What is the best Minfree values for SGY?
Please answer the questions in relation to ROM toolbox
and if you like to share your toolbox settings, just post it here
i have been trying some settings myself, just want to ask for suggestions
48 is common used in custom rom. You can increase it to 64 depend on your ram setting
Will Romtoolbox conflict with v6supercharger?

it wont conflict if you dont mess up with minfrees, coz v6 changes minfrees
For VM heap size 64 mb is recommended as many good roms have it in build.prop(I noticed in creed and repencis)..I do think V6 changes the min freeze values to a optimum value depending on the RAM of the device and if we run the script for once we can notice the best minfreeze values

everytime I try an overclock kernal my speeds slow down .. I know that cf-bench and antutu are just numbers and all but .. if the kernals do speed up the phone then I would figure that the numbers would go up from my base numbers due to the performance increase .... but instead I lose about 1000 on each test.
I am currently on Juggernaut and the jugs kernal and I am hitting right under what I was on stock kernal and the stock deodexed ROM I had.
I have it set to 1.7 (1.8 bootloops) thru setcpu and the setting is on lag free currently and I have also tried the on demand setting as well and it was about the same results.
any reason why this would be?
not sure about you, but running great over here check these out

Most of time we flash script on our phone custom Roms.
but most of them are just a placebo script so I think about doing review of every script.
I tested every script one by one and check the difference.
Finally I found the scripts which are not a placebo and done huge difference in our phone performance and battery
The 99Power is the package of such script.(also included in My GingerDx Rom)
I will do more research on every script and will add to this package
Remember,If you have any Rom which have lot of tweaks then you need to first delete all the tweaks from init.d folder
Download the script from here
current version:1.0
Thanks to:
every script present on xda
Adrenaline Tweaks
Now this is amazing thanks

Hello All,
I would like to share something that I found using "betterbatteryStats" that can be very helpful with Kitkat LG ROM (I believe that with CM you don't need this because there is App Ops "natively", another option is xposed modules), old stock ROM i've not tested.
Recently I've just unnistall "greenify" after reading Chamonix opion about greenify and wakelocks problematic, right now I analyse frequently wakelocks information and I try to reduce their impact in my phone performance.
This is my procedure right now:
1. Analise "alarm" statistic.

3. choose "app Ops"
4, Select app to change
5. Turn off the option that you want

I just only flash Google Services. It means that if I'll root my device I'll be able to use Swapper and increase RAM?

No man,its risky.better to ask any devoloper about it,than trying it yourself OR you can wait until someone makes a method
I'm hardocre
My observations:
Heavy apps doesn't close, but they work slower. I have 8 GD Class 10 SD Card.
But stock RAM Swap on /dev/block/zram0 is interesting...
Hello,

I don't think there is a universally best kernel. All kernels try to find a useable balance between performance and battery backup. Some are a bit more performance-oriented, others try to push this balance a little bit more towards battery. Last but not least, the interaction of ROM, apps and kernel is important. So you won't be able to avoid trying out a few kernels with your device (and your usage) and choosing the best one for you.
In my usecase (long lasting battery, only short&light loads, no gaming) I'm quite happy with N0Kernel (battery version). However, my kernel tests were made a while ago and there are more recent versions of all kernels, I think. There might be better kernels out now (for my usecase), but I would need several weeks to be able to make a comparison.
