We need more info. What were you running before and what have you done so far?
Also, did you do a full wipe while in CWM recovery before trying to flash the rom?

You are not supposed to use darkside wipes with CWM 6. Odin flash your recovery tar file. If that doesn't work you may have to Odin the stock ROM.

I have 5.0.2.7 cwm, and if i install cm 10.1 or 10.2 it bootloops, i also installed UVMC6 radio for those roms. Issue is that i cant install other recovery when i try to install it says aborted, or using odin its just dont send error. any help fast?
you CWM is outdated bro and stick to 4.2.2 ROMs the newest 4.3 has issues for the moment, GRAB TWRP from here http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/101 load it up through odin and flash that........ your CWM does not flash these newer ROMs, if you want to stay on CWM then you have to upgrade it to a newer recovery ??? what else are you stuck on bro

U need to get on newest twrp, I been on 2.6 and currently run a 4.3 and have flashed everyone that's been built, no issues at all
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
I would try TWRP too. Just download the goo manager app, and flash TWRP. It should be easy.
right ima cut to the chase
i used to use cyanogen mod 10 but wanted a official rom from sam mobile so i flashed via odin and cocked up my note 2 n7100
now i can get into recovery and download mode and i have flashed the same cm10 via tw recovery and it hangs on boot animation
i then wiped and flashed via recovery SSHD rom and it also hangs at boot animation so what do you guys think is wrong?
i need this fixed it cost way too much to just thow in the junk draw espcially since i cant work anymore.
thanks
-FatBoyNate
When you change your rom you need to wipe data from recovery.

Always flash custom rom through custom recoverys only (not from stock rom). Flash TWRP or CWR or Philz recovery first and then flash custom rom.
After flashing custom rom or stock rom, first wipe data and cache (as above said) before rebooting.
sent from my GT-N7100. Press thanks if I helped..

get into recovery flash this file http://d-h.st/fWr u will loose evrything from internal memory, now after it reboot to recovery just flash your rom but dont reboot after installation.
first click fix permission
then wipe cache and dalvik atleast twice
then reboot!
it should load the rom fine, and i would suggest to stay with philz recovery and create a backup of efs and rom both the terminal way and through recovery too

I hope u are rooted and have a custom recovery installed if yes then its a script to clean wipe the rom to start a fresh install better known as dirty flash so when u flash the zip it will wipe ur cache, dalvik, system on recover and will automatically reboot to recovery then u can proceed wth any custom rom u want the latest philz recovery is recommended.i am using my phn yo reply and already 4am morning here so be sure what you are doing , give complete info of ur phn status as wht u hv done till now if u have all as mentioned abv then u r good to go and flash, but in ur case the flash of the file was not successful so u can manually wipe all mentined above and procced as instructed.
Its an instruction for custom rom and recovery if u have stock then just wipe cache and dalvik and try booting up.
Off to sleep
If you are unsure of what u r doing then try to get hands on odin and flash stock rom ,as messing up to much may damage ur pit partition

Thank you so much. All is well now. :highfive:
Using CWM to flash the ROM, I updated CM10.0 to CM10.1.2. After that I could no longer get into recovery mode. It's as if CWM is just not there.
What can I do about this?
Thanks for any help.

Seniors Pls help!
I was on stock ROM till now and one fine day my Note 2 suddenly switched off and since then its in bootloop. I tried everything(almost), flashing the latest firmware from sammobile, rooting, custom ROMs...nothing is working! The custom ROM and Bootloader installs using odin end with 'SW REV. Invalid magic string' or 'SW REV. check fail'.
Please suggest and point in the right direction.
pickup a stock rom first and flash it.
then, install any rom

ok i try but i have already tried with CWM and didn't work and also i have tried flash 4.3 with .pit file to perform a repartition but nothing...
Do this flash latest twrp or philz recovery wipe everything flash phantom only and reboot recovery than wipe cache and dalvik cache flash rom again only now reboot to system , if it doesn't work than try older version of twrp or philz supporting 4.3
