Do you already own the device? If so why don't you try flashing it and see if it does work?

Not yet. I think i will receive within 1 week.

I have the official baseband flashed and it seems to work fine for me, just flash the normal one if you're still on the docomo one

Does "baseband" mean "radio"? if so, can you please specify which version of radio you actually using?
Thanks a lot!

Bell galaxy nexus vs international version

Other than the Yakju issue, is there any difference between the two? I am interested in knowing the hardware difference like the quality of the SAMOLED screen, radio reception, etc And it is possible to flash the Bell one to Yakju just like the other Nexus, correct?
No difference at all and yes the bell version can be flashed to yakju (i did it)

Thank you! So there are no known problems specifically found in the Bell version? I'm still debating whether I should switch to Bell. Are there any rumors that Rogers and Telus will release a better version in January? 32GB internal storage for example?
hmmm there is a diffrent yakju is google the other ones are samsung

You have a GSM version
If you don't know you should be flashing roms
Frankly, political correctness and neutrality is all nice, but at this point calling the Verizon Galaxy Nexus "CDMA Galaxy Nexus" is more confusing than useful.
The only way you can have a CDMA version is if you have a phone which has "Verizon" written on its rear battery-cover.
So quick steps to identify GSM model: Look for the Verizon-logo. If it isn't there, you have a real, proper GSM phone.
You've got a few posts and have even helped out some people. How is it that you can't figure out which type of phone you have?
Settings->about phone should be your starting place here.
If you bought it in Australia, it is GSM. Australia hasn't had a CDMA network for a long while.
Also to double check, go into settings -> about phone and build number? See if it is maguro (GSM) or toro (CDMA). I have AOKP flashed already so this may be slightly different. You can always download Android System info from the market

Which phone should I switch to?

Okay so I got my galaxy nexus a couple days ago after looking at a lot of positive posts in the galaxy s2 forum. I love everything about the phone but the network is just effed. I got a strong signal on my sgs 2 almost everywhere which is not the case with this phone. I have tried three radios and different roms but nothing seems to fix it. All other connections work perfectly so I don't think something is wrong with the antenna. What do you guys suggest I should do?

Try flashing the various radios in the Dev section, the UGLA one's are made for CA I believe.
Switch to the white nexus, maybe your carrier is racist

Try switching it out for another Nexus, maybe you got a lemon?

Yes, the M at the end of the model number is added to show that its a Canadian device. It is still a nexus and can be flashed to your hearts content.

Difference of Korean and International version??

Hello all,
I know its a busy time for GNex forum but here i am an upcoming new member who cant wait to join with this...
I am buying a new GNex and i think its the Korean version which comes with an extra battery and a back cover...I just want to know whats the difference between this Korean version and International version?
Also, it has any difference in the firmware and updating of it?? Like updates come later and such
Any help would be really appreciated

As far as i know there are only 3 variants, i9250 (maguro) verizon lte (toro) sprint lte (toroplus) so if its a 3g gnex you're safe.
All Google images should be compatible if it's i9250

Sch are carrier locked and if anything you'd know it's sch if it has dual Sim, or some TV app on it. If I were you ask them to send a screenshot of the settings->About Phone and look at the model number.

Korean versions are 100% maguro, so you can just unlock the bootloader and do whatever you do. Its hardware is the same as international version

Model Number doesn't tell you anything but Galaxy Nexus
The Korean gnex, whether its from sk telecom or from kt, has exactly the same hardware as i9250.
The only difference is that It comes with yakjukr instead of yakju.
I am using shw-m420s (sk telecom variant) with yakju factory image flashed to get earlier ota updates, and it works flawlessly as expected.
