ROM? Android Revolution HD or Open Kang # 26 - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

As I am in the process of getting my Nexus Rooted, I can't really decide which ROM to go with. I wan't fast and stable. Im leaning more towards Rev HD but I like the customization and theming options in Open Kang #26.
Which rom are you using and why?
Thanks.

AOKP because it got swagger

ARHD because it's stable.
i use ARHD with james bond kernel, it's been 2 months now and still no crash.

Hows your battery life and performance on that combo??

That would depend on what variant you got. Is it Verizon, sprint, or gsm. If you got Verizon Xenon HD with the glados kernel has been fantastic for battery life and performance.

almost all the custom ROM are unstable at the moment. I am using stock for now, but if you want custom ROM right now, I really like aokp black bean ROM. It's not hundred percent full featured, but it is quite stable

If you want CM10, look at this. I like it, althogh I still go with CM9.

Your daily ROM?

I'm just curious of what ROM you guys are using as a daily driver for your galaxy nexus
I personally use Black Jelly Bean (based on aokp) because I love the true black theme and the inverted gapps
Also I find it one of the most stable ROM out there and battery is pretty solid too!
I wanna here from you guys!

I've tried several but always return to liquid, its the only one I've found that includes all the features I got used to on ICS. Love the theme of black bean but will wait til aokp incorporates more features into JB.

Rasjellybean. Best AOSP ROM out there, in my opinion.

JellyBro nightly very happy
I have been on paranoid android and I like it so far. Forget which kernel I am running. Under about phone it just says unavailable lol. Good battery life so far. Smooth too. tried aokp, bamf and code name android.
Been looking to switch it up though... anyone have a suggestion for a ROM/kernel combo that has a decent amount of features and customization without sacrificing battery??

Liquid/trinity. Auto sync mobile data and auto brightness on the whole time and I just did 21 hours with 4½ display, will add screenshots from laptop in morning.
I wanted a change so I'm now trying rasbean jelly with trinity kernel. As long as battery holds up the same I'll probably stick with this for a few weeks.

I've switched my ROM to official aokp nightly I do like the inverted apps, but I found updates to be to slow so now, I have nightly aokp overclock to 1.4 and still around 4 hours of screen on time!

New to Gnex

I just picked up my VZW Galaxy Nexus. I came from an LG Revolution. Wasn't too bad with the custom rom and kernal. So far I have tried a couple of roms and am using the Affinity with Franco kermal. Running great. Any better suggestions on a rom? I have messed with the color controls on the Franco app but still have a slight blueish tint. Any suggestions on that? So many choices, so confusing. Not used to so many options.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Hey a fellow ex lg revo member hey I came from the revo about 4 months ago and I have tested a lot of ROMs but the only one I used constantly day in and day out is Paranoid Android the latest update is 2.13 and I'm loving it
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium App
There sure are a lot more choices with the Gnex than with the Revolution. I am thinking about trying the CNA 3.5 rom.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Here is a shizload of different color options to try. You'll find one that you like I'm sure! :good:

CNA is very nice but I would highly recommend snap black, based off of AOKP

[Poll] [Toro] What ROM are you running as your daily driver?

Like the title says, this isn't about what's "best". It's just to try to get an idea of metrics. As far as I know there's no one tracking how popular any given ROM is, and this won't go a long way to help, but I'm curious.
Please don't check "Yes this is a question" for polls in General. Qs go in Q&A. Edited title.
Thanks
FNM
Huh, I'm really surprised there aren't more CyanogenMod users coming through.
I'm running slimbean 3.1 as my daily driver. Its android 4.1.2, but its smooth and everything works! The battery life is excellent as well!

From what I've seen CM is more widely used on manufacture skinned devices. Nexus users don't need CM as much as rest of the android world.

DarkPA 2.54 is my daily driver and will be for a while. I keep trying 4.2+ ROMs and I always end up back here. Tablet UI with inverted colors.....love it lol.
I'm running EOS4 nightlies, and EOS3 nightlies before that with very few problems. Check it out, it's a pretty sweet ROM.
Fitsnugly's CM10.1 has been great as always. Tiny's kernel too.

CM10
I'm using pure AOSP with Trinity Kernel. I can say It's awesome.
It seems like all of the 4.2.1 ROMs are still experiencing issues. Is that even true of vanilla AOSP?
right now liquidsmooth with air kernel, but that's bound to change as i can't leave my phone the way it is anymore.
Sorcery for me excellent amount of customization and battery life is great running the stock kernel packaged with the rom I could go on how awesome this rom is.

CM currently, looking around at other roms.
Elementalx (lovin the S2W/S)
Rom Deb
I´m running Carbon-Rom atm as its the only featured Rom for the Nexus 7 deb (LTE Version).
As soon as PACman Rom will be fully working, i will use it (or paranoidandroid).
I was pretty happy with stock rom and kernel rooted, but now flashed Carbon and a custom rom to test. Just a few tweaks I need like expanded desktop mode, lowering the size of the nav bar, themes etc and Carbon offer me all this so happy with my set up for the time being.
