Hello All,
I would like to share something that I found using "betterbatteryStats" that can be very helpful with Kitkat LG ROM (I believe that with CM you don't need this because there is App Ops "natively", another option is xposed modules), old stock ROM i've not tested.
Recently I've just unnistall "greenify" after reading Chamonix opion about greenify and wakelocks problematic, right now I analyse frequently wakelocks information and I try to reduce their impact in my phone performance.
This is my procedure right now:
1. Analise "alarm" statistic.

2. Select desire system/app process (press icon)
3. choose "app Ops"
4, Select app to change
5. Turn off the option that you want

Amazing colored file explorer... Nice job !!
Hey, it does not seem to work for me.
After installation I just get the Anti-slash \ and that's it.
Also the search module doesn't work.
I have the last Mi7rom installed, is there any incompatibility? Thanks for your answer.
@seiferflo: I've heard that some custom ROMs don't automatically apply full-unlock to all apps, and instead have a control app (similar to WP7 Root Tools) where you can allow apps full access. This app will need full permissions, so if your ROM has anything like that, that's probably your problem.
I know I'm a n00b! And that's why I need some special "halp".
I have a MK16, It has the .587 and small apps but I'm using a Framework by Till-Kruspe (that was intended for MDPI but looks great on HDPI). I was reading a tutorial on how to add reboot option but this framework already has it so I wanted a Reboot into CWM option for teh coolness factor. (And it's useful!)
I decompiled this framework but to my surprise it has been prepared to have the reboot into cwm option (strings, pngs. and more) but it doesn't appear on the power menu. So I got to another thread (By draco_ag) and extracted android.policy from his mods, because It has the CWM option in his power menu and to my surprise now the ClockworkMod option appears (on the Framework by Till-Kruspe)....BUT the next pop-up says the phone will shut down and it does, but the reboot options works fine.
The Question: How to "repair" or further modify it to make it work?

Just in case you don't already know. If you have apps or in my case games that require wifi for them to work such as Modern Combat 5 on multi player mode. There is an xposed module that will allow you to make the game(s) think you are on wifi. The module is called "Fake Wifi Connection". Thanks to lemonsqueeze for making it.

Install the xposed FRAMEWORK (requires root) from below. Then search for the Fake Wifi Connection module and install it. Open the module and select the app or game you want to enable the module for and save it. That's it. Enjoy multi-player on 4g or lte.

thanks, will try it out on my cable tv app that needs wifi to work. so stupid lol
Hi all,
I I had recently installed the official rom for D855 by Robalm (v30b). Full wipe, factory reset, and then installed.
Problem: I am missing a list of apps running in the background when I try to view them in Task Manager (by JRummy) and other task managers from the Play Store.
I know for a fact that there are indeed apps running in the background, as seen by MM's App Manager. When I run the Task Manager in ROM Toolbox Pro for instance, I only see ROM Toolbox Pro showing.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Just bumping this up.
Hi,
Any thoughts on this? Or this an issue exclusively on Marshmallow?
Cheers!

same here
Still locked and stock right now, but used ADB commands to enable wakelock detector lite (no root needed), noticed the following wakelocks pretty consistently:
OnePlus Launcher
*job*/com.android.launcher3/.quickpage.weather.WeatherService
UID
bluedroid_timer
The first seems to be related to the OnePlus launcher shelf weather service, which I don't even have enabled nor use. Not sure what the second is.
Any idea how to mitigate these without root or xposed?
Same problem (OxygenOS 2.3.7)

Click to collapse
Freeze the stock launcher or uninstall it and use some other launcher.
U can try 2 turn off the weather in shelf. For me the problem was fixed than (when i was using OOS 3.x.x).
About the bluedroid_timer wakelock, maybe the following thread will be useful:
