So I got my TPU fusion case from ambitronic.com today and let me say, the case is beautiful. Consider the amazing price and it's an unbeatable deal. With a 10% coupon code I found and adding a screen protector it was just under $7.00 shipped. I ordered it in the evening hours, it shipped the next day, and arrived 3 days later from California to Missouri, not bad at all. Unfortunately the screen protector I ordered didn't include the soft card and one of the stickers on the screen protector got stuck to it and left behind residue. Without the soft card I was unable to install it correctly and ended up tossing it in the trash, but at .95 cents I can't really complain, but wish I could have used it.
i have one too & it's a good case for the price...lame that it doesn't come with the card, good to know. for 95 cents, you really can't complain. you can always use a credit card or driver's license... (i'm in NY & they're pretty flexible...), for future reference.
Ordering one online now, hope that it's as good as everyone says it is!
I tried a debit card but it didn't really make a difference with the adhesive stuck on it, cause by the time I got that off, it was pretty much useless. The site says it comes with a soft card, so I assume most of them do, I just didn't have one in my package. Still loving the case tho. To hit the power button takes a little getting use to as you have to press it a little harder than normal with the case on, but it doesn't bug me that much after a couple days use.

give the case some time to wear in, about a week or so. the buttons will get softer to press over time. Ive had my case for about 6 months now and its perfect
Good to know about the buttons getting softer. Just got an email from Ambitronic this morning, I sent a link to this thread to them, they apologized for taking a few days to get back to me, blaming the rush of Touchpad accessories, which I completely understand, and offered to either refund the .95 or send me another screen protector, so the only down side I had they are taking care of. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend anyone to order from them, I know I will in the future.

Yes, their customer service is pretty stellar. I've never had a problem with them before.
I just ordered tons of stuff from them. Great prices great stock. Live the fusion cases,
Just a funny factor. The fusion case does not really work work the chargers they sell.. Had to trim the case for the chargers to fit lmao.. That's the only negative thing I've found so far...

This case is hands down the best bang for your buck case I have ever bought for any of my phones. I got it for about $5 on eBay, and its quality and performance is on par with $30 cases I've bought in the past. As for screen protectors, I've always bought from an eBay seller, XtremeGUARD. If anyone's interested, here's a link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/XtremeGUARD-HTC-My-Touch-4G-Premium-Screen-Protector-/230605503209?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item35b128bae9
Best screen protector I've ever used. Easy to put on, crystal clear, and extremely durable. It uses a soap and water mix as an adhesive, so it's nearly impossible to put it on incorrectly.
this case is pretty awesome gotta say. when i saw it i was like "man i want this case" xD, looked so good. But yeah the only charger that really fits in is the one i got when i first had the phone, can't use any others really because they'll fit just enough to plug in but its' easy to dislodge the charger from the plug, but oh well not that big a deal to me
that screen protecter i might look into cuz i kinda messed up with the one i have now, it's placed on correctly now, but i didn't get it that great the first time so it's kinda dusty but you barely notice it unless the screen's off.

It's practically impossible to mess up the XtremeGuard protector. Since you cover the protector in the soap/water mix, it slides around on the surface of the screen, making it easy to align perfectly or redo if some dust gets on the screen. Once you're satisfied, just let it sit a little before you squeegee out the water bubbles, then let it sit and dry into place.

Looking good, Casemate make good products. I had their Barely There case on my DHD
Yo,
I had one of these bad boys for my Incredible S so ordered one a few days back for the One X.
I've just realised something. With this case on, you lose the connectivity of the rear docking port (little metal dots) or I presume you do anyway.
E.G you wouldn't be able to use this dock I don't think
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/htc-cr-s650-desktop-cradle-with-speakers-for-htc-one-x-p34381.htm
Can anybody clarify?
You can't use a dock with any case, so no point having holes
As HTC whore says you cant use any case with a docking station you would just remove the case to use the dock then put it back on when going out with your phone
I have this case, so hard to take it off!
Picked one up from the Blackpool store this morning, will be taking it back for a refund tomorrow. Daren't even fit it, it's that tight a fit. If it's tight to get on I doubt I'll get it off. The phone is pretty slim and I have visions of snapping it !!
It's not hard to take off at all, I've put mine on and off a few times
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Indeed, the case isn't hard to take on and off. If anything I had to take it on and off only to line up the grooves for the speaker hole and made sure the edges weren't squished down. The case is nice but only drawback is how much lint/dust it attracts on the rubber/silicon part.
I agree only drawback is the dust etc om the rubber section but for the protection it offers I am happy

That's a very generalised statement, and you come accross pretty arrogant if I'm honest ........ If thats true why do the official HTC cases have a cut out for the Pogo port ?
Also, Mine isn't straight on the bottom edge. Is anybody elses like this?
The hard plastic part is almost wavey on the bottom, this stops the soft rubber sitting properly - Got pictures if needs be

