i could really use another one, mine broke.
Consider donating it to the CM team if anything. Or maybe they could buy it off of you for a reduced price. Anyways, hope the GNex treats you right lol

Send it to the e4gt cyanogenmod team. They will put it to good use and I bet they will at least pay for the shipping of the device. Contact wtogami if you decide to send it to the cm guys.

I would feel it would be in better hands if it went to Times_Infinity or T.C.P instead of the cm team. I wont name names, but I know who that phone would go to and I personally dont see the need for a github cherry picker to get a second phone. Just my honest opinion.

There is a lot more that goes into developing cyanogenmod for a phone then just merging changes from the github upstream. There is a large amount of testing that needs to be done along with fixing driver issues and implementing fixes for other issues that are specific for our phone.

Honestly, I both see where you guys are coming from. @brooksyx, your reasoning is because you know nothing of my development background, and I understand that. You know what CM's development background is more like, as does everyone else, which I understand as well. But for the past month I've been working close with sbrissen on this phone, which I don't even own, can't afford to buy one full retail, or even at a 2yr contract price, because I don't have Sprint as my service provider. I would love to be able to help sbrissen and T.C.P and everyone involved with getting AOKP working on this phone, especially since I have a working, booting source built AOKP with the only bugs being what is wrong with sbrissen's kernel at the moment. The decision to donate the phone to whomever he wants to, is mainly up to the owner. It's really tough developing for a device that I have zero access to and having to rely on people to test things and tell me what's broken doesn't help much either. I would be so thankful and very appreciative if he chooses to donate the phone to me, but if he chooses otherwise to go with his original choice of CM, then no hard feelings and his choice is his choice.

Hey the way I look at is that no matter who gets the phone its going to help the e4gt scene for the better. Just grateful the OP wants to give back to the scene. So no hard feelings either way!
I just upgraded to the galaxy nexus as well. I must say though, I do miss some things about the epic touch. It has better dev support at the moment. The verizon and gsm roms are not compatible with the sprint variant so at the moment, development is much slower than the other variants. I do think It will eventially pick up, especaily when jellbean comes out, but as of right now. the epic touch has more deving going on for it. Also the battery on the gnex is HORRID out of the box. Even when you install custom roms and kernels, (I recomend cyanogenmod 9 with the kernel it comes with) battery life can't touch the epic.
To the contrary, I do love all the official nightlies and roms from the big name roms, ie: aokp, cm9, and others. The 720p screen is fabulous also! The design is also very nice. The camera is nice as well due to the zero shutter lag. What will make this phone kickass is 4g lte! This phone is gonna be AWSOME when network vision hits! I am over all pleased with the phone, however I wish deving was picking up a little bit....or someone could make a flashable zip making the verizon roms compatable with ours

Thats awesome. I vote for times_Infinity also. I can attest to his work on the E4GT, I was the one that test his build of aokp that was straight from source and not a kang. And as he said, the only bugs were from the kernel which he had no control over (Radio would sometimes sleep and not wake,Screen would randomly turn on and then go back to sleep and 4g was wonky that was it). Times_Infinity from Team SbrissenMod FTW :]

For the people that are not on G+ or follow a few of the cyanogenmod team members that are on it I wanted to repost what Koush said about an hour ago. I know people are waiting for CM7 on the E4GT but at the same time pestering the dev's is not going to get us anywhere and in turn could get them upset.
Epic 4G Touch Users: The devices were donated to us by RootzWiki, with absolutely no strings or expectations attached. Please stop asking for ETAs, it's extremely irritating and pretty disheartening.
Regardless, for those asking about Epic 4G Touch, here's what has been done with it so far:
The first official template/guide for building Samsung recoveries, specifically tested on Epic 4G Touch:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/8296-gui...rkmod-recovery-into-samsunginitramfs-devices/
It also helped add external/internal sd card support in CWR and RM:
https://twitter.com/clockworkmod/status/130005657024856064
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/89ed0b7355e93c145bb40483db5f79766a00e7df
You may not appreciate it, since it doesn't get you CM7 immediately. But this is the kind of work that streamlines the process for future Samsung devices getting properly supported and mainlined.

The fact that Samsung can't even get off their ass to fix such a serious problem like LOS much less update their phones definitely makes people antsy about getting AOSP (which also helps bring other development)
Thanks for the update! I really need to follow them on Google+
Koush is the man! Noobs....let him be.
For what its worth I don't think the hangup is Samsung and lies more in the hands of Sprint who apparently have had a Samsung update submission and haven't done anything with it...for various reasons given I don't understand.
In addition to Samsung stepping up their game since the Samsung S's releases (namely beginning with SGS2 they also tried to counter their poor update record.
During the time I had the SGS2 from April through July we had THREE Samsung updates...coming fairly quickly after known issues.
The carrier here is the roadblock.
Lesson? Get the Nexus Prime.

