Can't send Text Messages

When I try to send a text message I get the following error.
"The message could not be delivered due to a temporary network setup error. Please try later. Error 2112".
How do I fix this?
I'm using the most current nightly rom.

It's a technical issue on your network providers side. How long have you had this issue?

CM 10.1 doesn't have this feature for the phone from my understanding. My phone doesn't reboot or anything. Also I wouldn't just blurt out stuff like that, I would post a little information on what that does for people who don't know.
My phone is still producing this problem up to this day. I can make phone calls, but cannot enjoy the convenience of texting.

Speaking if lacking information, you forgot to say you are running cm10.1 in the op. That could of helped.
Solution: flash back to a tw rom. And follow instructions giving. That dialer code resets your radios , it'll restart you phone.

What do you mean by "tw rom"?

For the love of everything dear, if you have the cojones to be running a CM10 ROM, you should at least know that TW refers to TouchWiz, as in the stock Samsung TouchWiz ROM.
Have you called in to customer service and have them either re-provision your account and or profile or just see if it's a tower issue in your locale, etc etc?
This past week, for 2 days, i couldn't make or receive calls or SMS but data worked. I didn't come on XDA and start a thread BEFORE calling in to C.S and finding out that it was a network/tower issue in my area/zip code (and they gave me a $10 credit for my trouble).

First, knowing what TW means isn't a requirement for you to root your device. But due to the situation, I know what TW is now. Secondly, wouldn't anyone with half a brain call Customer Service? To elaborate, no it's not a tower issue, it's specifically related to something on the device that is revoking it's ability to access my data.. maybe a username or password? Thank you for your abysmal support LordLugard.

Really..... it's a common assumption you know the at the very least what tw and aosp mean, if you know how to flash stuff.

Nobody's going to help you "wipe" afterwards. You're grown up enough. Do your own due diligence and give more details before bashing people. Did you mention that you tried any remedy like having your account re-provisioned or that you gave C.S a try, no...whatever..

I can add support for LS990/VS985 but well, from my experience with G2, people will spam the thread with CDMA faulty (such as MMS issue, Roaming icon, Network mode option) and dont know that they're using an international base which support mostly for GSM devices. So maybe I will add support for them later or provide separated patch for those who want.

Man its cool I was on Verizon and used on g2 no issue with using a different text mess apk to send mms.. Please do you had the best g2 ROM in my opinion. I also can test and provide logs if needed.

I also have issue with MMS, VVM and others, Im on european network with a VS985, and if spam is the problem, we only need to add a new thread in Verizon G3 section
I think this phone will never get a working international version

Is it ok if i make a torrent when i have downloaded the file? I got pretty good internet speed.

Im not sure how xda's repository works so i worry about downloading before you are able to check it and verify its good.

@Cloudyfa Nice to see you here. I am still using your rom on my wifes G2. Thanks for your time and effort. Also in G2 & G3 power key ends call only only works while the screen is on. Do you know what to change to be able to end call without screen turned on by proximity sensor.

Holy crap, there is some serious changes from the official rogers build. Can swipe through tabbed settings, everythings faster, lg kb doesnt lag. Theres a ton of new lock screen animations. Not sure how much of this is cloudy or just changes in this L build but either way i wouldn't have them without you dev so thanks!

its worked for me, just applied to the coupon to my Netflix account successfully.

Worked for me as well! just enter the numbers only.. no back slashes or spaces in between.

Registration process went smooth but I have yet to receive email indicating the promo code. I do have a registration confirmation number..
About how long did it take to receive email for you guys that have this promo redeemed?

Also registered with no problem. Left the last two digits of the IMEI number out (the numbers that follow the slash) and it worked the second time I tried.
Got code within minutes and used it right away.

Think I didn't see the email since I had some other promotion emails. All good now. Thanks for this thread and T-Mobile/Samsung.

I have quadruple checked. I even used the dialer code to check and see if maybe my settings menu was screwed up. i have no idea why it isnt working. Of course, i emailed their customer support. Zero response so far. Is it a code that they email you?

