That's bit unusual mate :what:
I have to charge twice...
Drains out very quickly..

also here,
BatteryLife is great since first release.
Must be an app problem. Android-OS and Android-System must be under 4% of total consumption, then your setup is OK.
Setup
WiFi=Only when connected (or off)

somebody with f*cked lock button can't turn off sweep2wake or else he\she will be throwing his\her HOV against walls

I uninstalled each and every app except whatsapp and power amp but still there is a loss of 30% battery overnight.
Battery stats were something like this.
Everything is same this time except governor is ondemand.
And one more thing. When i woke up today i found that my HOV was pretty warm.
Yesterday morning also the situation was very same.

I've didn't change any performance setting on the rom and I've installed crossbreeder and turboboost mod. I've a lot of app installed. battery stats are like this.
(it says 14 hours 7 minutes 20 seconds on battery)

Just an idea
Leave sphongle as it is
And then make separate experimental build
Or best don't even port halo, it's ****ty
But if u have the time, camera calls to u, that's all what most of us needs, except some people

It works for me, and our ROM, luckily. No hangs seen it.

Okay...here is something i did..
Last nyt i allowed battery to drain down completely....
When it came down to 4% i purposely increased screen brightness to maximum and turned on gps....was quite surprised to see...battery stayed on 4% at least for 45 mins....
And then when it drained out completely i put on charge. ..
Allowed it to charge till morning....
And now m noticing a slight increase in battery life...
With the same amount of use...as i do daily....battery is giving better response....
I think charge is there in battery...but d phone is not reading it properly...i suggest yu guys to drain it completely and charge to 100% in one go....
Hope that helps...

shpongle is so good for HOV Accu. :good::good::good:

But theres a thread somewhere here that says you might brick your phone unsuspectingly if you go below 20% lol, of the 6 months I've had the phone, I've never done it, I'd love to tho.

Both are completely different . .. not comparable ... I prefer cm ROMs for better battery and customization.. and shpongle will be faster .than stock .. but stock has awesome camera and and some HTC stuff

Actually Sense and Aosp both are good at their respective places..
If you need performance customizations and loopy smoothness .. Go for Aosp .. I would say that shpongle is the best over here..
While Sense has quality .. Camera and keyboard are the main attraction for a sense ROM .. But the HTC Sense consumes RAM at a high rate..

Knowing that you can change roms more frequently as your underpants, it's easy... Just do it! :victory:

Does this seem like OK battery life?

I'm running kyanROM with minimal use. Took it off charger at 6 am listen to Bluetooth streaming I'm my car. Driving to school. Out at 12, barely no use at work and its at 53% I have an extended battery. Usually I listen to music all at work and by the time I get home at 11 its under 20%. I've seen people get 2 days out of theirs with over 8 hours of screen time...... something just doesn't seen right with battery life. Any ideas?

That is SUCH a subjective question to ask. There are so many different variables that can effect battery life. What apps you have installed, which ones were running. Seeing as you are not using a stock battery, it makes it a even more difficult question to answer. Personally, I'd be happy with those specs

May be you should do Battery Calibration and wipe battery stats at 100% Charge and test again.
It all depends on what is running and what you use, such as taskillers and synced items. But 15h is good battery life. I get about 11 but almost 3 hours of that is screen on time.

Something is definitely hijacking your battery. Or at least those stats make that seem very likely. I would try another ROM and use the stock battery. Some(mostly all) of the cheap extended batteries are only really good for the first couple charges, for some reason they just can't hold one after that. Had a very similar problem on my captivate only to realize the extended battery was the problem. The stock battery on that phone ended up giving me over 4x the life.

