Hey guys, I put out my first app into the android market independently and just thought I'd pimp it here. It's a 37 signals campfire client that's made specifically for the galaxy nexus. It's super ice cream sandwichy and is buttery smooth to use. I couldn't find a campfire client on android that was really good looking so I made my own. Check it out.

No idea what campfire is....but the app looks great. Very ICS like

This isn't a campfire. I, for one, love campfires.
Seems good but I just stopped using campfire lol. Maybe make a basecamp app?

Looks like a chat room, $5 though.... I think I'll pass if it's just a chat room.
And you should add a black version, consumes less power on AMOLED displays.

I think $5 is fair. For a really good quality app, it'll cost some money. I put a ton of time into making this thing both look good and function super well.
Aesthetically you did a nice job, and as a graphic artist I think 4.99 for hardwork and a nice app is more than reasonable.
The Ui is perfect great Work!!
I love the ics style
As the title states lets see what is important to us. You can only pick one thing, that's the point. I know we kinda like the whole package but that's too easy.
Edit:
If the Soft Nav Buttons are your thing pick ICS Flagship.

Maybe we could put that under ICS Flagship, can't seem to edit the poll.
There's a bunch. Love the shape. Love the screen, faults and all. But for me, it's a Nexus and the flagship for the OS that puts Android--in my opinion--over the top.
GNex looks sexy
4.65 in super amoled plus HD god I just love the name of it...
My fav. Feature is ics itself. So sexy and smooth

The resolution by far.
Looking at any other phone looks silly in-comparison for the sheer lack-luster resolution alone.
being able to screen grab without needing to root the device. I guess that would be flagship ICS right?
Being able to make peoples jaw drop at seven eleven. Love NFC+google wallet.

Sounds great to me. ICS is pretty awesome, can't wait till it gets spread around some more so the rest of world can see how great Android can be.

The awesome feature of the keyboard disappearing in the middle of typing a text lol. Only kidding, I think the best feature is the looks, and the instant pics

The camera? Me thinks the camera on the SGN is very laggy and hard to use. I've have two SGNs and on both the camera makes is a classic "blurrycam."
I think my Blackberry Bold had a better camera.

Check out the Pics thread a couple slots down. People can take some amazing pictures with this camera if you know what you are doing.
It was a touch choice, but I picked ICS Flagship. I chose the Nexus because I liked that while my phone will fall behind hardware wise in a few months, the software will always stay current. After the T-Mobile/Vibrant fiasco, this was really important.
The screen is a very close second. I love AMOLED and the size of the screen. Also like the warm color tone. Reading with the Kindle app and in night mode is really easy on the eyes.

It isn't a 'plus' display. It's an HD Super AMOLED. 'Plus' displays have an RGB matrix, while our phone has a PenTile matrix.
That being said, the screen is probably my favorite feature. The sheer resolution is amazing.
OLED on the S2 is awesome but the because its "+" the blue materials decay almost 5x faster, meaning color balance issues and burn-in. But wut about a pure black theme with yellow instead of white for letters(or just green, but only 1 sub pixel is twice as grainy as 2)and red for dividing lines? May not sound pretty, but I would appreciate it for my galaxy s, and used S2 owners would appreciate it the most by improving the screen longevity on one of the sexiest phones released.

+1 to your request.. I was using a sense 4.0 inspired theme, very bright colors.. The other day I just checked the phone in Test Mode, to my horror the status bar had burnt in.!!
I checked my warranty, had 27 days remaining so got the display unit replaced.. I dont want this one to go bad in 11 months..
Hence, I request too..!!!

Even tho i agree with your request and +1 for it, you should try screen adjuster from the market.
Ofc it doesn't save your screen colours but definately makes it look as it should with the right settings.

Today I returned my gray note 2 for a white note 2. All I can say is the quality is much better. It doesn't creak at all and it's very solid and much tighter. Feels like a completely different model phone. I've read the same thing other places too. So if you're about to get the note 2 I advise you to get the marble white. Even my benchmarks are much higher with this one. Both at&t.

