I'm just curious of what ROM you guys are using as a daily driver for your galaxy nexus
I personally use Black Jelly Bean (based on aokp) because I love the true black theme and the inverted gapps
Also I find it one of the most stable ROM out there and battery is pretty solid too!
I wanna here from you guys!

I've tried several but always return to liquid, its the only one I've found that includes all the features I got used to on ICS. Love the theme of black bean but will wait til aokp incorporates more features into JB.

Rasjellybean. Best AOSP ROM out there, in my opinion.

JellyBro nightly very happy
I have been on paranoid android and I like it so far. Forget which kernel I am running. Under about phone it just says unavailable lol. Good battery life so far. Smooth too. tried aokp, bamf and code name android.
Been looking to switch it up though... anyone have a suggestion for a ROM/kernel combo that has a decent amount of features and customization without sacrificing battery??

Liquid/trinity. Auto sync mobile data and auto brightness on the whole time and I just did 21 hours with 4½ display, will add screenshots from laptop in morning.
I wanted a change so I'm now trying rasbean jelly with trinity kernel. As long as battery holds up the same I'll probably stick with this for a few weeks.

I've switched my ROM to official aokp nightly I do like the inverted apps, but I found updates to be to slow so now, I have nightly aokp overclock to 1.4 and still around 4 hours of screen on time!

Just got my Nexus (GSM) and there are so many ROMS to choose from!! Anyone have any favorites that I can try? I came from HTC Desire using Richard Trip's Villain ROM.
AOKP is the one with most tweaks, tho many say its kinda laggy, im using it and no lag for me
I've tried them all so far and my 2 favorite are ARHD and AOKP.
Try with these 2 first, aokp for 4.0.3 and arhd for 4.0.2.

He seems to update that ROM every week! I will grab build 28 - that one seems to be the latest. What is the difference between Milestone 4 and a build?
I couldn't stand AOKP! too much customization! hahaha. I'm on codename android
I would have to go with official AOKP all the way! I've got it on both my phones

Bugless Beast is the best IMO if you aren't looking for a bunch of mods. Its rock solid stable, has toggles in the status bar and gives great battery life. Run it with trinity kernel though, best experience I've had so far.

It says nightly, but he releases new builds every week or more, but no need to always upgrade, I just flashed the March 16th build and I don't see any reason to upgrade unless he adds some crazy new features, because it's really great right now.
All roms are updated nearly every week or 2, you don't have to upgrade though, if you want a ROM that has no development then go with one of those roms that hasn't been updated for a month or 2.
Im getting the galaxy nexus soon and i was wondering witch JB rom is the most stable rom and is there more than one kernel, witch one is best?!
Excited to get this phone,
Thanks!

That is actually pretty good. It also seems like you play games and that drains the battery pretty quick, especially since is using the GPU much more than in regular use.
I could have never ever achieve this kind of battery with my HTC Sensation even when running CM9.
Here is mine. Using stock but rooted JB and stock kernel.
Used for browsing a lot, Twitter, Facebook, Texting and YouTube videos.

Sir, black bean is based heavily on AOKP. It IS AOKP with a little tweaks such as inverted apps and such. For me, AOKP nightly is better, because the updates are much quicker and bug fixes come before black bean.

Just installed CNA and holy crap... it blows black bean away. Also i finally get deep sleep so thats another plus. If you looking for customization.. CNA is the way to go.
Like the title says, this isn't about what's "best". It's just to try to get an idea of metrics. As far as I know there's no one tracking how popular any given ROM is, and this won't go a long way to help, but I'm curious.
Please don't check "Yes this is a question" for polls in General. Qs go in Q&A. Edited title.
Thanks
