Hi everyone !
I'd like to hear your from you guys how you solved the battery life-problem, my phone is from 100%-0% in 6 hours. I'm looking for some information: like what I should do ? I see scripts to improve, but in order to complete the scripts I need to wipe my mobile and I dont like doing that.
Send me a reply . Thanks in advance !

Some common and layman methods are :
1. Switch to 2G mode. Use 3G mode manually when neccesary.
2. Try using an app like SetCPU to underclock your CPU.
3. Use lower brightness levels.
Besides these obvious cut-your-usage-type methods, all I can think of are UV scripts. You can also try different kernels like LordMod's, Unity, or RCMix, etc.. They offer measurable improvements in increasing battery life.
I use cynogenmod 7 the latest nightly and lordmods ue 8.5 Cfs kernel upgraded my radio to the second to latest version and now I'm getting crazy battery life, my last charge was 17 hrs ago and I still have 54%

if u don't want to try my settings u can try wiping ur battery stats which will collabrate your battery do this by charging to 100% then boot into clockwork recovery go to advance and you will see the option to wipe battery stat u should do this after flashing a new rom or kernel too
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
And I also use set CPU to under clock and use basically no CPU when my screen is off
Do some reaserch on the things we have mentioned and u will see better battery life in no time

Have you tried JuiceDefender? It will save a lot of battery by managing your data usage automatically. You should save about 4 to 6 hours.
What ROM/kernel are you using? Killersloth has a script for most of the popular kernels, try them out and it might solve your problem.

Setcpu doesnt work for me, because im not rooted..
So I'm currently using Juice Defender,
I'm waiting for the new release of CM 9, then I have to figure out which (battery life-improving) script is compitable with it

I've always had the understanding that your screen should use the most. Here is mine in HORRIBLE coverage (no bars and back and forth from 3G to 1x) normally my screen % is pretty close to yours. I am running aokp build 38 with auto brightness oc to 1113 max 245 min uv -1 step across the board with smartassV2 governor and noop scheduler.

Mine usually looks like yours. Only difference in our setups is I'm on the v10 kernel. (Not 10.5)
Another way to increase battery life/decrease that screen percentage is to use custom backlight settings and levels. I found some in a thread here a while back that helped my battery life significantly on the stock battery. Using the same setup as above poster and the custom backlight settings I get ~3 days on an extended battery with light usage.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda premium
I think 10.5 is not great on battery life.
I can provide the v10 kernel via Dropbox if you guys want....I haven't seen it anywhere lately.
Credit to Aeroevan of course for the the awesome kernel.

Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
I'm also running Aeroevan's CM9 (7/12), but using the 10.5 kernel. No overclocking, and I have the brightness on auto at all times. Have the wifi on when at home, scarcely have GPS on. Sync on all the time. I usually get two days of battery life, but at that point the battery goes down to under 10%, so I usually charge at least once a day to keep it higher.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Kernel or rogue app.
I have tried so many kernels and roms including cm10, aokp and slimbean but in all of them the same 'media' process is taking 40 to 50% of my battery even in standby. Is it some app that might be responsible for this drain?

Most likely an app.

Can you recommend me the best way to find out which app is it? I have uninstalled 80 apps and still the problem persists. thanks

Use an app called Better Battery Stats - this app will help you determine which app may be keeping the phone awake.

I uninstalled each and every app except whatsapp and power amp but still there is a loss of 30% battery overnight.
Battery stats were something like this.
Everything is same this time except governor is ondemand.
And one more thing. When i woke up today i found that my HOV was pretty warm.
Yesterday morning also the situation was very same.
I've didn't change any performance setting on the rom and I've installed crossbreeder and turboboost mod. I've a lot of app installed. battery stats are like this.
(it says 14 hours 7 minutes 20 seconds on battery)
Just an idea

And then make separate experimental build

It works for me, and our ROM, luckily. No hangs seen it.
Okay...here is something i did..
Last nyt i allowed battery to drain down completely....
When it came down to 4% i purposely increased screen brightness to maximum and turned on gps....was quite surprised to see...battery stayed on 4% at least for 45 mins....
And then when it drained out completely i put on charge. ..
Allowed it to charge till morning....
And now m noticing a slight increase in battery life...
With the same amount of use...as i do daily....battery is giving better response....
I think charge is there in battery...but d phone is not reading it properly...i suggest yu guys to drain it completely and charge to 100% in one go....
Hope that helps...

Actually Sense and Aosp both are good at their respective places..
If you need performance customizations and loopy smoothness .. Go for Aosp .. I would say that shpongle is the best over here..
While Sense has quality .. Camera and keyboard are the main attraction for a sense ROM .. But the HTC Sense consumes RAM at a high rate..

first of all try to charge your battery to 100% after that open app battery calibration (http://d-h.st/DR1)
after that hit the calibrate button and power off your phone and take out the battery for 2 - 5 minutes, after that boot up your phone and keep discharge until battery is low, and when battery low recharge your phone untill full and recharge again
install pimp my rom (http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/?id=com.androguide.pimpmyrom)
and open menu kernel, after that go to i/o schedulers
hit enable disable i/o stats to avoid overhead on device
and go down again and search vsync
select re-enable vsync and close that app, after that use your phone normally until battery level is low, and give a full charge untill 100%
and try how your new battery
