Have you tried to replace this with the original in system/app ?

W8 uploading a flashable zip or else noobs will get stuck

Should of added the actual beats files and made a zip, bus it's cool i just don't use stock player

u need to be on exact base of rom as the sgs rom ofvthem

this only gonna work with sg2v5 then? whats the point then cus they have a beats edition rom with this player.
having this player work on any galaxy ace rom should be the achievement here.

If u install manually it root it works!!apps can be used from any baseband to anyone

i think you just need to flash it via CWM but im not sure because it got meta.inif file but theres not recovery.img

hi....check with my device in bionic cow2 firmware. inside there is already include as what you have mention.

There is no /system/usr/idc folder in the ROM I'm using, and I think there isn't one in any other ROM too, since they are all based on the same Android version.
To make this have an effect, we need to find the equivalent file in our ROM and change it accordingly.

What exactly does this mod do?

Not sure if it does anything....need someone to explain what it does
flashed it to stock ROM, but don't experience any difference, has not caused any trouble either!!!

Basically it loads some module that enhancing the response when you touch your touchscreen.

[MOD][CWM][SCRIPT]Reodex your ROM and be faster

This CWM script will reodex any Samsung stock-based ROM - any custom ROM that is.
Additionally, with BOOTCLASSPATH edit in dexo.sh it can work on any ROM and phone.
Reodexing gives some people perceivable speed up. And it frees data partition from system dalvik cache. So dalvik-cache rebuild is also accelerated.
I ran it with stock kernel (root injected). And had problems with running it on any custom kernel.

I'm not sure why you'd need deodex on the fly.
Wanam has a good guide on deodexing stock ROMs.
Odexing is on the other hand is relatively new and fancy way of speeding up.

Mount part of the script updated. Now system is properly mounted.
On a side note - CM9 with Theme Manager and applied themes reverts odexing back. Figures. Pick your poison - odexing or theming.

Will this work with miui??

Update bootclasspath and try.
If there is Theme Manager - then odexing won't work.

Backup. Update bootclasspath and try. It should work on any stock based ROM.

ive tried reodexing.. how will i know if im successful?
i checked out the /system/app/ - still no *.odex files?
i already changed the $BOOTCLASSPATH
did i miss something out?

AOSP BROWSER IS HERE
installation instructions
1-download the zip file and flash through recovery
2- go to settings/applications/all/browser and wipe data or you will allways get forceclose

Ofcourse AOSP browser allways supports flash
Make a backup before flash and only flash it if you like the aosp browser style

that is not needed just sync now through google account as when you clear browser's data the bokmarks ,history etc are wiped

Yes you can but be aware it will remove stock htc browser

I followed your steps and im still getting force close when I opened the browser im running insertcoin 3.09-9 on android 4.2.2

tried that one yesterday and same thing force close

I do like the AOSP browser more than any other browser! The problem I found with installing it on our device is that you have to sign back in to Google every time you exit and go back to use it next time! Has any one else suffered this and is there a way round it?

Yes It's being worked on and will come around later today

ok I'd like feedback ASAP.
This is uncharted territory for me and I'm not sure how this ROM handles G-apps so I did not include them, my best guess is flash them sep like with any other ROM beside MIUI.
Please bear in mind this is an Alpha and I went way outside of my release cycle to bring it to the S4 so please be constructive with feedback

unusual, let me look into this real quick.

I'm an idiot, the status 7 is because the ROM is trying to call LBESEC and shelld which do not exist in it; uploading a revised version now.
for folks who have the old .zip remove the LBESEC and shelld line in updater-script if you dont want to deal with a redownload

now it's workingggg awesome rom

Posted a fixed version for people who haven't DL'd yet/don't want to fk with editing