The problem with the idea that Sprint is holding up the updates is three fold:
1) Why would Sprint hold up the LOS fix? They're losing money on constant credits and device exchanges.
2) Samsung has a history, no matter what carrier, of not being anywhere near prompt with updates.
3) Also, why would Sprint hold up updates for only Samsung devices? Other device makers don't seem to have issues.
I think the fact is, Samsung sees the international market as more important than the U.S., and is even less concerned with the CDMA market.
I am so exited! Got my phone and stock drove me CRAZY within a few hours. The folks at CM seriously spoil us. We are so lucky to have them. I don't know why the small group of geniuses at CM can develop a ROM that is AWESOME and the stock ROMs suck so bad. I mean, she wouldn't anyone want to know what their battery percentage is, or have options for their dock and lock screen style, or not throw their battery and performance in the dumpster!
Not only does CM put out awesome ROMs in a timely manner, they do it across like twenty devices and eight manufacturers for free! ! ! Friggin miraculous. Anyway, thank you! Let's not be impatient because the miracle takes a couple weeks longer than convenient.

Google is a verb. So true. All my friends and family members probably think I'm an asshole because I google everything on my "google phone" to prove everyone is wrong. Sadly I prove myself wrong too at rare occasions.
I love this phone, but I'm wondering if developers are interested in cooking ROMs for it. I "only" see a couple ( team kang, TricH, Melvin) but I was hoping that they would be more devs. The ones we have are doing an amazing job though can't complain but the more the better right? Anybody else feels this way?
I feel you, but unless you're making an effort, then you can't really do anything but be patient.

We did get a mention from cyanogen that they are cooking us up something over there. Which is about the only mod that i care about.
That said.. the phones been out for about a month. If you want anything quality, then youll have to be patient. Im sure some of the current mods are pretty good though.
also team whiskey!!!
Well think about this what can we get ice cream sandwich from cyanogen. Miui from what ever developer and touchwiz. All we need is a few great developers. I honestly would like to have more kernel developers before rom developers. Better kernels means better performance on roms.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Not all of the source choose has been released for our phone, mostly dumps. Otherwise we would have more developers.
Currently have Team Kang (cmenard, romanbb, whitehawkx, faux123), Raverx3x, |Melvin|, teshxx, Doniqcc, TricH, & Mr -X-ray. These are some of the best developers on our carrier.
Bubby323 is getting his phone soon and atoore is trying to cook up some MIUI. Everything will eventually come together but I personally couldn't be happier with our development!

Also, I think the phone that will get the most ROMs will be the GNexus since it will be the latest google phone.
The one thing about android phones is that "too many" (lol, like it's a bad thing) phones are being rolled out so fast that devs can't really catch up.

that is indeed the real problem
it's not really if DEVs are interested in one phone or not, it's that we have just waaaaaay too many choices for Android phones, and it's a hit and miss to guess which phones DEVs will be upgrading to next.

Maybe. I had a choice and clearly the GS2 was a better phone for so many reasons at a pure hardware feature level. I loved my Google Nexus S but this phone is generations ahead of it again. I don't know that devs develop to what's newest ... rather they tend to develop to what they own. I'm betting they'll own the GS2 over the GN.
also if you guys look over at the Galaxy Nexus section, you'll see there are mixed feelings among all levels of users to developers, in contrast in any of the SGS2 forums you see, the feeling is pretty much unanimous, even if not 100% it's like 99% vs 1% dissatisfied, while on the GN side it's more in the levels of 70%~30%
many have already started thinking on holding out and wait for the SGS3 instead, or the Moto Razr, and well any other device but the GN
I think there being so many options eventually all communities will be the same and to get someone to work with that phone the community will have to pitch in to a Dev to buy a phone for them. Kind of like what is going on here which I really don't think is such a bad thing but I agree there are far too many android devices coming out so quickly that nobody (unless they are rich) wants to spend 4,5,600 dollars on a device until they see the next bigger better thing coming.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
At the end of the day, I think it's just that there are only a handful of devs and too many phones. Devs can't develop for all phones. The market is too saturated.
Just look at all the phones AllGamer used...lol
As far as the GN goes, it'll be the next dev phone for at least a year, so I'm sure there will be enough devs there. Hell if tmobile would confirm to me that they will get the GN in January 2012 or within that period, I wouldn't have upgraded to the SG2 now. But no complain so far about this phone, it's the best phone i ever owned.
Hope Team Whiskey makes a comeback!
Buy your favorite dev a phone and i'm sure he will cook roms for it. Devs aren't rich and most have to wait the full 2 years to get a new phone.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
and some of us do it without the device ;P mmm lol speaking of u all need some phantom updates
The current trend of T-MO GSII ROM cooking is very fast imo, i been a ROM flasher for years now, seen so many Dev and their trend of releasing ROMs, and the GSII ROM release and update rate is very impressive, so don't worry.
More devs will come. Word is getting out that the SGS2 is a beast!

