Actually, RC3 is compiled by eoghan.
@OP - you should REALLY use RC1 / RC3. Real stable stuff. 7.1 is too old now.
Hi all ! i have got some problems with my htc one x after flashing rom and kernels..
My current rom is ICE COLD JELLY V1.5 and with kernel 2.6.39.4 ncx
my question is about the battery falls quickly! As i use the rom in version1.3, i got a good battery with fall 1% in 5mins..
however, now. my phone's battery falls 1% in only one minutes!
before I flash ICE COLD JELLY V1.5.. I tried to flash Android Revolution HD v9.4.1 / CM9/ CM10 most of them falls 1% in one~two minutes..
i think my phone is wrong with the kernel.. may be i didn't wipe all the cache before i flash the new roms or kernels!(But every time before i flash them, i will double wipe in recovery! And also double wipe in the advance option (i mean wipe the battery cache and the other one). Anyone have idea about my phone?
One more question, i can't use the setcpu or even the rom control to underclock my phone.. It has no effect even i set the clock about min51 max 760 mhz.. it still run as smooth as the 1500mhz.
I am really annoying! Can anyone help me? I just buy my phone last month with the first time using smartphone

Okay, first of all: Relax!
Once you have flashed a kernel and/or a new rom the phone needs to settle, it usually takes a couple of days to do so. But once it has settle you'll be noticing improve battery-life, less heat and improved smoothness. Do make sure that you're using the appropriate kernel and that it has been repacked.
I ve rooted my one v, i use all in one tool by hasoon...

Fastboot flash the correct boot.img that is meant for the ROM version.
CM boot.img for CM based ROMs
Sense boot.img for Sense based ROMs.
WiFi doeant have any problems its just that you didn't flash the kernel

Hi guys
I have this galaxy w which I had the stock rom with gingerbread.
I was searching for a custom rom for the phone and saw that there were cm9 cm10 and cm11.
I installed the new cm11 by arco68 but I'm having problems with the battery with greenify already installed.
During the night when I was asleep in 3 hours used 10% of my battery.
I'm new in roms and android development, so can anyone help me and tell me the differences between each cm version?
Any version is more lighter with the battery?
What can I do improve the battery use?
Thanks in advance
Try CM9

Apparently Google claimed that 4.4 KitKat is designed for low-end phones. So use CM11
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!
XDAing from a N7105 powered by Illusion ROM.
Sent from a small country called Singapore.
P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA
for me its cm9 or cm11
For me now the best battery saving ROM + kernel is CM 9 and hurtsky's kernel, it is just awesome, if you need battery then this is the right combination for you
CyanogenMod 9 + Hurtsky's Kernel.
and update Playstore Service 4.1.32

Just wondering, since Kitkat is optimise for low RAM, does cm9 consume large amount of ram?

Im confused, I still see many reports indicating high battery drain on CM11.
btw, currently using "CM09 (EOL final) + Hurtsky's Kernel REV10" but want to know if I would have better options for extended battery performance.
thanks in advance, regards

Hi, I am new to installing ROM, I have study about 3 days and decided to apply darkCM11 with khan kernel, as you mentioned,
I installed CM11 and it worked, but The device was warm and battery drained fast, I installed it again with following tuterials and format sdcard0 this time, it get better but the main problem is to install/flash another kernel or update like khan kernel or philz touch, they are failed with status 7 ,
I tried to removed assert line from updater_script but it didn't work, It seems the os is now heavier than these works and I am confused right now,
please help me :
1- what to do first, should I install CM11 from scratch ?
2- for istalling khan kernel should I install Philz touch? and if so, what I should to do with the status 7 problem
I have installed CMR 6.0.4.5 and it works,

Still got issues?
I can send you instructions via pm. Just tell me if you need...
hey,
listen, i've installed few roms in the last 2 weeks, flashed 2 recoveries version,
this is the roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588495
and the second which im using now:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214042
from some reason, I prefer the CM 10.1, he works faster, more over, the CM 11 is not stable as CM 10.1 because it's newer,
When I was on stock rom my battery performance was much better,
My battery in 100% finished totaly after one phonecall or even taking picture with flash light on.
I buoght new battery from ebay, it's shipping right now to me and I hope it will fix the problem.
I have some questions:
1. which rom is better right now? (cm10.1 or cm11)
2. why the battery drains so fast? is that overclocked roms?
3. Do I have to download stock rom for my country? why is that matter? Im from israel and I think that in the stock rom there are apps of the Cellular operator (cellcom) and i hate that, i want clean stock android, I dont want these dirty apps and heavy widgets.
4. which rom is best for the battery performance?
thanks a lot!

I recently used:
Mokee OS 04/11 + KhaN Kernel 2.0 = 100% stable
Paranoid Android 4.3 BETA1 + KhaN Kernel = Just installed a day ago, but seems stable and the fastest KitKat rom yet.
Keep in mind to configure kernel settings for better performance and battery life and disable pocket detection / WLAN notification / auto sync / IMPORTANT: silly google background services using "disable service".
IMO i prefer CM 10.1 because its very fast, and stable, i think Kitkat is not ready yet !!
However im using a 2450 mah battery on CM 10.1 and geting good battery lifee, but if u use the stock batery with 1500 mah, CM 10.1 wont last much , so u need to go with stock or Kitkat
What's the point about KitKat is not ready yet? Performance is better than Jellybean as far as I tried nearly every rom available