I have emailed you guys but I bought the case from Amazon so not sure where I stand there.
I have also noticed - the "Lock/Unlock" rubber on the inner case does not 100% line up with the actuall button on my phone. I would say its around 3-4mm over to the left, It still covers around half the button so it does press but it's not as responsive as it should be and I am always pressing my button on one side (Could eventually cause a problem)
I am begining to think my case may be a clone - Another thing I have notice is the hard plastic part is nowhere near as grippy as my last case mate case. It's kinda slippy.
Build quality on my last case mate case was amazing - this one is below average , at best.
I tried to get it on video - in the loo at work, sorry about that haha.
I had to use front camera and a mirror as I don't have another camera on me atm
I marked the CaseMate button A and the phone button B
It's quite hard to see but you can make it out

The power button on the tough case is misaligned and indeed the hard case is pretty slippery. I hope case-mate corrects these issues.
I got my neo hybrid lumi case in the mail today ( I go the blue and grey) and wanted to do a quick review.
First off all let me say, that so far I haven't had any of the problems with the buttons some people have been talking about. The volume rocker is a bit sensitive, but I haven't had any problem with it changing on it's own. Also simply holding firm on the sides won't push my buttons either, I squeezed all around the edges and didn't have any problems.
This case looks awesome it is very sleek and doesn't add much bulk to the phone. The holes for ports are all cut smoothly and adequately. The port on the camera is the very slightest bit uneven but nothing anyone would probably notice unless they were really looking and definitely not anything that will effect the use of the camera or protection.
The TPU portion of this case is slightly different than I was expecting. It is a bit harder and less flexible than I expected. My biggest problem with the case is that the TPU is very slick. It offers very little if nothing at all in the way of grip.
As far as protection goes, I haven't dropped my case or done anything extreme, but the case seems to offer very decent protection especially considering how sleek it is. The back and corners are well protected and feel pretty confident that if I did drop it I wouldn't have any scratches or major damage on my phone. There is a nice lip around the front screen to give a buffer if it were to be set down on it's face. The case fits snug and I don' think would fall off if dropped.
Overall I am very happy with this case, I was hoping for a bit more grip, but I really can't complain considering how good it looks and the protection I'm getting
I had one of these for my iPhone 4 and the plastic shell snapped when I was taking it off.
How dangerous/sturdy is it on the GS3 version?

It is fairly rigid, but I have taken mine on and off a couple times and no problems so far. I have been leaving the hard plastic attached to the tpu part which doesn't require it to bend much though

Awesome. Went on perfect. The slightest bit of tack compared to glass. Barely visible at all
My screen protector doesn't fit in the least. It covers part of the front facing camera and yet there is ample space at the right of the home button. If you can imagine that, you'll understand just how off mine is. It goes on well but my cut outs are quite off.
I also have the button issues. I just got mine today. Throwing an email to them tonight.

I got this case a few days ago and immediatley noticed the volume button sensitivity issue as soon as I installed it. The issue I experianced is that any time I put any pressure anywhere near the volume rocker, it would depress the button and raise/lower the volume. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but no matter what I did the issue remained. Emailed SPG and they requested photos and or video of the problem. They also wanted to know which S3 varinat I had. Hopefully I just got a bad one because I think it is a nice case otherwise.

Yup that's exactly what happened to me. I was the one who 1st posted the issue and now after a couple of days I got use to the sesnsativity of the buttons and where not to squeeze but I will be contacting them I think that's way to much for me to let slide for such a high quality case. I still slip at times and it's just annoying have to hit the back button every time you press the power button for to long and getting the shut off option when you are in the middle of something.
why dont you guys remove the case and push outward on the inside of the volume rocked portion to stretch it out a little bit.
use something small to get right in there
yeah i have the same color!! I thought I broke the case cuz it got dissembled. Have no problem with it so far.

I've had mine for about two weeks now and haven't had too many issues with the volume sensitivity. Occasionally it happens after I've taken the case off and put it back on but then I just adjust the case and it doesn't happen anymore. I can squeeze both sides near the rocker and power button and they will not activate and when changing the volume the controls don't stick.
I did think the case was going to be a little thicker than it is and I doubt the plastic frame adds much more protection. This is one reason I'm debating buying another case with a little more protection (commuter/aegis/active type case).
I do like the looks of the case, which is one of the reasons I bought one instead of sticking with the Diztronic cases I have which are also pretty good.
So I received this case today (I live in Australia, postage takes forever). I have issues with the sensitivity of the buttons as they often stick. I've emailed Spigen about what they will do but I'll probably just take a razor or something to the inside buttons and wear them down a little.
On a positive note though, the packaging is amazing and the case feels like it is sturdier than my cheap tpu case from Ebay. It also looks great.
For those who have or may be looking to purchase the Spigen Slim Armor Case, mine came with a faulty power button which caused my N5 to do nothing but reboot. Spigeon response, then my original email...
(Please disregard my ramblings about the Hybrid case, its great and on my N5 right now)