Hello fellow E4GT owners! This thread is intended to introduce the idea of a "ROM market" idea i had which has a compilation of all the roms, themes, mods, etc..SO I made a somewhat working concept app that will convey what my idea is. It is a buggy alpha, but ots enough to show what i want to make IF you guys want it. So here is it:
Introducing ROM market!
Purpose:
To bring together all the workings and information of the xda e4gt forums to one place in a market-esque feel.
Features (Users):
-Up to date download links of all current roms, modems, odin tars, mods, themes, kernels, and recoveries.
-Up to date features list, change logs, and screen shots.
-User friendly market-like experience.
Features (Devs):
-Customize your roms page to seperate yourself from the rest
-Direct links to a bug tracker page (If you have one)
Can a mod edit the second option of the poll to a "No" please?
**Update**
Demo:
http://goo-inside.me/devs/Globalninja/Rom-Market-2.0.apk
Tell me what you guys think...Keep in mind this is still in alpha.
Go:
ROMs->Blazer->Blazer 4.0 to see an example of the page.
Whats clickable:
Back button (Top left)
Mail Button (Top right)
Download button
The change log and features box.
You scroll through the images, but I have not added the full screen version yet.

It looks cool, but the E4GT wiki is sorta the same thing, I guess the difference would be a more simpler approach and exclusive to the E4GT? Makes sense if you can get all the developers on board I Imagine.
would you be able to handle the workload? acs updater has a place where people can submit stuff and we are always behind on it... (very very behind)
i use goo-inside.me's app, it has any stuff i do organized very nicely, the admins have it setup so new stuff is automatically added in. it supports automatic updates as well so long as devs set their roms up nicely. plus all teh files are hosted on their server so no worries about old/bad links.
plus they threatened to beat me up unless i endorsed them :O

Very true, but to tell you the truth i have never used the wiki. Ever. I feel this would be very convinient.
As far as exclusive to e4gt. For now yes...in the future i hope to include other devices.
Im building the framework in a way that you have a database of all the information and all you have to do is switch out variables

PayPal here:
Any donations and/or support are greatly appreciated.
11/14/12: withdrew monies from PayPal. Putting it towards purchases of some more hardware. Leaving the donation link up because this project could surely use much more support! Thanks to everyone who contributed so far!
10/30/12: made a quick update to the chipin site. Still working on getting the chipin site and Paypal to sync properly, but all donations are definitely showing in the Paypal, so no worries.
UPDATE: The first donation of up to $50 dollars, I will match with a donation of $50.
UPDATE 2: Due to popular demand, there will be a "learner box" created for those that want to "experiment" with development on a faster machine. There should be enough parts to put it together and have it running as we approach the current project goal.
This is the official buildbox support thread. Many of you are probably wondering what a buildbox is... I will try to explain without getting too far sidetracked!
---Purpose---We are trying to raise money in support of multiple roms/devs. This is not for one particular dev, nor is it one particular rom. Consider this a donation to the community in which you are a part of. This is helping the devs have more resources at their disposal, and ultimately, helping you have a better rom! Please read below for more of an explanation.
---What is buildbox?---For the open source community (CM10, Paranoid Android, CNA, etc), the roms are built from source. Doing this is not very easy, nor is it quick! It takes a lot of time and effort. I don't want to simply 'thank' the devs and leave it at that. So, I have made a contribution to the open source community. I have commited a powerful server to the devs that choose to use it for building open source roms.
Now you say, "So what... they could use their own computer and build roms..."
Yes, they could. However, look at this. For many devs (especially since ICS and above), the build times have increased significantly!! I'm talking 4+ hours in some cases! In steps the buildbox. The buildbox (in it's current condition) has cut most build times to between 20 and 30 mins.
Then you ask, "Why does that matter to me?" Well, the quicker the rom is done, the quicker we discover bugs, and, in turn, can FIX bugs! Think about it: If you were waiting in the lobby at the car dealership for some work to be done and it was going to take 3 hours to complete the work, you wait. You aren't getting anything done. Now, if you were able to speed the process up to 25 min, you could get much more done that day because you aren't stuck for over 3 hours!
---Why does this matter to you?---Maybe more choices of roms, maybe nightlies of your favorite roms, maybe less bugs! A small donation toward our goal will help keep the hardware current and allow for the devs to get the great benefit of a powerful machine. Hard drive space is quickly filling up, the RAM is over full utilization, and other hardware improvements can be made.
PayPal here:
Any donations and/or support are greatly appreciated.
Currently supported devs (a big thanks goes out to them and their work!): Phantomphreak53 (CM10 nightlies), kbizzle (Paranoid Android), and justlovejoy (CNA)
PS: If anyone is looking for more info, has suggestions, or is interested in the project, feel free to pm me. All of the devs can vouch for me (even a couple not listed here). This is a legitimate request. We are counting on the open source community to keep this project going strong.
tl;dr, support open source development and make a donation to the development tools!
This Dude Is Amazing In his efforts to contribute to the true meaning of AOSP for ALL!
Thank You! Without You CNA wouldnt have moved as fast as it did and my future ROM's
Hopefully too! Thank You Again Sir!
If I had the money to throw down on this I would definitely make a donation for this.
Not only would this help cut build times, this would also speed up the time it takes to sync repositories, depending on the connection that the build box has.

