Launcher Pro - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Has anyone been able to get Launcher Pro working on their GN? I keep getting force closes when I try to load it.

Works fine for me. And by fine, it loads and I can interact with it, but its really sluggish for some reason (it zoomed on my Charge).
Are you restoring it from a backup or something? If so, that could be the cause.
Otherwise, try wiping the app cache. Or uninstalling/reinstalling.

OK...think I found the problem. If I try and use the LP calendar widget I will get force closes. Can you loaded the calendar widget?

Nope, it crashed the launcher for me too. With it being abandoned, there's probably no hope of a fix either.

(Q) Market force closing

Whenever I open market, when I get to selecting an app from a list I get: Unfortunately, market has stopped working. No idea what to do, happened after I installed the Netflix HD app. If anyone has an idea, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

[Q] Calendar Sync

I deleted GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk and the odex originally to try and fix my sync issues for my stock Calendar. Well I restored them back into System/Apps but every time I click "Calendars to Sync" in the stock Calendar app, the app crashes and says "Force Closed". I had also deleted CalendarProvider.apk and odex to see if that would do anything but I also restored that. I don't see Calendar under the Sync menu in Settings. This is all on Jelly Bean 4.1.1 complete pure stock, no roms. Anyone know how to fix this without actually restoring the phone?
I'm curious why you think deleting calendar related system apps would solve a sync issue?

I honestly don't know. I was just trying everything to get it to work... pretty stupid, I know. But now it's even more messed up.
Flashing a Rom should solve it

Has calendar sync worked or did you always have the issue?

Wouldn't flashing erase everything and require me to back everything up? If so, i'd rather not go through all of that just to fix the Calendar at this point. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Actually it did work before I deleted these things, but I was trying to something else with the Calendar and it wasn't showing up on the phone while it was showing on the web. I learned recently after reading about it that the app itself doesn't support subscription calendars yet so what I really did was all pointless.

Apex launcher

Just starting this topic because today my apex launcher updated and now it won't work it keeps force closing and/or the screen goes black for about a minute. Was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue thanks.

First, questions belong in q&a.
More, about your problem. Try going into application manager and clearing cache and data for apex launcher. Be warned this will erase all your settings.

Hi
I love the Apex Launcher and the added freedom on the Android system but have realised that now the application manager on my Galaxy Note 8 is not working. When i first drag the widget to the screen it shows how many applicatins are open but after i close them it doesnt update itself and doesnt work from then on... Any ideas? Please? :crying:

[Q] s planner and s note keeps force closing ???

All of the sudden both of these apps are not opening correctly, they both just stop and I get the unfortunately "splanner had to close" message. I'm running clean rom 3.5 but had no problems with it up to yesterday. I tried reloading a older version that I had backed up but no luck. How can I fix this??
Thanks
I'm no expert but I know doing "fix permissions" in recovery / rom manager can fix force close issues
