Beats Audio Warning - LG Nitro HD

If you dload and flash ANY of rockodevs beats audio mods, it causes multiple errors in your ROM ranging from unable to change your boot animation up to the system apps crashing and the camera screwing up, leading to a reflash of your ROM after wiping data. Happened to me every time I tried.

Virtuous v1.0.1 problem

So I did a perm. root and followed every single step. I installed the Virtuous ROM from ROM Manager and let it do its thing. It rebooted and started up, but at the begining all sorts of errors pop up and force closing. But every 2 seconds, an error with Swype keeps poping up. Needless to say, I just restored to my backed up ROM.
What did I do wrong?

Did you wipe before flashing ?

Haha that sounds funny.
But, I don't think I did so ill try it again. Thanks.

Yeah, that makes a huge difference. Always wipe when switching roms. Sometimes I like to download them on the laptop and place them on the sdcard, instead of downloading from the phone.

[Q] Anyone had any luck with boot manager?

Hello, i was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the boot manager app?
I know this app is not specifically supporting the wildfire atm but i asked the devs if it would work and they told me that there is some code built in which should theoretically support the wildfire and they are answering my emails quickly(i'm sending them a log later to see if they can help me out) i had a few problems at first with installing a new rom but eventually managed to get a cm7 zip to unpack and created a system, data, cache and a boot.img.
When i try to reboot into the new rom i seem to be getting stuck at the splash screen, has anyone else tried this app before?
Its a paid app (with a licence check on startup, so pirated versions won't work) so im guessing there isn't many that have tried it before with it not being officially supported. I'm pretty sure it will work and i've only played with it for half a day but just wondered if anyone else had any success and new of any shortcuts?
Woohoo success, tried for days with cm7 to get this working but it just wouldn't write the images to my SD card, switched roms to senseonfire (even though the dev told me cm was my best bet) and it worked first time, haven't had a good play with it working as yet so can't really say how stable cm7 is running from my sdcard but its definitely working now, and its as simple as rebooting to switch roms instead of rebooting into recovery restoring a backup then waiting 10 mins for it to boot. I can also restore a nandroid backup to one of the 4 slots.

Booting from SD, that's cool. Having you tried using USB disk drive mode?
Haven't tried yet, I'm away for a few days, pretty sure the boot manger app has dual mount built in though, so anyway I've been using cm7 for the last day running from the SD overclocked to 768 and its good, only getting occasional lag spikes but nothing to worry about.

[Q] Camera not responding. Need help.

I rooted my phone a while back and immediately flashed euroshank's Jellybro CM10. Since then my camera has stopped responding. When I reboot it will open the app once but when I take a picture it freezes and saves a totally black picture to my gallery. It also says "gallery not responding" but I can still open the gallery app. When I try to take a picture in the instagram app it says "Cannot connect to camera". When I restore my backup of stock ics touchwiz it works just fine.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Please help a noob.
What was the install process? More info in your post helps your chance of a good answer. More then likely you need to wipe properly and reflash and make sure you got a good download. All of which you can Google to get a idea of what to do.

Oh, well I have flashed other roms since then it's just thats when it started not working. I have wiped and flashed new roms half a dozen times and I am currently on the latest official CM10 nightly. I am still having problems on this rom.
Re-root the phone and check.
Ya considering you're the only one posting the issue and many including myself aren't having the issue it must be user error. Might be a bad download or maybe a corrupt system wipe data cache and system and then flash cm and then gapps then boot let it sit for 5-10 minutes to let it build it cache and get comfortable then give it a try. If you still have issues that's when you should be posting.

Should this be cause for concern? Long term effect, if any?

I have flashed lots of roms on my friends, relatives and customers T989 (must be close to 20 S2s). Each time, I always followed the developer's direction to the T, i.e., checked, verified MD5, wiped clean and flashed clean, let sit for 12 mins, reboot, and sit for 5 mins, reboot and set up.
So on this particular might, I encountered a rare occurrence that gkt me startled. While reboot from fix permissions in twrp, I noticed that the SD card symbol wouldn't disappear from the notification toggle.
I went into ESFile Explorer, and it said that the "SDCard or USB Storage not properly mounted." So, I pressed the power button for 10 seconds then it reboot but got stuck at the SII International boot animation logo. Had to do battery pull, boot to TWRP, wiped cache/dalvich and fixed permission. After that, it booted normally.
My main concern, or question rather, is tje internal sd/usb storage at risk of "crashing"? Any outlook that anyone can provide would be appreciated.

Sounds like a normal everyday problem after just flashing a new rom to me, pm a dev if you're worried they're awesome people and quick to respond, and know more about this phone than any random who's going to see this thread probably

You don't need to fix permissions after flashing.. and if you're going to don't do before even booting the ROM for the first time. God I can't believe people still can't flash properly.

I flashed properly. The random problem with USB Storage not connected/mountes occurred after everything was settled.

[Q] Slow Boot After Rooting, Unresolved by Restoring Stock Rom

I rooted my S4 and the boot time has grown drastically. The phone displays the black Samsung logo for 132 seconds. Prior to rooting, the whole boot process probably took under 30. I have tried restoring an original rom. I have tried factory reset/wiping cache, etc. I am completely puzzled by this. What additional trouble shooting steps should I try?
Go back completely stock. Just Odin back.

Could it be a wonky partition?

I installed cyanogen via another machine. Boot problem resolved. Guess I need to give the stock ROM I was trying another shot.

Remember coming out of CM requires proper wipes and reset so you don't run into problems.
