So whats better? and whats latest in devleopment... im currently running AOKP Jeally Bean 15Aug Build with trinity kernel and i was wondering whats further in development and has the most features and is more stable?
AOKP or CM10?
Everyone has there own opinion but can you please give a reason why you prefer that rom?
Everybody has an opinion. I love CM10, but AOKP is cool too. Try Paradigm though, its been great to me.

Sir, black bean is based heavily on AOKP. It IS AOKP with a little tweaks such as inverted apps and such. For me, AOKP nightly is better, because the updates are much quicker and bug fixes come before black bean.

I haven't tried CM10 but the AOKP nightlies are great to use.

AOKP for the win! Latest nightly is almost perfection. They're also close to the first real build.

CNA just released 3.3 as well and it is a beast!

Cm10 is further along with more features. I like aokp better in general, but I'm currently using cm paranoid android.
When both ROMs are fully loaded I think they're pretty close, aokp has more though.

Speaking of real build, should I wipe data too when flashing to real build? I've been dirty-flashing since day 1 and had no trouble...
CM10 ftw.... I still need to try cna.

Just installed CNA and holy crap... it blows black bean away. Also i finally get deep sleep so thats another plus. If you looking for customization.. CNA is the way to go.

I'm just curious of what ROM you guys are using as a daily driver for your galaxy nexus
I personally use Black Jelly Bean (based on aokp) because I love the true black theme and the inverted gapps
Also I find it one of the most stable ROM out there and battery is pretty solid too!
I wanna here from you guys!

I have been on paranoid android and I like it so far. Forget which kernel I am running. Under about phone it just says unavailable lol. Good battery life so far. Smooth too. tried aokp, bamf and code name android.
Been looking to switch it up though... anyone have a suggestion for a ROM/kernel combo that has a decent amount of features and customization without sacrificing battery??

Liquid/trinity. Auto sync mobile data and auto brightness on the whole time and I just did 21 hours with 4½ display, will add screenshots from laptop in morning.
I wanted a change so I'm now trying rasbean jelly with trinity kernel. As long as battery holds up the same I'll probably stick with this for a few weeks.

Look through the dev thread and see which ones have what you're looking for. AOKP and CM10 variants are probably the most popular.
Try AOKP, Euroskank and/or official CM10 then go from there.
What were you using on your previous phone? Try that if it's available.
I am currently using BAMF and really like it but I've tried about 6 or 7 in the past month so I may not be on it very long.

OP, opinions will vary and different roms/kernels will run differently on each phone. Please try them to see which one performs better for you. Thank you.
Like the title says, this isn't about what's "best". It's just to try to get an idea of metrics. As far as I know there's no one tracking how popular any given ROM is, and this won't go a long way to help, but I'm curious.
Please don't check "Yes this is a question" for polls in General. Qs go in Q&A. Edited title.
Thanks

I'm using pure AOSP with Trinity Kernel. I can say It's awesome.
It seems like all of the 4.2.1 ROMs are still experiencing issues. Is that even true of vanilla AOSP?
right now liquidsmooth with air kernel, but that's bound to change as i can't leave my phone the way it is anymore.

I am currently on aokp build 6 and am getting bored of the holo look of the ROMs+bugs and am thinking of going back to JMT X4. I know that this ROM is kinda old and is on ICS so I wanted to ask if it would be a good idea because I heard that it doesn't have Google now and some other stuff that is present in JB ROMs.

If your looking for a mostly bug free Rom then JMTX4 would be a good bet.. It's further developed and is super fast..
If you want the same bug free experience on JB then you will have to wait a little longer my friend. But it's coming soon!
This thing makes calls too ?
