There is a post on this forum about rooting the Samsung conquer 4g (sph-D600) however the link for superoneclick is dead. Also there is additional information (in the following link - I can't post links... ) available with instructions to install a recovery rom.

there used to be a time when all cooked rom where in a place on the servers of xdadevelopers - microsoft didnt quite tolarate these "massive walks on the breach of legality" and forced / asked the moderators to remove them roms - thats why you find only links to the related threads containing the roms in the the link i added above!

Well I have looked all over the internet for a forum dedicated to this device and have found nothing.
How is it that a device as popular as this one has no forum of it's own?
Obviously there is modding and disscusions about this device so isn't it about time to put it all into one place?
Would make it so much easier to find information about this device.
I cannot post an external link because I just registered (which was to provide you with the link to help you). So I have outlined how to get to the page which has all the information you will need to get started.
Go to Whirlpool Australia Internet and Technology forum (google it if need be), then add /wik/zte_tablet_v9_optus to the end of the domain to direct to it the page.
I was trying to find a spot to download the modems, and the page with the links to the www(dot)forums(dot)acsyndicate(dot)net are offline. So in order to get to the download links, if you're a new user like me, use Google's cache to view the old download links.
Type "cache:" without quotes and then the link to the forum into Google search.

As a brand new user, I can't post URLs, but at least I can maybe help someone that is having the same problem as I was.
