I agree. I'll keep an eye out as 4.0.4 would be great but I'm actually quite happy on 4.0.1 so far.

All i did revert from yakju with nandroid 4.0.1 and then reflash original radio for yakjuux relock boot loader i got an ota saying full ota and if you want i could send a picture of my screen.

Always assume good faith.
I recall a while back a guy here reported an OTA, apparently a limited test run of some non-yakju build. There was nearly a lynch mob calling for his head because no one could back up his claim. Until days later when it arrived for everyone else exactly as he described.

Just curious, is the option for NFC back in the settings? With the 4.0.2 OTA it was reported the option had disappeared.
Also, is the market/Play Store working correctly?

Personal Thoughts
The battery life seams to be very good on RC2.
New kernel make this phone amazingly fast.
All credit for this ROM goes to the Cyanogenmod team.
It seems like CM9 RC2 has been taken down from the site. Maybe because it borks the mic?

right on, i was wondering where the build is in relation to where the author is, geo-wize.

Confirmed, this does work.
It also removes transition animations.

True, really people should be hosting their own images anyways instead of leeching off someone else's. There are many free services to host pictures and stuff instead of just copying the link and using it.

Sorry to revive the thread, but I was recently looking for how to resize the image inline with a post. Then I saw this post...
There are many free services to host pictures you own but taking someone else's image and rehosting it on your own account is infringement which is why "leeching" (which is actually called hotlinking and ironically less of a theft) is preferred.
Is there a current way to resize images through tags, code, magic for those of us who do not desire to violate copyrights?
Edit: I started using the hide tag when pictures were too big. It's not ideal, but it solves others being irritated by a large image.

Yeah -.- they do not Work anymore....
and here i looked forward to upload .svg images, and then resize them small enough. for a nice display -.-
don't really feel like creating small thumbnails and upload big pictures and link them.
Is it possible to link images pixel exact (1:1)? Whenever i post a picture with IMG tags its resized/enlarged by the forum. A fullhd screenshot is way larger on the screen of a fullhd display.

This is a recurring bug here on XDA right now, and there is currently no way around it (except for just posting a URL that takes you to the image). The XDA devs are working on it.

Embedding bitmaps into svg seems to work (thx Haldi4803). Not sure if this canvas size of 300x150 can be fixed though.

Edit: No, forget it. Doesn't work either. On my phone with CM11 browser its still scaled to "web size".
Its not a bug though. For most pics, avatars and such this is needed and mandatory for high ppi devices but for some cases an exception would be nice. Something like an [img2] tag or something.

I do not want to promote a particular website, but i found one for myself to host my images.
You can navigate to cloudinary where you will get option to upload images using image link. upload it there so there's no need to download on your device and then you also can use simple codes to resize to whatever resolution you want to. For that I can help you later on, if you would like to try it out. Its pretty easy. you can even do that without my help i know.
But, if you need my help, you'll get my support.

Hey m8 I'm trynna resize some images and I don't see an option to save the resized images so I can get a link or download or something.
I think it's easier to use pxlr online editor and download the result after resizing with ctrl+t.

So, i haven't really updated the OP until now, but I just got the update from Google Play for the first release of the OFFICIAL SwiftKey Flow. Does not require a second purchase. If you've already purchased SwiftKey or SwiftKey 3, you get updated to Flow for free like with previous versions. Only issues with SwiftKey 3 is some words of the English language are missing and it can be quite annoying, also making a typo that it doesn't correct and once you press space it adds it to your dictionary which you have to completely reset D= but at least it works compared to my stock Samsung keyboard won't auto correct after the li3 update considering I'm on jb now lol

I'm so excited for this. I hope it comes out soon. I am using the Android 4.1.2 keyboard which is cool but not as accurate as Swiftkey. Our phone is so big that me myself I like to use just use one hand to text so swype makes it so much easier. Can't wait for this.

That's how it worked for the SwiftKey X to SwiftKey 3 update. They just changed the version number and icon, and users were automatically updated.

No keyboard is perfect... sometimes you have to add your own word. Dictionary.com is a great app!! When they went from Swiftkey X to Swiftkey 3 and had a beta that lasted several months and had at least three beta releases--it was a free upgrade. I see no reason why it wouldn't be again
I'm signed up and have had VIP for about a year. Nothing yet though :/

I just verified my accound and i found i have 1.20 euro to pay. I checked the detailed list and i found that i have 10 sms sent to nr. 00919560345888.I found another threads on another forums that says this an India number (UEMK4 is India rom), and other ppl that says the india rom is sending unauthorised texts I saw that everytime when i flashed the stock rom, the cost advances with 12 cents.
Does anyone else have this problem?

