Hi, i used to use linux installer on my phone which works with debian stable (block device) later i installed adbwireless then every program which uses root access even superuser, setcpu... Stopped working, when opening one of these apps, a black screen comes up then it laggs the touch screen. Su does not respond anymore, i can't fix it.

Solved it, adbwireless stopped working for gio after 2.3.6 update. It was the app that caused su not to work anymore. I just turned off the phone then took out the sdcard and turned on the phone and inserted back the sdcard.

Is safe to delete rommanager from cm7?? we don't really use it, since it does not work with our current (modded) version of clockworkmod recovery...
Don't have your device, but avid CM user and Yes, you can delete RM if you don't use it. It's just an app. Not system app or anything.

However it does work with 2nt init for some time already. But if you don't use it, just remove if you want.

i use v .587 with root and recovery.
It is the recovery that is causing the prob.

Use the latest version of Xparts from play store...

Once you have updated the app to xparts, move the recovery.tar from the xparts folder found on your sd card to the system/bin folder setting the correct permission like this

use superoneclick, btw, cm10 comes pre-rooted I guess?! maybe theres something corrupt..
you should have installed CWM after you rooted already.

i got same problem.. did you solved it?
It should be already rooted... BTW!?
Ηι, someone was able to do it and how?
I have the same problem, actually this is the 2nd time.
I installed clockwork recovery, flashed cm9, it wasn't rooted.. Tinkered around and it worked. I remember it being fairly simple and therefore I took little notice of what I did.
After screwing my phone up I flashed again.. Now no su access, no root access.. And i cant seem to surpass it. Clockwork works fine, and superoneclick does not
Flashed rom and su patch from maclaw..
If anyone could shed light id be very grateful.

If I remember correctly, cm9 had an option to enable disable root access for apps and adb. Have you checked if you have the right options enabled in the settings ?

Yeah, I've tried root apps only and root apps + adb
Also tried disabling root and applying su patch.. Nothing! It sucks cos I hate bloatware. Cm10 was rooted using the dev options in settings, but the rom was too unstable for me

Try following these steps. Might work
1. Flash Stock ROM back.
2. Root the phone.
3. Install Clockwork MOD
4. Then install CM9 RC2 by maclaw
5. After that, install the patch through CWM
These steps worked for me.
It worked for me! Yaay su permission has never felt better
Thank you!

had the same problem with File Manager (CM File Manager). it was not prompting for root access, said it could not get root permission so would switch to safe mode, then crashes.
wiping superuser cache did not change anything.
the procedure from this post worked for me, but even though it runs now, it does not allow the root access mode to be checked in settings.
i have been using Ghost Commander since GB, and it has root access no problems
Hey so I recently installed the euroskank cm10 rom from Rom manager. It works, but the keyboard on it stops working, so u can't do anything. Please help! Thanks
Did you fix permissions or try installing another keyboard?
I can't install another keyboard because you have to set up your Google account to use the market, and I can't use the keyboard.

I unrooted my phone, rerooted it, then tried the same rom again, still had the same problem. Then I imported an apk into my phone to install another keyboard, then that one didn't work. So I guess I shouldn't use that rom.
