Hi
since 18:00 pm (gmt+1) the website seems to have some cookies/script problems or something else. read markers don't work, I even replied to a PM and there is no traces. but not only that, bandwidth seems low too.
I'm sure this is not related to me or my pc as I don't get that issue in any other website
regards
edit : seems fixed

Hi Guyz,
Sorry if this is not the place to post something like this but I read nothing in the FAQ that posting stuff like this is not allowed.
Anyhow, I have a working Qtek 9000 (t-mobile edition) but it has 1 annoying flaw: Every once in a while (sometimes frequent, sometimes not once in a few days) it won't start when I click on the start button. The only thing left to do is then to reset it. Maybe it is just a software/OS issue, maybe it is hardware related. I don't know anymore.
Anyhow... Maybe someone is interested in owning a second qtek? One to try stuff on? One just for the spare parts?
Please private msg me if you are interested otherwise I'll just try to sell it here locally.
Cheers,
Reinier
Right... I just read in a private message from Clemsyn to me that the issue of the not booting up might be solved with Pocket Hack Master. By Setting the speed of the processor back (optionally only when turning off the machine) to 312mhz solves the not waking up issue.
Not sure if this is a workable solution (maybe others have better solutions) but just to let you guys know too.

Usually get a 1 month return policy in store. That's what there is in the UK.

I had the same problem too....
But after hard resetting I installed all the apps that I've used earlier...
The problem appears sometimes...
What apps have you installed mainly, that involves hardware control???

Hi everyone..
I have a problem with my Desire I'm hoping someone here can answer a few questions about.
The camera and flash have stopped working. If I launch the camera the phone just displays a black screen, back wont work and the only way out is the home button. If I launch the flashlight, everything appears OK, except it doesn't turn it on, the on screen controls are all there though and act like everything is working. Then when I'm browsing the internet or FB, the phone sometimes flashes the light.
The thing is I live in Iceland, and the service agent here sends everything HTC out to Denmark to get fixed, but since I bought my phone in Norway they cant help me. So I have no access to service on the phone.
My question is does this sound more like a hardware or software problem to you, and do you think I could fix this by rooting and installing f.x. CM7? The only other reasonable option I have is buying a new phone, which I'd rather avoid if at all possible.
Can you help?
Reflash it using the PM99IMG.zip method, it's the most efficient method to get back. If that doesn't fix it, it's a hardware issue.
What's the "branding" on your Desire?
Thanks for the answer, I'll take a look at that. It's unbranded, I bought it that way, haven't fiddled with anything yet.
<edit>
You wouldn't be able to point me to where I can get some information on the PM99IMG.zip method, would you?
Get the RUU from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869048
Then go to this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275632
Read this section "[7]RUU WITHOUT USB CONNECTION"
If you're not rooted, you probably have "IF YOU'RE S-ON, START FROM [PHASE2]"
By the way, read that entire thread. it has a lot of good info.

Well you can try with just the EXE, maybe it'll work. and you may have to make a gold card.

i can turn the GPS and i will see that my location is not right
somtimes its like 50 km away from were i realy am / sometime i saw that my phone is moving in diffreant location while im sitting at home
did some one have the same problem in that rom or it might be a hardware problem ?

Try some apps that update your agps like gps test or something plus from what i understand you antenna is in the back cover so make sure all the contacts are clean not bent and touching the back also try maybe making a full backup and try another rom it may be a isolated issue with ure setup and rom

Ive not heard of any issues on wrless charge hurting gps
Hello, I am one of the Pixel 6 Pro users that updated to January patch hoping that the data disconnection will finally be fixed.
Unfortunately, the issue still persits - where I completely lose GSM/LTE data completely for 30seconds / 1 minute / 2 minutes.
But the good news is that I have managed to capture modem logs when the disconnection occurs, however I don't have the necessary knowledge to read through it and pinpoint the issue.
If there is any developer out there that is willing to help and have a look at this logs, please contact me with a private message here and I will provide the logs uploaded on pastebin ( I don't wish to list the link public for privacy concerns ). I have already send those to Google via the feedback form but nobody answers ... and I lost faith in them completely.
Thank you in advance!

Feedback forms are not meant to get an answer back. If you want to talk to someone, you need to open a support ticket, explain your case and they will probably ask you to send the files again. Those files then would be attached to your ticket and sent to the responsible devs. In the end, you already did that.
You could also ask for an escalation in your case, to talk to someone with more brains than a customer rep agent, but it's unlikely that you will actually get ahold of someone responsible for the connectivity development situation. After so many reports out there in the World Wide Web, I'm pretty sure that Google is aware of the problem. It's a shame that they need that long to act on it.
Hello, bumping this old thread, I have managed again to capture the modem.log when the mobile data disconnection occured. If someone is willing to have a look and provide some feedback you can go here:
Modem log Pixel 6 Pro - Pastebin.com
Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
pastebin.com
I noticed the mobile data drop happened at around 23:02 (according to logs time) where the signal completely dropped (had an X with no signal). This usually recovers after 1 min - 1min30'.
I am really curious in the end if I have a hardware issue with the Exynos modem or if this is a software bug.
Looking forward in hearing from someone with knowledge on this!
Thanks

wondering if you've ever experienced an issue with Google's "Escalated" support. I have. Since May last year. I've sent logs, detailed the issue for 4 months. (Play System date not changing after being updated).
They finally had to "close the case" when Android 12 was released and said I would need to open another case.
People have nowhere to turn when they have an issue that they are willing to help Google solve. Unless you open an IssueTracker, but even then it's futile.

The only way to know if you have a hardware issue is to reflash Android (January update) factory image (not ota). on all slots/partitions (best way is using the Flash Tool). And changing your SIM card.
If it happens after that, 99% chance it's an issue at a system-level (modem firmware, hardware etc). and from my experience, after using the Flash Tool, and contacting support, they'll send you an Advanced replacement (and in some cases a refund if requested).
Support is trained to look at issues and deal with them in a way that puts the onus on the customer to 'validate' a warranty claim. or they'll just ask you to send it in for repair which is silly on a device that costs 1300$CAD ( and only a few weeks/months old).
*note: multi-quotes does not seem to work on Brave browser (android, with ad blocking disabled). if someone knows a fix, please let me know.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am considering doing a complete reflash of the system image as per your advice (I will need a backup phone as not all my apps can be backed up by android).
Right now I am in talks with a representative from the "device support" department, I don't know if this matters. I know there is also the "store support" dept., do you think they might handle my case differently?
For anyone interested I will attach a screenshot with some answers they provided me today (I will also attach a screenshot with my questions, for context). Keep in mind that I have provided full device logs prior to these emails, as requested by them.
It looks interesting to me that they are not excluding a hardware issue at this point. In their defense, it sure looks like they are having trouble identifying this random connection bug - since it only seem to affect a few.
I will keep this thread updated, depending on how the situation evolves.

Well you have a few options. 1) Sell it. 2) Get a replacement from them and deal with customer service hell which your in the middle of. and 3) use the flash tool.
You'll get some of the best support on this sub. Google still has no idea what is causing some of the mobility issues (maybe they do and it's a design flaw who knows). But if you can help them resolve the issue that would be great but they'll need a ton of logs from your phone (detailed logs).
