Should I buy the One V?

Hello HTC One V users! I have a few questions to ask and I would really appreciate it if you answered!
1) Should I get the HTC One V or should I not? (Please Include Why)
2) What are the Pros and Cons (Good and Bad Points) of this phone?
3) Is the peformance ok or is it laggy? What games can you play on it?
4) Is the battery life bad? Can it get through a full days usage?

My current phone is the Xperia X8, which is not the best phone.

Im too with this. Currently i have a desire hd which is similiar in hardware to the one v. But i need more battery and i want to try out a smaller screen. Want to hear some opinions too. Cheers

You cannot get more than 3 days on Android no matter what phone you have. It really depends on how you use your phone, how large the battery is (One V has 1500 mAh - which is a standard battery).
You can even play Temple run without suttering or lag on the One V. I have only pros for this little phone. It is the best phone at its price range and don't forget that cpu is underclocked at 1ghz (it should be 1.4). That's how Htc decided to make the cpu clock. Installing kernel Titanium (when the posibility of overclocking will permit) will give you free hands to overclock the cpu up to 2ghz. So 2ghz with 512mb ram i think it sounds good enough to run smooth even the greatest memory hog app.
At this price range the only good phone worth looking at is Galaxy S Plus, or Evo 3d. I don't like the casing of Galaxy S Plus and the display is crappier than on One V. And Evo 3D is very big, which I don't like.
The best idea is to go to a showroom and see One V live.

so i got a desire hd now, and its a really good phone. Even the hardware is particualary better than one v. I got bored of my desire hd and the one v looks very good(my friend has a legend and i think it is not a bad phone). The thing is i only want to switching for the display, battery and the design. Is this worth?

Find on youtube "Teste RD - HTC One V: Software" .. its full review of (hardware mutli etc) HTC ONE V ... over 20+ downloaded app... scrolling are smooth, games working.. i think is the best review on youtube so check all parts and make your own decision

Thanks for all the replies. But I think i'm going to get the Galaxy S2 instead Cause where i live (HK) it's all discount now unlocked and it's a good deal! So yep thanks for the answers anyways! I might get a HTC later on but for now, Samsung

How come I can't find any threads at all about the new LG Motion 4G.
It has a Dual core 1.2GHz processor! No one has mentioned it at all....unless my searching skills are a bit choppy

[Q] S4 Rom port to S3?

Since the S4 already has a rom leak, just wondering if the S4 rom is even compatible with theh S3 given the different processor, camera and so on. I have given up on ATT releasing anything further for the S3.

Its likely we will see something eventually, just not the same day as the leak drops. Be patient

Most definately not comptabile out of the box, but an eventual port is more than likely just a matter of time.
As for updates to the S3 from Samsung/AT&T/Bell/Telus/Rogers, I'd expect at least a 4.2.x TW ROM and less likely but still possible, a 5.x TW ROM as well.
It all depends on the required min specs of Android 5.x. But, since the advent of Android, RAM has always been the biggest caveat with respect to upgrade paths. With all the latest flagship phones still coming out with 2Gb or RAM, expect our phones to be able to easily run Android 5.x.
Unfortunately, it all comes down to Samsung and the carriers to decide if we're worthy of an upgrade.

Apparently S3 is getting 5.x
International variants only however.. there's posts all over the place with news links/sources..

Whats so special about ogp???? Nothing....
Software is poor on lg.....updates are poor....if its about lcd then htc is way to go....if not then samsung....
Every phone nowadays has 4 cores and 2gb ram....what makes them good is software....
So do you think ogp can beat nexus4 ????
Be happy with your benchmarks ....
From a regular distance 1080p and 720p are the same
And btw....if you think samsung does not releases source code.....then first look at your android development forum and then talk....ogp does not even have 5 good roms and look at note 2 forum ...overloaded with roms and kernels and other awsomeness...

Htc 10 + 230euro vs Google Pixel

Hi,
Realise Pixel reviews are not out yet but based on your user experience with the HTC 10 - is it worth it + 230euro over a 128GB Pixel? Camera, offline storage and good software support is the important bits for me. Coming from an M7 which is now constantly restarting and the camera isn't cutting the mustard nowadays.