Placed my order with Amazon (order ID 114-3434852-3204213) about a week ago and received the Ultra Hybrid and Slim Armor cases for my new Nexus 5 just moments ago. Upon removing the Ultra Hybrid from the packaging, I discovered that the clear plastic back already has three scratches on the inside of the case, two running about half the length, where the third runs almost the entire length of the plastic back panel. The Slim Armor also is faulty - the Nexus 5 does nothing but reboot with it on. By looking at the case, it seems that the power button is too tight and causing constant reboots (http://youtu.be/TgOzTCT9XQw).
EDIT: After reading more about your cases, I removed the plastic covers on the Ultra Hybrid. Recommend placing a piece of tape or info that it is there. As for the Slim Armor, it appears this is a known issue with the power button that customers are waiting on for a fix.
Please advise how to proceed

By the way, welcome to XDA. I see this was important enough to you to join the forums. Spigen is driving me crazy.
I just received my Slim Armor yesterday, my power button was fine but the back was raised at the bottom where the colored part hit the gray rubbery part. It seemed warped or something. Also I thought the case felt very strange with the odd sharp angles on the sides and back. I am returning mine.

I think that their CSR might be more than slightly retarded.
Mine had the same power button issue. Spigen sent me the same email and i've been waiting since last week for it to ship out. Since i was getting a new tpu i figured i should see if i could fix the issue on mine and it actually was a pretty easy fix. I've got one of those horribly useless pedipaws (http://www.amazon.com/PediPaws-3269-6-Pet-Nail-Trimmer/dp/B001FMHZSC) devices that scares the crap out of my dogs. I pulled the gaurd off and used it to file down the piece of plastic/rubber on the inside that actually contacts the power button. I didnt have to remove much material at all. Doing that completely fixed the issue. It responds exactly like the volume buttons, so there's a satisfying click when pressed.

Back in college I worked in CS, so I want to sympathize with them but on the other hands when I'm paying for a product and it's defective and I've reached out a few times, then its on the company to get back to me - regardless of the influx of correspondences. They need to refocus resources (in this case, staff) to handle these emails asap. I hope I'm not the only one who feels that way

I was focused on their CS. But it seems the person who made the molds is probably also mildly retarded. And their QC department needs to get fired.
At this point, they could always hire a temp with decent references to email us. And hire some other temps to pack the boxes. They need to make this right and I don't want a lousy free screen protector or wasting my time.
I received my slim armor case last sat, the power button wont work so I filed a refund request through amazon uk straight away. I also ordered Ultra Hybrid version soon after.
they emailed back asked if I'd like to have the TPU part replaced or simply a refund. I replied with a refund confirmation since I've ordered the Ultra Hybrid one. they then refunded me on monday without asking for returns.:good:

Their contact page on their website.
I just received my Ultra Hybrid case today and the power/volume buttons are way too sensitive. It just takes a light tap to activate them. I engaged my power button so many times just by holding the phone in my hand with the case on. I waited almost two weeks to receive it and what a disappointment this is.
I emailed them this past Friday about my faulty Slim Armor, and have yet to receive a response back. I contacted them via amazon and the contact on their website.
I got my replacement TPU, here is a comparison: Old one vs. new one.
As you can see, they did not cut the button from the rest of the case on one side which makes it hard to press. I might cut it myself as the lip inside the button has been shortened and so it should not be a problem anymore.
Ordered one myself 2 days ago... I hope it's not faulty like any ones...
Anyone receive the replacement TPU case for the Slim Armor from Spigen? I just received mine and I'm disappointed in it - I actually prefer the original one which had a slight defect. The power button on the new one requires alot of push to initiate the screenlock/unlock. The original was too sensitive at first, but after breaking it in and making sure it was properly fitted it was actually quite nice.
Anyone receive theirs? If so, feedback?
I feel the same exact way. Old one after broken in was perfect!
I just sliced the plastic on the bottom side of each button so that it's only attached by 1 flap like the original TPU piece. I find that this makes the buttons much better. Honestly, with this mod, I wish I could combine the new power button with the old volume buttons. Even with the mod, the volume buttons take a bit too much force and don't have the same feedback like the original one does.
Glad im not the only one. I thought I had just gotten so used to the old one that this one felt terrible
they sent me an email yesterday and said mine would ship soon. if the replacement sucks too, i'll just return it to amazon and get something different....i might wind up doing that anyway. inexcusable for a $18 case to have buttons that are defective.
