If you dload and flash ANY of rockodevs beats audio mods, it causes multiple errors in your ROM ranging from unable to change your boot animation up to the system apps crashing and the camera screwing up, leading to a reflash of your ROM after wiping data. Happened to me every time I tried.

Hey have you pm or replied in the thread to rockodev?
THats probably the best place to start if you are having issues.
Hello All,
Well, after scouring the internet for a solution, I am back here again with the problem still there. So plz don't start with the "do you know abt google ?" or "do a thorough search before u come here" comments.
PROBLEM: Until 2 days ago I was on ARHD 6.32 with NoSense++ 1.6 script using Radio_12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M. I had been using this setup for at least 6 months. Everything was fine & I've never had this earpiece problem before with ANY rom. Also, if it helps, I had installed the Beats Installer (I hope that din't mess up my earpiece???). Then 2 days ago I was using Viber (I use it regularly) but the sound in the earpiece was rather loud & distorted & it sounded as if the sound were tearing through the speaker. I don't mean that literally, I'm just describing how it sounded. However, when I turn the speakerphone on, I can hear the person at the other end clearly.
WHAT I DID: I thought ok maybe I need to do a full wipe & it'll b fixed but I also wanted to try out the new ICS & JellyBean roms. After doing a full wipe I flashed the ICS rom by existz (amazing rom) but the earpiece problem was still still there. So then after doing a full wipe, I flashed the IceColdSandwich rom by Lord ClockAN (another amazing rom) but the earpiece problem remained. Then after performing yet another full wipe, I flashed the JellyBean- JellyTime rom (lovely rom). Then I installed the latest radio by pushing it through adb (Radio_12.68.60.29U_26.16.04.09_M) & did a reboot. Earpiece problem remains. So finally I flashed SuperWipe by Mike1986 then ARHD 7.04, NoSense++ 1.6 script, Friendstream remover then performed a reboot. Loving this rom btw. But the earpiece problem remains. Someone in the ARHD thread advised me to remove all voip apps as he replaced the earpiece in his phone but the problem returned & din't go away until he had removed ALL voip apps on his DHD. No VoIP apps r installed on my DHD as it's a fresh install...
FINAL CONCLUSION: Problem is STILL there, I've tried everything I possibly could Does this mean I need a new earpiece ?
Advice would be much appreciated... Thanks everyone....
I have same problem, I searched every whwere to find :
Radio_12.68.60.29U_26.16.04.09_M
Pls advise the link
Thanks
Have you tried completely wiping the SD card as well as doing a full wipe of everything else? Sometimes things on the SD card can cause strange issues. I've had it happen to me. If that doesn't work you may want to reverse to s on and wipe SD and install stock ruu. If problem is still there at complete stock then its probably hardware.

Hey mate,
thanks a lot... By wipe du mean just format it after backing up the SD card ? Also, if I backup the backups of various apps e.g. settings, contacts, sms etc & then format the SD card, do all those folders show up again after I flash a stock ROM ? I guess I'm not too clear on wot u mean by wiping the SD card :laugh:

Yes just backup stuff you know and have put there like music, pictures, downloaded stuff you want to keep etc. Anything you don't know what it is don't back it up. Then format SD card. Do a full format not a quick. Then without ejecting card,reboot into recovery. Mount SD card in recovery and put on rom you want to use. Select wipe all partitions except SD card and then flash ROM. The goal is to try and flash your device with nothing on SD card except the ROM itself.

I suppose to avoid the possibility of not ejecting causing problems you could just go to recovery then mount SD and do the above.

What's the difference between
Radio_12.69.60.29_26.17.14.11_M
and
Radio_12.69a.60.29U_26.17.14.11_M
??
I think it's the same thing... Check the MD5 for each of them... If it's the same then they're the same radio.. Also, at times depending upon ur carrier/phone service, the U will change to another letter even though it's the same radio....
Thanks
These settings in build prop change the U to P or whatever depending on what's there.

ro.ril.enable.dtm = 0
ro.ril.gprsclass = 12
ro.ril.hsdpa.category = 10
ro.ril.hsupa.category = 6
ro.ril.hsxpa = 3
Hsxpa when set to 3 is P and when its 2 its U. The radio is the same its just internal settings that tag it with different letters.

1) Hey man, well where do I find the proper stock rom ? I know abt this link, or is it some other link:
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Ace
2) I got my phone from Vodafone UK on contract... Which rom should I flash from the list above ? Or if it's some other link I should be at then plz advise... Cheers...
3) I JUST found this link on the HTC website under HTC media link Rom update for HTC Desire HD 1.11.0.0):
http://www.htc.com/uk/help/htc-desire-hd/#download
Is this the ruu I'm looking for ?
4) After flashing the stock ruu, I will obviously lose root. Wot abt S-OFF ? Will that still b active ? Nonetheless, how do I root my DHD again ? Using this ?
http://tau.shadowchild.nl/attn1/?p=74
Once you flash the ruu you will still be s off. From there you can just use aahk to reflash recovery and then flash whatever rooted rom you want. Some people claim though that they were able to fix an issue by using aahk to return to stock with s on. And then flashing ruu and then verifying problem is gone. If so run aahk again to gain s off, root and custom recovery.

