Just info for those who stilll follows the ColorOS.
Check oppoforums and search for oppo find 2.0.8i (not allowed to post links due to post count)
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm sure a helpfull mod can move it if need be.

Hi - I have both a Universal and a Wizard. For a while now, on my Wizard I've been using a ROM made up of 'best bits' of all the available releases, with all carrier customisations removed - this is released under the name 'Mr. Clean' rom. It's bugless and lightweight. Perfect!
Does anyone release a similar rom for the Universal? Or does anyone prepare one for their own use who might consider sharing? It really would be great to see.
This would be cool
We should do this.
A "Clean" ROM with a CAB set to choose from for each provider.
I would appreciate this greatly - since t-mobile remove some stuff from the blank setup.
Rich
A fast, lean and mean ROM would be awesome. I don't have the time or skills unfortunately.
There is one already. It was made by Jwright. Just don't install the Ext ROM if you really want it to be super clean. Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=55019&sid=7789d445c5b87ea11980c475ab58e2c9
I followed that thread - but the links dont exist.
Could someone upload the T-mobile version of Jwright's ROM to the XDA-Developers FTP site??
If not - email it to me, PM me for my address. I'll host it on my website if someone sends it.
I just tried the thread I posted above and the link works fine. It must be your computer settings.
I am not sure which version is this though. I think he released QTEK, IMATE, and TMOBILE versions. Just use the Ma_Upgrade_No_ID_Tool.
The links to the other topics work OK but the ROM links given in http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=55019&sid=7789d445c5b87ea11980c475ab58e2c9
don't?? There is no such directory on the ftp site????
Exactly - The posts link OK, but the FTP site doesnt contain the ROMS
The link I posted above is the link to the topic with the files you guys are looking for. It should be on the first post of that link, and it works fine on mine.
Yes it does but we're talking about the links to Jwrightmcps modified ROM's... These are missing from the FTP site????
I am now confused. This has been discussed before, someone took off those files from the fttp. Probably someone does not want to share or maybe it took a great chunk of memory storage. That is why "Xanadu" provided us with this alternate download site, but it is the same file, so it does not really matter if we can't find the original posted file by Jwright because someone was gracious enough to share.
I thought the topic was where is Jwright's Modified ROM? I provided a link on where to donload it. Question answered. What is still the confusion? Are you looking for a specific file for a specific device like Jwright promised? If so, he also left instructions on how to use the Ma_Upgrade_No ID file. So just extract the files necessary and rename them, then install.
attached link to application "PocketCM"
this application makes it possible to scroll the contacts with a finger
works really nice
go to: http://www.pocketcm.com for download
enjoy

This is an old version - version 10 is already released in the official thread and the author has expressly asked not to post the binarys in places other then the offical source - it's free and he doesn't require you to register so I see no reason why you wouldn't respect that wish. :S
http://www.pocketcm.com/
"Feel free to share it with anybody. BUT PLEASE DO NOT PUBLISH BINARY ON YOUR WEBSITE, link to mine"
The above is a statement from the creator of this programs thread. I think you need to just post a link to his site, but thats just my opinion.

It says .09 still but if you hover over the link it's for version 10 - he just hasn't updated the text - he mentions the update throughout the site though and in the official thread - just overlooked the title of the link

The link says .09 but it gives .10.
I downloaded the version in the first post in this thread, which installed only my phone no problem. Then I read that we should be using a more current version from the website directly.
I navigated to www.pocketcm.com from my phone and downloaded the new version 0.10. This opened up in my browser (winrar I guess) as 2 files: pocketcm.exe and another file. There doesn't appear to be an installer with this version.
I copied the 2 files into my current Program Files\PocketCM directory and overwrote the current ones (after killing the process to free up the files).
While this worked ok for me and anyone that started with earlier versions, anyone starting now with 0.10 won't be able to install the app properly.
Or am I missing something?

