Hello everyone,
some days the DHD of my girlfriend has a problem: no longer works on WIFI.
When she goes to flag "Enable Wi", after a few seconds the message "Error".
Looking in "Hardware Information", where the Wi-Fi MAC address should be written , it says "not available".
The DHD is not rooted and is updated to the latest rom.
Thank you, hello.
Tried factory resetting?

there is written "not available"
before doing a factory reset, I wanted to know if it was possible to solve in another way (do not lose any data (contacts, sms, settings, ...))
It seems an hardware fail...

the dhd won't display the wifi mac address or the bluetooth mac address only if it's on....a solution is to do a full wipe and reflash current custom rom or flash another rom like xxxPachaxxx runny surprise i tried a lot of roms but this rom works like a charme great battery performance...stable and lags at all
same prob here
Hi guys, I have the same problem here (

Hi normally it's just a problem related to no space left, and try to check if you have enough storage to install.
Ciao.

This is the first time I post.. I did search the website but couldn't find a solution that is appropriate to my current problem..
So, I got two problems/issues with this mod..
First off, is that the Wifi Mac Address keeps changing everytime WIFI is turned on/off. Is there a solution for this bug or can you guys point me to a better cyanogenmod for Ice Cream Sandwich for the galaxy gio if you know any?
Second, I cannot connect USB mass storage of phone to computer. Can you guys help me with this too?
EDIT: I managed to connect to USB using some app i found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389375. I would like to know if there is an easier way to connect to USB mass storage than the one i found.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the direction bro .. But still, do you know if the Wifi Mac Address issue is working properly on that ROM or in the ROM I have? Cuz I have a router which has wireless MAC Address Filtering enabled.

But why not disable adress filtering and use a strong WPA2-PSK security password protection?

Thats the only thing I can do for now I guess.. Then, how about the USB connection issue? Is there an easier way for accomplishing that? And thanks for the reply
EDIT: Guys, can you also help me how to get adobe flash player to work on this cyanogenmod? I installed by following the way instructed by the site: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19623732&postcount=1
The only thing it shows when I run the flash app using a SWF player, is a cube with question marks on it.

hi i have a problem with the hotspot and tether apps , first time a had that problem with XxXPachaXxX NERO 2.2 rom then installed this rom ViperDHD v1.2.1 wich is a very good rom !! i thought it was a rom problem and it was mentioned that the hotspot works fine in this rom but i still have the same problem if i use the hotspot app i get connexion but no internet and after deactivating the app mi WIFI doesn't wok i have to restart my phone to get the wifi again; if i use another app like wifi tether i get an error msg ( the tetherting started with errors tetherting failed ) now i switched back to CM7 and still nothing.
PLZ help guys ? thanks all
Hi darko1x, have you tried PDAnet? It's a tethering app I've used it with GB,ICS and JB roms currently on Codefire X's SR5. Its always done the job for me and even has an option to disguise your tethering, as some phone carriers will block your internet use if you're not paying for an extra tethering package.
Hi and thnx for the reply, so i tried the app you suggested and it gets to nothing.
I made some screenshots for 3 differnt apps, take a look please

With JellyTime I can't use tethering too, I've opened a bug report but in R29 wasn't fixed yet.
I tried 3 different mods and no solution
Ps: it was working good first time i used CM7