Hey man I don't know which RUU to use. Plz help me out w that ? Or shud I just use the latest WWE ?
This is the first I've heard of this problem... does it affect the Inspire as well?
I will wait to see if your sound problem is solved.
I am not ready to re roote , last time i did it for DHD before two years, it was dificult , took me 3 hours.
I dont know whether it is simple with using aahk.
Good luck
Hello people,
Well the sound problems is NOT solved which means I need a new earpiece unfortunately
I did everything I could:
1) I booted into recovery & wiped the cache & dalvik cache
2) then I wiped all partitions except SD card & then I wiped the SD card just to make sure the problem wasn't due to anything on my SD card (software related)
3) during all this time my DHD was connected to my PC via the USB cable
4) so then I dloaded one of the latest stock roms from this link http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Ace The file u dload is in .exe so then I was kinda stuck
5) anyway, the Advanced Ace Hack Kit (AAHK) is VERY easy to use, trust me. I remember rooting my DHD in late 2010 & it wasn't easy cuz u had to downgrade the stock rom & then root it but the AAHK (http://tau.shadowchild.nl/attn1/?p=74) is simply a ONE click method provided uve followed the "EFFIN MANUAL" & done the prerequisites.
6) also, if uve done wot I did & are quite stuck then no problem, u can follow one of the options in the AAHK menu & dload a stock rom through it & then flash it (ALL done automatically). All u need is common sense & to be able to read English LOL It's THAT simple...
7) so I dloaded a Vodafone stock rom & booted into it but YET AGAIN the earpiece problem was STILL there.
8) so then I rooted my device once more (again very easy to do, a ONE click method) & installed ARHD 7.04 on it... Everything is top notch except for the earpiece problem. I've dloaded a few videos to help me replace the earpiece. The earpiece itself costs between £5-8 from eBay UK...
I have done the same, the sound problem not solved and decided to replace the ear-piece . Disassembly video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfatoeWbMRk
Please advise the video you have downloaded for ear-piece replacement
and Ebay part is it original. pls advise the link. What about the required tools?
Thanks
Hello i have flashed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2009761 on my lg p350 and its works very good.
Only I have just installed "beats audio installer" and now I have the speakers only a murmur but works with headphones it normal I read that it's back when I only audio drivers new flash and wanted to ask if someone can send me this thus, only the audio drivers for the rom and can explain how I have to do exactly.
I am very grateful if you can help me!
Greetings kackmormel
Flash the rom again without any wipes & you should be back to where you were before 'beats..' you'll not lose your installed apps & data...anyways keep a nandroid backup just in case...
Just want to know why after root wildfire, already try a lot of custom rom, camera during snapshot pic blur, quality bad, before snapshot auto focus already see it on the handphone screen is blur. Sound quality bad.
Unroot and flash back to stock rom also the same. Use revolution to root.
Pls help.
Thanks.
It might sound like I'm not, but I'm serious and I'll say, you didn't spill something on that area...the camera and speaker are right together, maybe if you have kids a sticky finger rubbed something onto into them?
The answer is probably no, it's never something easy, so the obvious thing is software. Perhaps out of all those ROMS you flashed, some files got left behind and are conflicting or conflicted on subsequent flashes. You could try going into CWM and wiping the cache and see if it helps...if not go back into CWM and wipe cache and dalvik-cache (I like to do things one at a time so I know what worked). Some people think that when switching ROMS a person should wipe each cache 2 or 3 times, especially when switching from Cyanogen Mod. You're just wiping caches, whatever needs to build in there at run time will rebuild when you reboot, but you might get rid of a conflicting file or remnant.
That's the short route, the long is to start over, do all the wipes (x3?) and then flash whatever ROM you want and see if that fixes it.
Maybe someone else has more, or better ideas?
This is my friend phone..i have wilpe all and davik + cache..CWM.. most probably is due to flash custom rom..this phone kid got throw before but before flash everything just fine...camera clear, sound ok...my friend notify me then i only realise, i take and compare to another wildfire which is original stock rom really see the different.. After use revolution flash, found the phone charging light can't off if charging the phone during power off, need to remove the battery. Found some forum regarding this issue use unrevoked and flash recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-buzz, then only the problem solve..
I also got flash desire hd,using android revolution HD custom rom too, it's just like stock rom.. everything work fine..sound and camera also good and clear...but try alot of other rom like ICS, jelley bean version 4.0+.. found most of that rom also sound not clear(beast audio), best in ear phone only, camera picture not clear and no full screen during snapshot..video problem ..but mention stable version.. still can't find a rom like revolution HD in 4.0+... all working fine..
Anyway should thank to the programmer ..because its not easy..If any expert know my wildfire issue pls help..appreciate your help..
Ohhhh...I see you're talking about the HTC Buzz: Wildfire. This is the Wildfire S forum. I don't know the Buzz. You might get better focus on your issue if you move your post to the HTC Buzz: Wildfire forums:

I switched to the Honor 7x from my Ascend Mate 2 a few months back, and while I love close to everything about this phone, my headphones are substantially quieter using the headphone jack on this phone. I tried fixing this originally by installing viper4android and/dolby, but neither wanted to work on the stock rom. I then tried upgrading to Android Pie, and they didn't work on that, then I tried Resurrection Remix, Omnirom and Lineage OS, and neither would work on any of those either. (I already used the Morfuz kernel to switch to permissive on each rom, didn't help).
I am about at my wit's end and really don't want to have to carry a headphone amp with me. Have any of you found a fix for this?
I had assumed that it was a limit set somewhere in it's OS or software, but could it be a hardware limit that's can't be bypassed?
There is probably some fancy way by editing system files or flashing something.
Since I'm stuck with a locked bootloader and therefor without root or custom recovery I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
I know it's super nooby to solve it this way but I'm not smart enough to figure out another way. I hope this may help you.
Edit: I blocked the notification and enabled start on bootup, so I it's not bothering me. Boost is set to 8% which works fine for me.

I was using the same app when I was on a stock rom, but had issues with it crashing constantly and having to reopen it. That and you only get a little bit of a boost before it starts clipping from my experience. I am going to do some volume tests with custom roms today and will post my findings here.