It happened the first day i installed DrKetan´s ROM v6 (MK4) :7/12/2013
Just only one SMS to the same number you said :00919560345888.
I realized 2 days after.
I don't think its an Indian number 'cause the country code for India is +91.I am also using mk4 firmware and doesn't face this issue. Maybe there's some spyware installed in your phone.

i dont have any spyware. Everytime i formatted system + internal, and i use old and legit apps. Now after some days, the cost remains at 1.20e. If i reflash, it will be 1.32e, i bet. :/
This seems strange.
If you are rooted,use the greenify app to hibernate apps that are running in the background.See if this solves your problem.
It's a serious issue.
It seemingly didn't happen with me on DN3 but if it would I would inform the ROM developers about it.

when you're dialing international, country code can be prefixed by '00' or '+' sign
What did it really send? There is a SMS log that you can see, yes?

Hmm..then it sure is an indian number..a mobile number to be exact 'cause it has 10 digits in it.91 is the country code for india.
But the thing is I plus a number of users have installed the indian stock 4.3 plus the roms based on it,and they haven't faced such issues otherwise threads would be full of this issue...plus samsung would have pulled the update back if there would be this type of issue.Don't you think??

I am just guessing, but perhaps some users do not have access to the sent/received SMS record. In my country, only people who has post-paid subscription can get detailed billing records, but those with pre-paid subscription can't.
Well did a little search and here is the result:Its nothing but Samsung's way of registering the device after the firmware installation.
This isn't exclusive to note 2 only but also s3,s duos etc.

Any official statement from Samsung about this? ALL samsung android?
So far I have only flashed DN3 ROM, yet quite a number of factory reset were done too. I can only check my phone bill next month to see if such SMS is present.

They don't have a sophisticated software like nsa does
Ha ha..I m sure that they wouldn't invest in these type of softwares.Their focus is really in (b)eating Apple these days :laugh:

I´ve flashed many roms this month, Samsung and AOSP based and always full-wiping, just checked my monthly bill and no SMSs were sent at all.

Never used Dr Ketan´s rom so maybe that´s the reason. Don´t really know my carrier´s policy about international SMSs.

They are sending the update out in waves from today until July 30th
So if you don't get the notification, or you keep checking and it still says not available..you will know why.. they pool a group of base subscribers and notify in chunks, to regulate server traffic. You will eventually get it, but if you are impatient, someone here will find a way to integrate via flashable zips or into a rom.
Also keep in mind if you are rooted or have a modified system rom you they wont show either, you have to be 100% stock for OTA Updates ( in general)

Well its kind of hard to explain in text.. so theres a video that sums it up in under a minute.
Basically it allows your 4GLTE to tap from multiple access points and even "borrow" from other carriers like VZW/ATT/TMO to give you burst speed.

Getting Network error on my lte connection when trying to update manually. I hope it makes touchwiz smoother. Getting a bunch of launcher fc and switched to apex launcher

Turn off the wi-fi only update option?
Hmm. I updated four hours ago but just had a spontaneous reboot while in my pocket. Never had that happen before.
just took the update myself, be a few days before we notice any difference Id imagine
Just updated, and am seriously disappointed. Very laggy, almost unusable imo. Hold off for now

Sorry you had this experience. I am going to let mine soak for a fee days with the update. Not rooted and it seems fine for now.

did you wipe your cache partition in recovery? that often times helps clear up these issues, I was getting awful battery life when I first updated to OF7, took me wiping the cache partition two days in a row before I started seeing good battery life.
and yes tether without root does still work, but I personally had to go back in and edit the APN settings

No im not rooted, just did OTA update. Thats interesting, with each update i havent had to redo the APN setting at all but seems some do.

Update: I disabled Samsung+ and did a reboot and seems back to normal, whew, that was scary, lol, so not sure if it had to do with new app or just needed the reboot.

I'm no longer rooted either, you do not need to be rooted to clear your cache partition in the stock recovery

easy peasy,
1. power off your dwvice
2. hold volume UP, home and power buttons until the Samsung/Android logos come up then release all three (don't panic, it will take a few seconds before you see Android laying on his side with an exclamation point)
3. when the recovery opens, use the volume UP/DOWN buttons to choose "wipe cache partition"
4. choose the option by pressing the power button (MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE RIGHT OPTION)
5. choose "reboot system now" wiping only takes a few seconds
and you're done!