Install Juice Defender.. i installed it when i saw my phone couldn't last more then 18h and now( well when i had it) i go push it 2-3 days on my normal use that i was doing.. just by installing Juice Defender.
also when WiFi is not around you should take it off.. and LTE takes a lot of battery life. just saying.
also when you go to bed on travel and don't have a charger.. Put it on FLIGHT MODE you will only lose like 1% of battery after 8 h of sleep
Install "GSam Battery Monitor"
it should help you to find out what process in Android System is draining your battery

Maybe u just got this issue:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1755180
Next time when you see a battery draining, check if you got that gsiff_daemon process running in background.
I "fixed" temporaly this draining issue by renaming the gsiff_daemon for gsiff_daemon.bak

I downloaded the Ktoonsez kernel today for my new S3(first android phone as well), but 1. It feels so laggy compare to my stock Kernel, and 2. My battery is draining like crazy! I when from like 94% to 88% in about 30 mins, and that was with the phone lock the entire time....
I also downloaded Flaux's Kernel. That one was real smooth, but it was also draining my battery a lot while the phone is also lock.
I'm currently using HighOnAndroid custom ROM and had to go back to the factory stock Kernel. I don't know what I'm doing wrong that I'm getting such horrible battery life using those two ROMs, when people are reporting such great battery life usage :crying:
.The battery needs to build a cache to reference and stabilize to show proper battery stats. Flash a rom and kernel and stick with it a few days. I'm using ktoonsez on aokp right now with excellent results. Even on stock roms I use ktoonsez kernel and get much better battery life via the kernel itself and tweaking the settings.
Also, if your saying the rom wasn't smooth I bet it wasn't the kernels doing, it works awesome for most. Of course there are some phones some things just don't work with and that may be your situation but it'd be rare

Well that could be anything, but ideally yes. Battery if very eradic after a full wipe and flash. Also try the app better battery stats, it will tell you if anything is causing your phone not to sleep, which would cause drain.

Need Miui v5 testers(No more needed i have enough now)

No more testers needed i have enough ppl testing it, thanks for the help. now to iron out gps, and get it to lock =/.
Im close to releasing this miui v5 port iv been working on for a few days now, iv got pretty much everything working, for the exception of some minor stuff. anyways what i whant tested the most is LTE , as i dont have any coverage in my area i need poeple to test to see if its working or not. im also aware that the touch keys backlight is not working , dont worry im looking into it, and all the other issues that remain. also a warning if you whant to test this rom, back up your efs i cant stress this enough, i already mest up mine once, so having a backup is always a must.
if your willing to test just post here or pm me, and il give you the link.
Also i dont know how the call bug works on cm10.1, but since this is based on it, so its also present here, so when you place a call phone will crash but the call will continue, so just hit ok on the phone crash report, after your done with the call. signal should be reacquired automatically.
cheers.

Sounds like my battery is pretty awesome in those situations XD. I don't know, but i only have one issue that doesn't really concern me. I have the Play Services battery drain thingy. But when i play big games, like real racing 3 or whatever big game i have on my phone. My battery gets like -3 percent in 20 minutes. Check your battery, I would say. Try calibrating. If your battery is old. Consider a replacement. I got 2 original batteris in my country for 5 EUR

Well, i got frustrated and switched to CM9 EOL. Now it is SLIGHTLY better, but still drains quick, how do you calibrate batteries anyways? Im using CWM 6.0.4.9 and theres no wipe battery stats option.

see my battery is back to normal, and not drain too fast
first of all try to charge your battery to 100% after that open app battery calibration (http://d-h.st/DR1)
after that hit the calibrate button and power off your phone and take out the battery for 2 - 5 minutes, after that boot up your phone and keep discharge until battery is low, and when battery low recharge your phone untill full and recharge again
install pimp my rom (http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/?id=com.androguide.pimpmyrom)
and open menu kernel, after that go to i/o schedulers
hit enable disable i/o stats to avoid overhead on device
and go down again and search vsync
select re-enable vsync and close that app, after that use your phone normally until battery level is low, and give a full charge untill 100%
and try how your new battery
ok that's all i know, hit thanks button if i help you :good:

Lol placebo is really working xD
Battery calibration is a MYTH. This app will delete batterystats.bin file which really has no any effect on your battery life. Proof: https://plus.google.com/u/0/105051985738280261832/posts/FV3LVtdVxPT
Will this work on earlier versions, say 4.3 or 4.1?