I use to donate to Developers, because they spend time developing instead studying, hanging with friends or family etc.
But to be honest, and judging about other threads by you. This sounds more like: "i want a new computer" than "lets help the community".
I hope to be wrong.

This is not a "I want to buy a new computer" type of thread.
This is a thread for donations to help keep his server up and running. Running a cloud based server for building from source requires a good internet connection, and I'm not talking 12, 20, or even 50Mbps... at the minimum it needs a good fiber connection with something like 100Mbps down and at a minimum 50Mbps up.
Just think of this, it is similar to a virtual machine you can run at home.. but you can have multiple sessions running at once. Justlovejoy could be doing something, slick_rick could be doing something, sbrissen, phantomphreak, etc. If one needs to do a sync of the repository, there would be plenty of bandwidth and processing power for all of the developers to do so.
With donations, he could go out and get more memory for making backups. He could set a cron job for something like 6 in the morning after the nightly builds complete to make a backup image of the entire build box. Our developers work is safe if there is ever any failure. That means less time reconfiguring build environment, syncing repositories, building, committing changes to github...

I invite you to read the information contained in the link to the chipin site. I have tried to elaborate as much as possible to help everyone understand the purpose of this project. I am including a quote from the chipin site (which I plan to update with any future upgrades for the project):

You are correct, we owe credit to sbrissen for jellbybean. These "secondary devs" have produced many good roms. They have allowed the community more choices. They actively work on fixes. They try to answer the communities requests. They provide you nightlies (for the flash-o-holics out there). It doesn't sound like you are giving these "secondary devs" as much credit as they are due.
This is a completely independent project. Without support from the community, it will be hard for these great devs to continue to put out the work that they do.

AOSP stands for android open source project. All of the roms listed are not touchwiz. Hence, they are AOSP. Also, the thread doesn't ever "not include" sbrissen or others. It simply states the devs that use the buildbox that I have created. That is all stated in everything I have written. If you want to donate to sbrissen, that is your choice.
As basketthis has already said... this buildbox is not only limited to the devs that are currently using his server.
I would imagine if the resources like CPUs, RAM, and bandwidth allow for it... any dev that builds from source can use this option to build their source built roms. Even kernel devs such as Agat could use this option to build from source.
The sky is the limit to how many devs could take advantage of this, the only thing that is holding this back is contributions from the community. Instead of donating $5 to a dev, you could donate 3 or 4 and donate 1 or 2 to the build box fund... or you could just donate to the dev and the dev should donate for using the build box. Either way, there will be contributions to help keep the build box up and running.

Umm the point of this thread is for e4gt users to donate (if they want) to this build box so devs can put out their roms quicker and such. Nowhere does it say sbrissen isn't allowed to use it. If he wanted to use it I'm sure he could.

Its by invite only? No wonder. Fail.
If you can prove you are a good enough dev, you would get an invite to use this service.
How is that a fail? Are you expecting complete noobs to use this and waste resources? If someone wants to get their feet wet with development, run a virtual machine.

