Has anybody found a way to bypass exchange security policies for Sense Email in latest Sense 4.0?
Just moved from using TouchWiz email (that had policies bypassed), and I'm not sure if same hack is available for Sense email.
Thanks!

Hi,
Is it possible to set priority for outgoing mails? I couldn't find it...
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
There is no way to prioritize outgoing within the gmail app, it also doesn't work with the stock mail client.
Maybe another app like enhanced email or k9 is capable of this?

I haven't tried them yet but it should be. So, does gmail have priority when it is using on web?
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
I never really thought about whether the gmail web service offers to set an e-mails priority. Just checked though and it appears that you simply can't, there's no option to be found.
Also, gmail appears to delete/disregard incoming mails priorities, an email send via outlook exchange arrived with out any indication for its high priority.
This probably also rules out the possibly to get around it with any other app.
What a strange! Gmail app shows priority mails as a folder but gmail doesn't support to send priority mail

I am needing the email application from the One X to run on my Motorola Xoom as I am finding the stock ICS email application shocking.
I also need the mat hing widget for the email.
Hope someone can help.

Won't work, needs Sense-framework to work. Sorry bro :/

Monkey nuts!
I just can't get over how crap the stock ICS mail app is. I can't even search my inbox on my Xoom!
Currently using Enhanced Email, but it doesn't have a widget. It does however have ActiveSync & search capabilities.

FYI, K-9 has horrible Exchange support. It only fully supports Exchange versions that are almost 10 years old now (2003).

Hi Guys
Quick question for you, hoping someone can help... Is there a way to 'always display images' when using the stock Mail app?
Thanks

What about increasing the attachment download limit to a higher value: default i zero i belive
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
Mail size limit in the mail settings probably set to TEXT ONLY
Cheers guys.
I've looked into the mail size settings and set the value to Maximum but it still, when I open an email asks me if I want to Display Images.
Am I missing a trick here?
Thanks again.

It does this incase the mail is from rogue senders, if I'm correct on hotmail on the pc I have to click always show content from this sender, if not it will show grey empty blocks untill clicked.
The mail app doesn't support this , although gmail does I think.

Isn't it a security feature? In which case, you may be able to set it to display but my guess is that it will only allow it from the actual mailbox (e.g. from hotmail or gmail online). So maybe if you set certain senders to a safe list or allow images from them, it may also work when receiving from those senders on your phone?
That's great. Thank you guys. You rock.

Hey guys,
I was really wondering.. What mail app do you use?
I previously always used the Gmail app, but since I got my HoX 3 months ago I only use the mail app, because of a better ui and usability, imho.
Do you use Gmail, Mail or an other app for your mail services? Tell us and discuss why!

For my gmail account I use gmail. For my work exchange account I use HTC's Mail app. I like them both and have never tried another mail app (don't like the idea of entering my account info in a third party app).

For Gmail I use the native app.
For my personal email, I used to use K9-Mail but have now switched to MailDroid.