I'm not a fan of white phones. I love the brushed aluminum look the titanium gray has. And mine doesn't make any noises and is plenty solid.
I have the titanium grey and its solid. No creaking, nothing that would even suggest inferior build quality. Plus gets a quadrant benchmark of over 6000 stock, i don't see how the white would do better considering the hardware is exactly the same.

I concur!!
I saw no difference in build quality between the two colors when I compared them. I went with titanium because frankly the white looks cheaper to me. With this being such a large device I didn't want it be be more of a bright beacon either.
As for the performance of your white being better? Post your benchmarks to prove it, because I think that claim has no merit.

This. Although benchmarks don't matter, I don't think my titanium gray suffers, lol. And this is without forcing it to run at 1.8. Even stock though I was 6500+

If one scores slightly better than the other, it's because not all chips are created equal. Every single chip is gonna handle things differently.
Yes, your experience means all white phones are higher quality to all gray phone. Makes perfect sense.
I have the white one and it looks great.

Is this a joke or is the op serious?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
The white one is bland, ugly, and most of all... looks cheap as hell. I've seen these same sentiments stated many-a-time on different reviews of the Note II. I owned the ceramic white original Note, and I thought it was gorgeous. Much better looking than the black. But for the Note II, the positions are reversed. The white is just dull but the titanium gray is pure sex. It has this sophisticated, premium look to it.
BTW, this is probably one of the most asinine threads I've ever read on XDA. For anyone to seriously suggest the quality of a phone is based on what COLOR it is, is as misguided and stupid as a person who thinks that each different color M&M has a different taste, despite the fact they ALL have the same taste. Did a 12-year-old iPhone tween write this claptrap??
My titanium does not creak and i preffer the look of the dark titanium bezel than a regular chrome. I think chrome is out of style and look cheap on a phone.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
It doesn't look cheap or bland at all. I should know, I owned both.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
And I get 6200 score on quadrant. Thing is so inaccurate. Lol @ people claiming to get 7000 score stock note 2.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I also couldn't stand the gray one bcuz it shows dust and fingerprints so badly. The white doesn't show the dust at all
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Btw, kiddo, the white and gray ones are made by different factories or whatever you want to call it. I read the gray ones get made in Korea or some ****.

I saw nobody claim over 7k on stock. I claimed it in it's current state, but out of the box mine did a hair over 6400. I guess that now makes the titanium superior.

There is too much just to state one. Here is my list that I generalized.

Not sure about you guys, but I haven't seen much advertisement for this device (in Hawaii) which tells me that there won't be too many people with it (in Hawaii). Kinda makes me feel special.

Good battery (according to my usage, I had to change battery twice and I had to change the battery once).
More natural white and other color.
Smooth operation (no shutter when watching TV through HD Homerun).
Removable battery (do you see the first line?)
Ample 32GB internal storage.

I love the screen. It makes customizing it more fun than on any other phone I've had. I also love how smooth the transitions and animations are, and how fast it is. It's a beautiful phone that you appreciate more, the more you play with it.

So far I love everything about the Note 3 (even Touchwiz) but hands down the screen is the best part about this phone. I walked into T-Mobile today and the screen is so vibrant it made every other phone in the store look like garbage.
Everything. Some things amaze me, like the charging time. Unreal how quick it charges.
sgh-TWEAKED-889©
Everything! And now to add to the list of awesomeness that is the Note 3, I just found out the it's ANT+ compatible. I just tested this successfully by pairing it with a Garmin ANT+ heart rate monitor!

Eeeeeverything. Seriously. This phone is nothing short of amazing.
Or maybe it's because I was in purgatory with an HTC Sensation for 2+ years. The Sensation was so bad, I almost broke down and upgraded to an SGS4 when my contract was up. But I held out for three more months knowing the GN3 would come "soon". Longest three months ever.
But if I had to highlight something great about the GN3, it would be the battery life, performance and screen. Yea ok, those are three things but you really can't just pick one good thing to say about this phone.
The screen for sure. I don't have my Note 3 yet (ordered on Negri Electronics last night) but from playing with it in store that screen outshined my Note 1 screen by a ton, much better color and white balance while having impossibly small pixels. That screen alone seems worth the upgrade.

The screen, obviously, and the IR port. I have been missing having an IR port since my treo days, it's about bloody time that technology made a comeback.
