[Q] Photos from Posts fix or gallery replacement - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I was wondering if there had been a fix to have the Picasa folder from Google+ "Photos from Posts" stop being split into various folders according to date on our Galaxy S3. Is there any way to fix this but maintain the rest of the Picasa folders?
Perhaps a way to "Hide" said folders while being able to maintain the rest visible?
If neither, maybe an alternative gallery replacement app that is able to see both the pics on the phone as well as sync to Picasa?

Try going online and doing it. I. I'm not sure you are able to within the gallery. What if you add them to one folder using a file manager app?

I've tried to find a way to hide that entire folder within Picasa to no avail. If anyone has found a way I'd love to hear it.

Did anyone find a fix, this is so annoying. I sure wish it would just work like it did on my Nexus.

No one find a fix for that? Or a replacement app?

Gallery Pictures Are Out of Order in Albums

I transferred a lot of pictures over to my Galaxy Nexus from my computer and they were all in different albums but when I go to look at them on my phone they're all from newest to oldest instead of from oldest to newest. The order got flipped around somehow.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I had the same problems except my pictures all became jumbled and out of sync with regards the date they were taken. I downloaded Photo Gallery (Fish Bowl) free from the Market which seems to have resolved my issue.

I like the stock gallery app for ICS so this is frustrating that the photos are so disorganized.
I hope they address this in a future update; I mean, how hard can it be to fix?

Talk to me like I'm 5 about the photo gallery app.

I'm having a problem with regards to the photo gallery displaying way too many photos and only want to display photos I have stored on the phone and the Instant Upload folder that google plus generates. What do I have to do to make this happen?
I've gone into picasa web galleries and deleted a ton of old ones which aren't relevant anymore, but no matter what I try my gallery app is a mess of photos from posts on google plus with no recognizable folder structure or organization at all.
Should I just give up and use gallery only for local photos and then the google plus app for viewing the instant upload folder?
Is there a third party app that will do what I want?
I really can't help you with the stock gallery app as it blows IMO.
QuickPic from the market will let you display or hide anything you wish.
I love quickpic but it's local files only isn't it?
Clear media storage data

Settings/accounts & sync / click on you Gmail account(s) and uncheck the photos so it doesn't sync with your device.

[Q] Where are my saved photos going?!

Hello,
I feel silly for even asking this but, I have been saving pictures from my gmail, yet they are not showing up in my gallery. I also used a file explorer to try and locate them but no luck there either. The only place they are visible is the stock downloads app. Any suggestions where they are going?! Thanks!
Probably downloads

Slide show???

Ever since I flashed the prerooted stock rom from xda, my picture messages are both received & sent in slideshow format. My wifes s3 is untouched & does not do this. Her pics come in as a full screen picture & not as a slide show or video format. Is there a setting somewhere I am over looking? A line of code that can change this? Or should I try replacing the messaging apk?
Any help or suggestions are welcome

Any ideas?
The only time I get slide show us when it's more than one picture Sent. If it's just one it come in normal. If it's a slide show just long press, hit save and they will go to your gallery where you can view them in their entirety and delete whichever one you don't want.

Yes I have been saving the pics to the memory card to be able to see them.
Mine always comes through as a slide show format even if it is only one picture.
It's pretty annoying......
I know this is not normal behavior, but cannot find a way to correct it......
If I flash a shock messaging apk in place of the existing one, do you think this might help?
The one I have should be stock but came with the stock/rooted rom I downloaded from xda.
What rom are you using? Maybe I can link you to some other sms apps you can try.

Hide photo albums in kitkat

Does anyone know how to hide photo albums in the gallery?
I have quite a few junk files associated with pdfs and others that just fill up my gallery with junk I don't want to see.
life is better with r00t
I went into my extSdCard and built a folder called .nomedia
Then ran everything to it that I didn't want showing up in the gallery. You have to actually go to that folder to open it.

I will give it a try. In 4.2 it was easy. For some reason they had to take something that worked and break it.
