to do with not enough space error on my phone despite there being heaps.. will try and wipe a bit and see if that works but cheers for the heads up on root explorer it actually gave me a proper error.

Quite simply, this is the font that is in the "quietly brilliant" handwriting underneath the HTC logo. They actually went through the effort to do numbers and punctuation marks in this as well, so this is a decent font. Use it for your various projects and things.

or how can i disable it and return to normal?
