I deleted GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk and the odex originally to try and fix my sync issues for my stock Calendar. Well I restored them back into System/Apps but every time I click "Calendars to Sync" in the stock Calendar app, the app crashes and says "Force Closed". I had also deleted CalendarProvider.apk and odex to see if that would do anything but I also restored that. I don't see Calendar under the Sync menu in Settings. This is all on Jelly Bean 4.1.1 complete pure stock, no roms. Anyone know how to fix this without actually restoring the phone?
I'm curious why you think deleting calendar related system apps would solve a sync issue?

I honestly don't know. I was just trying everything to get it to work... pretty stupid, I know. But now it's even more messed up.
Flashing a Rom should solve it

Has calendar sync worked or did you always have the issue?

Wouldn't flashing erase everything and require me to back everything up? If so, i'd rather not go through all of that just to fix the Calendar at this point. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Actually it did work before I deleted these things, but I was trying to something else with the Calendar and it wasn't showing up on the phone while it was showing on the web. I learned recently after reading about it that the app itself doesn't support subscription calendars yet so what I really did was all pointless.

That might fix it but the Facebook app is really a piece of **** so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bug in it of some kind.
Make sure to clear your app data too.

Funny enough, I have the same issue too. Currently on AOKP 28 with Franco's r112.
Will try reinstalling app/deleting app data later on to see if it fixes it.

Has anyone else had problems with being unable to access the play store and Gmail? Probably has to do with a Google account issue. Also, when I looked under Accounts and Sync there was no option for adding a google account. Curious...

Ever since I got my SIII, I've been having problems with the Play Store. Anytime I go to purchase a paid application, I get the error "Unable to retrieve information from the server [DF-DFERH-01]. Googling this error only shows me a bug that affected the GTalk a few months back. But the even more odd thing is, its starting to happen on my N7 as well. I can download free apps fine. It looks like it's having problems initilizing Google Wallet for the purchase. Wasnt having these problems with my other phone (EVO 4G LTE on Sprint). Is this a known bug with T-Mobiles networks? I've tried it on multiple wireless networks, as well as HSPA. Even had my buddy sitting right next to me try and he could download fine. I'm rooted on CM10 today, but I've tried 3-4 other ROMS with the same problem. Almost positive its tied into my Google account. Did the basic troubleshooting steps such as clearing the Play Store data/cache/uninstalled a Google Play Services update, and re-added my Google account. Is anyone else experiencing this? And if so, is there a known fix?

I did actually. I switched to ParanoidAndroid for a second to see a new build. I screwed around for a few seconds then uninstalled it.

So currently you are running at which dpi? 99 percent of the time market errors are caused by dpi

How would I tell that? It was set to stock when I flashed PA. And I set everything back before I flashed back.
Could also be a problem with your account like you mentioned. I think some people have had problems when having multiple services associated with that account. Maybe create a new account and see if it still happens. Dont know how inconvenient that may be for you.
But if its happening on different roms and devices then its surely the account. Maybe contact google support?

Yeah. That's kind of worst case scenario. I know they're a PITA to get in touch with. That's why I was seeing if there is anyone else with this problem that could possibly help me fix it.

I've tried that already, and still no avail.
And it's still happening. I guess its time to get in touch with Google.. :/
I'm not sure if this was discussed already and resolved for I didn't see it.
For some reason I am not getting Facebook updates in my notification bar any more. When I was on stock I was getting them and I still get notifications now from other apps. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, checking the settings, deleting the sns file in root explorer, and trying and inverted Facebook. I am on jedi 6.2.1 with an aosp blue theme, perseus kernel and I did a clean flash when I added the rom. Not sure what's wrong but any suggestions will help.
Sorry again if this was posted already but I didn't see it when I did a forum search.

Yes, has been discussed before. The answer is that Facebook notifications suck no matter what ROM you're using.

Fixed the problem and finally have Facebook notifications and fb messager notifications. What I did was wipe all roms and restore to factory, I clean installed all my roms, and when I went to restore apps from titanium backup I only installed missing apps not system data etc. I heard someone say this could be the problem when restoring with data and it seems like that's the case.
I'm running jedi 6.1.2 perseus kernel 29.1 aosp blue theme

Hey,
I'm on a stock, non rooted, galaxy S3 on jelly bean 4.1.2. Notifications for every other app works except the official twitter app. They just stopped working on their own a few days ago. I've checked the settings, reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and everything except a hard reset. Anyone know how to fix this?

No I am not.
I might suggest trying another Twitter app. Pretty sure the one by Twitter is garbage compared to what is available.

Yes I tried it. Didn't help, I also cleared the cache to no avail.
Also I tried a new app today, Plume. It wasn't getting any notifications either. This is getting extremely annoying...
Only other things I can think of is to try a factory reset. Backup all you can first though, including your internal sd. Sorry I dont have anything better at this point.
You could try to flash the latest firmware in Odin, but I have a feeling that wont do any good...
Is there a way to clear only dalvik cache without being rooted? If so, thats another thing you can try.

I had the same problem but was fixed with the new twitter app update
I found the fix. At least for me. On a PC go to twitter > settings > apps and revoke access to all the apps. Worked perfectly for me after restarting my phone and everything.

Every app or just the twitter for android one? Because I revoked just the one for android and it didn't help.
I bought falcon pro and it works flawlessly
