Gallery Pictures Are Out of Order in Albums - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I transferred a lot of pictures over to my Galaxy Nexus from my computer and they were all in different albums but when I go to look at them on my phone they're all from newest to oldest instead of from oldest to newest. The order got flipped around somehow.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I had the same problems except my pictures all became jumbled and out of sync with regards the date they were taken. I downloaded Photo Gallery (Fish Bowl) free from the Market which seems to have resolved my issue.

I like the stock gallery app for ICS so this is frustrating that the photos are so disorganized.
I hope they address this in a future update; I mean, how hard can it be to fix?

Has the blurry contact pic issue been fixed yet?

Only if I have someone on Google+ will it show as a normal pic. Any other way, its ALWAYS blurry. Has the issue been fixed yet?

If its a question ask in the appropriate place....

Try Haxsync in the market.. works quite well, well worth the dollar
They need to fix this issue. Haxsync works but isn't perfect.
It's a Google Contacts from Gmail issue, not an Android related one. If the Gmail team would allow 720p pictures for Contacts over night, then I don't think it's going to be such a problem syncing those pictures with Android. Unless there's a specifier somewhere in Contacts Sync framework in Android that holds a max of 256x256 pixels (or whatever the current max is).
No it is not fixed. It is really starting to irk me.
Has the issue been addressed?

+1, works great.
There have been many complaints on this prior to the GN. Many have written directly to Google on the matter but I've yet to find where they have a fix in place or have even acknowledged that there is a problem. This is the one issue that I find extremely irritating about Android phones.
You shouldn't have to purchase a 3rd party app to fix this issue...And in my opinion HaxSync helped a bit, but still did not provide an HD quality pic (unless they've updated the app recently). FriendCaster gave the same results.

Google plus photo upload

So today on the g+app I went through and deleted all the pictures in the 'from your phone' album. As it had loads of blurry shots and old stuff.
And it deleted all the photos on my phone!
Anyone else had this?

That's what it does, delete is delete.

What you really want though is the deletes on the phone to get deletes from my Google + account.

It'd be nice if deleting from the phone didn't always delete from the account. I was pretty irked when that happened despite the fact that I wasn't logged into Google+

That's what happens. If you just go onto the web and delete the photos, they won't be deleted from the internal storage of the phone.
Doing so from the app, however, does delete the original photos from your device.

Camera

Thought I would start a thread here instead of littering the development threads. I always delete the stock gallery app in favor of quick pic. It's not perfect either, but it's functionality exceeds googles gallery and then some.
Here is the issue. Prior to Jelly Bean deleting the gallery had no effect on the camera. However now deleting the gallery also deletes the camera. I have tried installing the camera app from CM9, as it is separate, but it still won't work. Camera apps from the market seen substandard, and I'm not looking to spend $ on an app that isn't great.
Does anyone have a solution to this? I guess I could just leave the gallery installed and set quick pic as default.

There you have it.
I hate the stock gallery app as well, but it seems Google fused it together with the camera. Think of it as the Google+ and its Messenger app.
No harm in leaving the Gallery be.

Maybe you can freeze the Gallery app with Titanium Backup? But I don't know if this will have the same effect like deleting it. Just an idea...

gallery combained with camera gives speed at launch, plus i love quick pic too but i find so much slow latest so i stick with stock ones as i prefere now most!
I tried quick pic for a while but I just couldn't take the "loading" between each pic when viewing them.

NFC issues

Hey guys I hope I can get some help, Iv been trying to use the NFC to share pictures but instead of receiving pictures the other person gets a message that says new tag received pictures in gallery. Checked the gallery and nothing there, I can beam apps without issue and web links but not images, anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

[Q] Photos from Posts fix or gallery replacement

I was wondering if there had been a fix to have the Picasa folder from Google+ "Photos from Posts" stop being split into various folders according to date on our Galaxy S3. Is there any way to fix this but maintain the rest of the Picasa folders?
Perhaps a way to "Hide" said folders while being able to maintain the rest visible?
If neither, maybe an alternative gallery replacement app that is able to see both the pics on the phone as well as sync to Picasa?

Try going online and doing it. I. I'm not sure you are able to within the gallery. What if you add them to one folder using a file manager app?

I've tried to find a way to hide that entire folder within Picasa to no avail. If anyone has found a way I'd love to hear it.

Did anyone find a fix, this is so annoying. I sure wish it would just work like it did on my Nexus.
No one find a fix for that? Or a replacement app?
