HELP ME MAGIC DOESNT WORK

IVE USED THE UNLOCK 2.2 AND I CANNOT GET THE PROGRAM TO UNLOCK THE XDA II CAN ANYBODY HELP ME ON HOW TO GET THE MAGIC TO WORK????
No, we can't... we need our hands to keep our ears closed in order to not get deaf. Damn... now I posted (fed the troll) and got deaf myself.
Miller, there are two versions of the xda2unlock, one version runs from desktop, the other runs from the phone, have you tried both methods?

When will there be CDMA Desire Roms?

How did you do that? Unrevoked 3.2 Isn't out yet is it
Look at their twitter. They tell you how to get a test version.

thats for the heads up. rooted now also.. need a 2.2 now. lol
im wondering how similar the desire is to the incredible or the evo.. i wonder if it could run some of their roms?
the inc is very similar. and would prob work. if it has slcd support. i dunno though. risky. although one should be able to restore a backup
Now someone just has to get the courage up to do it.

Just to let you know
I've rooted my cdma desire and I've tried flashing a couple gsm roms. None of which would boot. If you try flashing any roms on your own make 100% sure you have a backup made because you will end up with a semi-brick and I'm sure nobody here wants to hear you whine about what's a recovery menu.
I've been thinking about making a ROM but I have zero experience. I'm doing a lot of reading but if there are any developers who want to work on a rom, that would be awesome.
i made one with some tweaks that works also i am working on porting a froyo version

they are almost identical but for some reason the wifi and bluethooth would not work on a inc rom that i ported even though they are the same chip
I recently got my desire CDMA rooted also, but i used to hangout over in the G1 forum so i kinda know my way around android & root. let me know if i can help with anything. my twitters @BuddhaTeh1337
You can find some CDMA roms here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10469759&postcount=2. Happy flashing !

From what we can gather so far, will the current root methods work for this guy? I dont know enough to be able to pick through an RUU and tell. So im appealing to you guys.
Will it have the same wierd nand lock thing has the G2/DZ, something new or... I have no idea really haha.
Just wondering because i plan to pick one up, possibly on launch day, and would like to make sure its rootable.
-Thanks
Nothing? Nada?
I don't think anyone knows much, and this isn't the right forum for this phone anyway. It's rumoured spec doesn't seem to be identical to the Vision, so I imagine it'll have its own set of forums.
I would have thought we'd need some source to get something useful out of the ROM ? Maybe I'm wrong though.

How do I downgrade HBoot

Hi all, i know im prob repeating a few other posts but im having trouble finding some clarity, I got a wildfire yesterday and it came with 2.2.1 on it which means hboot 1.02.0002, I really really want to get rid of sense and stick on cyanogen mod, is there anyway this can be done, I've heard I can turn the S-off and downgrade but I have no idea how to do that without an XTC clip, is there a software solution yet, or do i have to take it to a phone shop and get them to do it for me, can someone enlighten me to whats going on with the scene atm and if its even possible yet.
Take it to a phone shop and get it S-OFF'ed using an XTC Clip, No software only solution yet.
yeah, and stop being lazy and scroll through the forum first next time, it's not so hard!

[Q] Do I have to un-root?

Okay, so quite a few months ago you guys may have seen my post about me breaking my SIM card reader and I've been wanting to get it fixed. I found out online that you CAN get it fixed but I'm not sure if I would have to un-root it. Can someone tell me anything you know about it?
Any help would be nice
you'd only need to into and go back if your giving it back to htc or your carrier. Giving a hardware problem has nothing to do with the software (rooting, custom ROMs etc)

thanks don't hurt ya know?
