[Q] wifi tether?

all the wifi tether apps are being weird. none are connecting or if they do they usually drop the connection after a few minutes. tried barnacle. doesnt connect.
wheres a stable wifi tether app for evo

PdaNet works great for me. I am on stock, though. Don't know how it works otherwise.

[Q] Can't tether on MIUI

Hello all
I seem to be having some problems with tether on MIUI. I've tried barnacle, open garden wifi, Wifi Tether for Root, and the built in MIUI tethering.
When I connect using wifi tether and the built in MIUI and try to go to a website on my laptop it says that the DNS lookup failed.
Any idea how to fix this?
Also, does MIUI tethering show up under tethering for my carrier?

I use wireless tether v 2.0.8 on miui just fine. Whether your carrier knows is open to much debate about custom kernels, deep packet inspection, traffic type, etc, but just try to use tethering responsibly.

[Q] wifi tether settings

I've rooted the sN2 and dl the wifi tether from the play store but for the life of me I can't configure it properly to work. On the GSIII I managed to find a setting that worked but for the gn2 It's not working can I get some help please?

There is no fix for this yet. Wifi tether and hotspot hacks do not work at this time.

I am rooted, unlocked, and on stock. what i want to know is what are ways to have wireless tethering?

wifi tether and mods work with some issues, like you have to reboot after using to get wifi working again.
