Question about HTC Mail - HTC One X

Hi Guys
Quick question for you, hoping someone can help... Is there a way to 'always display images' when using the stock Mail app?
Thanks

What about increasing the attachment download limit to a higher value: default i zero i belive
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA

Mail size limit in the mail settings probably set to TEXT ONLY

Cheers guys.
I've looked into the mail size settings and set the value to Maximum but it still, when I open an email asks me if I want to Display Images.
Am I missing a trick here?
Thanks again.

It does this incase the mail is from rogue senders, if I'm correct on hotmail on the pc I have to click always show content from this sender, if not it will show grey empty blocks untill clicked.
The mail app doesn't support this , although gmail does I think.

Isn't it a security feature? In which case, you may be able to set it to display but my guess is that it will only allow it from the actual mailbox (e.g. from hotmail or gmail online). So maybe if you set certain senders to a safe list or allow images from them, it may also work when receiving from those senders on your phone?

That's great. Thank you guys. You rock.

[Q]Setting priority on gmail app?

Hi,
Is it possible to set priority for outgoing mails? I couldn't find it...
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
There is no way to prioritize outgoing within the gmail app, it also doesn't work with the stock mail client.
Maybe another app like enhanced email or k9 is capable of this?

I haven't tried them yet but it should be. So, does gmail have priority when it is using on web?
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
I never really thought about whether the gmail web service offers to set an e-mails priority. Just checked though and it appears that you simply can't, there's no option to be found.
Also, gmail appears to delete/disregard incoming mails priorities, an email send via outlook exchange arrived with out any indication for its high priority.
This probably also rules out the possibly to get around it with any other app.
What a strange! Gmail app shows priority mails as a folder but gmail doesn't support to send priority mail

[Q] Facebook for HTC Sense

Hey guys, finally received my white One X and it is a beautiful phone indeed! After playing with the camera for a bit I managed to take some photos that I wanted to upload to Facebook, but despite trying to upload them over 3G and wifi, they always fail with an "unknown error" occurring each time.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any way to resolve this?
Thanks
No issues here... Try after some time or re-install

You have to do the profile pic from inside the Facebook app, not from the gallery~

Are you using the stock HTC messaging app? If not, that could be the source. Also, have you installed any apps that have ads? That could also cause your popups.

I am using stock messaging app. I have a bunch of apps installed, but how can I know which one is the culprit.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
It's not something to do with your carrier is it? For example, with Vodafone you can get stuff text daily from them. In the app draw there's a Vodafone one that I can select news, weather, jokes, horoscopes etc.
Thats an alert message. I stumbled across how to make that happen on any phone a while ago.
When you send a text message put !! As the first two characters. It then by passes all app settings and pops up.
Never posted as it would be abused.......

Not been funny or anything but who in their right mind would give out their details to strangers, especially when it holds important personal photos? Lesson learned I guess.
Name and shame!

what's the new email adress (u should receive an email from dropbox after changing password or email) ?
Could u connect via dropbox app to your account?

I've tried emailing it and no response

Yeah,i didn't had a problem with him.Gave him the details,he added 50 GB,after i received the mail i immediately changed my dropbox password and ended his session with dropbox (you can do that from the website ) and i didn't had any problems.
I was in the same situation (mailed him an old account to play with) he also changed password and email, the only thing u can do is contact dropbox (support is sloooooooow)
U got pm
InsertCoined from my bricked One X
Ok,i've read some posts from here and i don't understand some things. If you change your password don't you instantly receive an email from dropbox with a link in it (the link dirrecting you to the password management section of dropbox)? And don't the same thing apply with the email?
He asks you to change your password.....he changed the email associated to the account and then rechanged the password
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
And Dropbox doesn't send you and email regarding this?I mean,if they send an email regarding the password with a link to retrieve the password, why wouldn't they do the same with the email?
The "change email" option that Dropbox offers i don't agree with it,i mean, email shouldn't be changed, honestly,or if so,they should make up a better prottection system if they allow you to do this.Anyway,i think you should contact Dropbox team to see how to solve this (but i doubt that they will do something about it).
I guess i was lucky .
The only thing that dropbox did, is sent an email...
Your email adress has been changed from... to ...
No confirmation link....
Safety first... lol

When they email you about any changes that say in the email if you haven't made any changes please click here