That's fine but it should be a service for everyone who wants to try to develop. I have a itch to learn but like I said I don't have a computer with enough hardware to build a source ROM with. So how can I "prove myself" to anyone. Either way I won't donate to something I got absolutely zero access too. That's just my 2 cents. I'm sure others feel the same.

Heya, believe it or not we are both coming from the same place. I loved my EVO 3D and hacked it to the max. However, has the months went by the phone's specs were no longer "flagship" quality. As a result, I went with LG OG after much and I mean much research. To your answer it is not empty but it just in hibernation until Jelly Bean is released, which is going to happen at any time very soon for Korean already has it (End of Jan I hope). So the devs are holding back releases for roms until JB but CM and ASOP are all in development as we speak.

^^^ I agree with what you said. In fact ive seen this.on many phones. Most of the blame is on lg for releasing the phone half ass. And also there wasent enough marketing put into the phone quite honest. By no means this isnt a flagship phone. Just because its labled as one. True the specs are nice but the fact that released with bugs and with ICS is complete bullcrap and a let down for sure. Further its just the nature of this forum to have to many chiefs not enough indians type of deal. Best way to learn anything is just to read up learn a little bit and have a clear mind and confidence u wont mess up your phone hahaha?

Space, I don't have a wide berth of knowledge to give you, as this is only my 2nd Android smartphone. That said, the development here is severely lacking. There were a lot of hotshots promising things they couldn't deliver early on (like this phone is exactly the same as the Nexus 4, lol). They say all the action happens in IRC but log in there. Try it. Back yet? Didn't learn **** did you? No one talks about development there. It's like a business meeting about more meetings. They talk about what they need to be developing.
In the end, I'm not helping, so I can't really complain, but it's slightly frustrating to have a beast of a phone that no one is improving. Least of all LG. When I've attempted to get information I've been ignored or given the "we don't really know" SLASH "stfu kid" response. If you find good development news I'd love to see it.

Many of us work, I work full time and have kids. Plus I have several other projects. If you honestly think nothing is getting done, maybe you should check github. Look at the amount of work being done towards cm10.1 for the lgog.
Not all development is ROMs and themes. Most of it happens before you see those ROMs and mods. Sure I could copy paste a rom together on my phone and call it something. Then everyone would think it was so cool, but the fact is it wouldn't be much different then what we already have. Will I build a stock based rom? Yes. Kernels? Yes. Aosp ROMs, yes. Some fancy aroma kitchen sink mod. Yup. Will I be doing this all within a week of getting the device and doing my research on it? Nope. There are like 20 sensors on this phone. Not to mention a ton of testing on kernels, what's bloat, what's a proprietary driver/lib vs source built. You need to remember that all of the development is done in peoples spare time. The phone is fast so no rush making it
Faster. The software is decent and has some decent feature without a lot of annoying issues so no rush there. Battery could be improved but thats mostly usage based. Nothing is crippled on this phone so there isn't exactly a huge rush to fix something on it. That is a good thing. We can pace ourselves and get more creative instead of fixing crap that should work already.
The biggest issue is not being jb+. That is being worked on daily by many people. I plan on helping as well but I agree with most of the devs on waiting for the korean source drop.
Give this phone time and it'll be crawling with flashy things.