Hello,
I'm seeing people have released cooked ROMs based on 1.97.*, but I couldn't find any official 1.97.* ROMs neither on the forum nor on the wiki. Can somebody point me the related post or wiki page please, if there is any?
Thanks.
Go to HTC download
Klick the download link. On the HTC site. And see what the file name is. cOuse it might be posible they did not chenged the download link name.
The only ROM version I was able to download today from htc.com was a 1.93.* WWE, with the serial number of my device. Is there any other method for accessing official ROMs? I mean, without a serial number?
I think what he's trying to say is this,
Look at the download link for the 1.93 rom and just change the url, you might get luck. so change (for example) http://htc.com/193.rom to http://htc.com/1xx.com.
Edit:
Checked to see the download link for ya, the 1.93 link is this:
http://dl.htc.com/downloadfiles/Rom...igned_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe
edit it to your likings and hope for the best.

i found this searching on google http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2945594&postcount=9
@nilsk123
I understand the method you're offering but I think the way HTC call their ROM update files is making impossible to guess alternative versions. There are too many numbers to play with, just too many possibilities Also, the link created by HTC web site could simply be a symlink or a virtual folder created on the fly according to our serial numbers.
@Weisan
Thanks for the link, appreciated. This ROM looks like created for Vodafone, are there any unbranded 1.97.* updates present in the forum?
I would be interested also, to see if HTC have improved much since the 1.93 ROMS...

Lets not post stuff that has malware etc here at XDA... Anyone interested contact this poster via PM... Closed and moved to Q and A
Hey everyone!
I apologize in advance if there's a simple answer to this question that has been posted a million times, but for the life of me I cannot find one either on the official Sony site (support, Xperia, download, etc. sections) or XDA Developers. There are posts that allude to the same issue (wanting to download stock updates), but none of which pan out. For example user Jozinek posted in another thread they'd update with new versions of firmware, but there's nothing new since Version 50.1.A.10.40. (I'm running 50.1.A.10.51). I've also looked on Xperiafirmware, and they're behind as well. Anyway, I haven't done this stuff since my Samsung Galaxy SII, so there's probably something super-obvious that I'm missing.
I unlocked the bootloader to my XA2 (model H3123) and rooted it, and everything is fine. I'm signed up to the Sony Xperia Care e-mails, which informed me there is a new software update available (v. 50.1.A..13.123). Since I'm rooted, the Software update function on my phone can't even tell that there's a new version, so I can't download & install it that way, and the same thing happens with the Sony Xperia Companion program on my PC.
Finally, the question: Is there a repository or something of official Sony software builds where I can just download the new software file without having to use either of those other two methods, flash it to my phone, and be done with it? I don't want to use a different OS (e.g., Lineage), as I'm used to Sony's. I just want the update.
I did come across the Sony developer site for software binaries for AOSP Pie 9.0 that has a downloadable Zip file, but I have no idea what software binaries are and I'm not even running Android Pie (9.0) on my phone yet anyway. I did find the Xpericheck website (also alluded to in another post titled "Where to download stock ROM"), but the only FTF file I can download is for name "Customized Gel" and CDA "1312-5085", and I don't even know what those are. Furthermore, when I click on the link I am unable to download the file as it's 1.88GB and free downloads through the host (Alfafile) are limited to 1GB (and I don't think it's worthwhile to pay for a sub just for that one file).
If anyone has an answer, or even just a suggestion, please let me know.
Thank you very much, and sorry for the bother and ridiculously long post.
Sincerely,
Dave

Hey bud! Thanks for the reply! Isn't it heckin' late over there?!? I'm in Canada.
Where can I find the appropriate ftf? The only one I've come across is the "CDA 1312-5085 Name Customized GEL" on XperiCheck, which I have no idea is even the "correct" one for my phone. It's a moot point anyway since the ftf download link on XperiCheck takes me to an Alfafile host, where I can't download it because only DLs up to 1GB are free and it's 1.88GB. Pretty silly.
I'm probably not understanding something that's completely obvious so sorry in advance.
EDIT: I think I finally understand--do you mean I can simply do everything (download ftf, flash, etc.) using Flashtool on my PC, is that correct? I believe I misunderstood that your first instruction (download ftf) could also be performed through Flashtool, which I didn't even realize existed. It looks pretty amazing; hopefully I can figure it out.

Flippin sweet! I just downloaded Flashtool, the firmware I wanted, etc. and flashed it to my phone. Worked like a charm. Whoever came up with that is a marvel. Not sure why it didn't show up in any of the searches I did. Thanks so much, Dave! Happy Christmas!
Just use the "Emma". Download it from Sony website.
