I have a non-A2DP bluetooth setup in my car. I can use Voice Talk to make calls and give commands just fine. But when I connect my AUX input to listen to music, I can no longer hear Voice Talk. It seems like the Voice Talk audio got re-routed to my AUX instead of over Bluetooth, but like I said I don't hear anything. As soon as I unplug from my AUX i can hear Voice Talk again.
Is there anyway to use them both at the same time?
Thanks for your help.

Hi all -
I bought a HTC Touch Pro 3-in-1 Synch & Charge Stereo Audio 3.5mm adapter w/ microphone, hoping I can be able to use it while listening to MP3 music while charging my phone and capable of picking up calls in my car.
This is the item I bought: http://www.pdaextreme.com/2750.html
I noticed that everytime I use it, I would be able to listen to music for a short while then all of a sudden the Voice Speed Dial would go off or it would make calls repeatedly then I would unplug it and it would stop.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it from going off? It's really strange, I suspect that there some kind of shortcircuit in the adapter. Need help.
Thanks in advance,
elfnet
I know what you mean, i have a similar setup and specially when im listening to internet radio on skyfire or music on S2P it goes crazy and i have to unplug, for the voice dialer i disable it, just go on the options. but for the redial of the last number i have no clue on how to stop it. I hope someone here has a good solution to our problem!
I recently purchased this Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver and set it up in my car.
It works great for the music but when I get a call it just goes back to the phone(no speakerphone even).
What I want is the same thing that happens when headphones without a mic are plugged in during a call.
1. Audio through the "headphones(bluetooth in this case)
2. Mic through the phone mic
Is there any way to set this up?
Thanks
Edit: Additionally it seems that Tasker action *Take Call doesn't work on our device? Even rooted?
I am having a weird isssue. Just activated this phone and was using a Optimus S before this where everything worked pretty well but was slow.
I have my Motorola BT for hands free headset in the car. It's probably at least 3 years old but has always worked great with my tablets and other devices. I usually have my BT headset on in and a AUX cable in the headphone jack. I would play music from Google Play on my stereo and incoming/outgoing calls would automatically be routed to my headset. This all worked fine on Optimus.
I tried the same setup on my ET4G and when I try to make a call over BT headset I get no Audio in my headset. Also after that any music I play on Google Play, Pandora, etc doesn't get output to 3.5mm Aux jack. I pull out the headphone jack and no music is output to the external Speaker. It's as if the ET4G is possibly trying to output to my headset and doesn't let audio thru. However I don't hear any music thru my headset as it doesn't have A2DP.
A reboot will fix the 3.5mm jack and external speaker.
Any suggestions?
If you haven't already done it, go into BT settings, click on the settings for your device, and uncheck "Media audio".
Is there a such a thing as a car bluetooth mic to enhance voice input to GS3?
Basically, I have an active car cradle which uses the usb to charge the phone, I then connect an aux cable from the phone to my car stereo, this allows me to play music through my car speakers and hear any voice calls through my car speakers. This works fine apart from the GS3 mic not being loud enough for people to hear me very well, so I need some kind of enhanced mic that connects to the phone. Any ideas?