To add on to what Jokersax said, there is alot of development going on, but not as roms. CM10.1 technically works, but there is a bug that wont allow your to see anything on it. Would you like somebody to post it for you to test? We have to get a device tree going, and see what mods from other phones work here, and what we need to chance to get the different roms we build up and going. I am fairly new on the dev scene, but I am working on a rom ATM, just about to get out of the testing phase for my first public build (in the dev section). b-reezy is also working on porting MIUI, removing LG software to make it almost completely AOSP, and getting a few themes on our device, and helping me learn more as I go. We have alot of devs, but between real life events, and the time to make everything work it takes time. How long does a take big companies to get updates out that have dedicated developers? For LG it has been over a year to update one generation of android. Just be happy we can update it before that. Also if you sit enough on IRC you can find stuff (I found a flashable korean rom for our phone that boots, is english, but doesnt have 3g/4g/wifi working and such, so it is not posted here yet), but alot of it is people working in their free time, and all my talk about my work is either in my what do you want in my roms thread under Q&A, where there is already 3 test builds of my rom, and some of us are talking individually, like joker right above me, and b-reezy both talk to me daily on Gtalk the last several days to about 2 weeks for each one of them. And I cant remotely do anything as good as they can. Just wait a month or two then you will be spammed with roms and kernels to use. Try hitting up the Nook Tablet thread and see how development is going on there- I have had it over a year and there isnt even 2 dozen roms for it. It is all a matter on how locked the device is, and the drivers and such for the phone. Also we may be able to port stuff from the Nexus 4 BUT THIS IS NO WHERE NEAR THE SAME THING! We have a locked boatloader, the nexus doesnt (really big difference for dev work), plus GSM vs. CDMA radios is alot harder to dev for it seems like in the beginning. It is annoying how people complain about dev work not being fast enough yet they dont even remotely understand how any of it works. FYI we will probably have Jellybean on our device before LG releases it. 4.2 is the primary concern for the bigger devs right now. IF ANYBODY CANT FIND OUT THE LATEST DEVELOPMENT ON IRC JUST ASK, OR EMAIL OR GTALK ME AT [email protected] FOR MINE AND OTHER DEVS LATEST WORK. LET THEM WORK ON IT IN THEIR FREE TIME FOR FREE, AND I CAN ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS WHILE I AM AT SCHOOL OR WAITING FOR PRACTICE TO START. If you payed these devs then you complain, other than that STFU. There is alot of stuff that goes on that we cant account for ahead of time.
Jeeze people, devs do this stuff as a hobby. Who are we to ***** that they don't do it fast enough, as one who has no programming skills I'm just grateful to the guys who do the work to make a killer device even better. Am I itching for some CM goodness? Sure, but I can wait, this phone is awesome as is.

It's picking up really well. I truly love the beginning of development life for great phones. I also had the evo 3d and enjoyed it grow from cleanrom to jellybean 4.1.
I really don't mind not having cm10. I personally would rather have stock jb. This LG stuff isn't half bad. The only thing for me is I get easily bored. I like the super cool themed roms with pretty things. But, that being said, jelly bean came out like forever ago. We are on like 4.2.2. I am more upset with LG. It isn't like they didn't know it was coming.

Agreed. Pressure should be put on LG to update and release source. This is what we need to get more things rolling.
That being said, even though this software is only ICS, this is my first Android that I don't mind stock. I've run all the versions of ZV9 so far and stock deodex with some tweaks runs wonderfully. I'm coming from Touch wiz and Sense systems where they skin and change everything. I'll always be a Vanilla head, but I'm just as stoked to see what LG does with jellybean. This stock software isn't that far from AOSP really.
Also I don't see what the hoopla is about trying to port Nexus 4. This phone has way more potential than that.

are you serious with this rant??
The Point of BUYING A TOP OF THE LINE PHONE IS FOR THE LATEST UPDATES ON IT!! I BOUGHT IT ACTUALLY BASED ON THE PRESS SAYING IT WAS GOING TO RELEASE WITH Jellybean/or it would soon after which has been far from the truth.
YET IVE actually owned all those other phone that you mentioned as well. And yes eventually they received some nice DEV, all but the Photon which left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never buy a MOTOROLA again!
That was all 3 years back respectively. Wouldn't you think a company would learn from past mistakes of other manufactures? Especially when they are "debuting" a "flagship device" Bottom Line - Its not smart.. You have you opinion, but no need to make an excuse for a companies bad decision. That is just Fact my friend....

One last thing actually as a consumer we are entitled to timely updates by LG as Big as a company as they are to put the correct resources in the right places to ensure its consumers who pay for there premium product to have the most up to date software!! It would also make dev a hell of a lot easier too.
It has not been long yet so i have a little patience left..

Pushy?
I cant even take you serious!! Bring facts*
As Stated its simply not good for business* Fact*. This is the Gen section so all rants apply here, regardless of your personal opinions/feelings - Maybe you can state your opinion and try not to tell people what to THINK. LOL I guess you would also fall into my statement about "Chiefs & Indians"??
IT GOES UNSAID THAT THE DEVS DESERVE CREDIT (They work with what they're given) - no need to constantly push that on people, obviously the devs are in control. To many of them there is some Incentive that also goes unsaid or unheard too. But to each their own!!

I agree with everything you said I just think its easier to be patient when things are kept in perspective. I too am disappointed lg didn't reach they're original promise of jb by December but I'm happy the phone works great and that lg didn't hurt the software TOO MUCH so there isn't problems.
And I'm glad you said you appreciate the devs work I just didn't wanna see the opposite and assumed you were being pushy because you said you agree with that guys post that sounded very demanding just cuz he couldn't see work done on irc.