I was able to succesfully get my promo code the day I got my device (Thursday 04-02-15).
You can copy and paste your IMEI number and MAC address from your device settings app under About > Status and scroll down.

Basically asked for my IME and WiFi Mac addresses. Asked if I was a previous or new Netflix customer. Submitted the info and came back with an instant congratulations you qualify. Gave me a code. Went to the Standard Netflix site and clicked on gifys and promotions i believe. Inputted the number and a screen popped up showing the $100+ credit along with my credit card info.
There was NO waiting for E-Mails or anything like what some here are reporting. Basically was a piece of cake that took little time. Not sure why all the fuss here if you are typing in correct IME and WiFi mac address numbers. Just my 2c:victory:

JUST FYI, if you go to the about Device section of settings on your phone, then status, you can press and hold on the IMEI and it will copy the text. Use CHROME browser on your phone (The stock Samsung one doesn't work for some reason) and paste it directly into the IMEI area of the form. Then hit the app switcher button to the left of the home button and do the same thing for the Wifi Mac address and paste that in on the form. I did this for 2 phones and this is the only way I got it to work.

Well its kind of hard to explain in text.. so theres a video that sums it up in under a minute.
Basically it allows your 4GLTE to tap from multiple access points and even "borrow" from other carriers like VZW/ATT/TMO to give you burst speed.

just took the update myself, be a few days before we notice any difference Id imagine

did you wipe your cache partition in recovery? that often times helps clear up these issues, I was getting awful battery life when I first updated to OF7, took me wiping the cache partition two days in a row before I started seeing good battery life.
and yes tether without root does still work, but I personally had to go back in and edit the APN settings

I'm no longer rooted either, you do not need to be rooted to clear your cache partition in the stock recovery

easy peasy,
1. power off your dwvice
2. hold volume UP, home and power buttons until the Samsung/Android logos come up then release all three (don't panic, it will take a few seconds before you see Android laying on his side with an exclamation point)
3. when the recovery opens, use the volume UP/DOWN buttons to choose "wipe cache partition"
4. choose the option by pressing the power button (MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE RIGHT OPTION)
5. choose "reboot system now" wiping only takes a few seconds
and you're done!

I got the notification but when I try to install after flashing back to stock,it downloads then fails on step 1

A quick Force Stop and Clear App Data will generally do the trick.

Don't know why, but after the update, my second fingerprint that I have setup can't be recognized to unlock. The first is still good.
*update, after a delete and doing a new scan, it seems fine now.

Which one is stock razer?

The one with more light is stock camera app from the razer phone
Bsg is a ported pixel camera apk improves photo quality of this phone

Which BSG port are you using?
I tried some ports where the selfie-cam didn't work or is laggy as hell.
MGC_5.1.016_7.0+C2API_v.1.3_AllinOne.apk seems most stable for me.

Razer Support tweeted about this update to me however as im on Three i guess i wont be getting the update for a few days

Is there a way i can use the stock image from Razer rather than have the shipped ThreeUK Branded version? Guess those of us running the branded version will now have to sit and wait for Three to push out the update.

try a few weeks and that's just for the one before Xmas they ain't even started on this one yet my chat with 3 support.

They need to get the finger out. Some of the software bugs on this device are actually starting to seriously bug me... and this isn't even a custom OS where I know I've done stuff to it, so I put up with it.

FIngers crossed they skiped the previous updates but ive already warned them if my phone hasnt been updated by march i will be changing my phone / breaking out of the contract as they have failed to provide any support for the razer phone which in its current non patched state is not secure enough to be used for day to day use with someone with data on the phone i need secure and protected. A month free of charge and if not patched ill probally end up going back to iOS i know its apple but its alot less hassle free keeping it upto date and secure.

I got my device swapped with three after 2 months of owning her, I definitely had a defective unit - speaker crackle, vibration motor, camera issues etc
When I switched this new one on I got a notification for an system update, is this what the non carriers received? (IMG)

So I realise this is just the first update everyone else got....
Well one down, one to go, anyone else on 3 get this?

Whats the build number? its a bit blurred out on my browser it does look like the one that went out over the holiday season in december.
