The case quality is really good, fits well & it doesn't add bulk (around 1mm thick), it feels great in hand & it ads more grip to the phone.
Highly recommended if u want a tpu case.
Think I'll order a second one (black) cos mine is the clear black case (semi transparent) & I think the full black one will make the device look better with all those black edges & corners.

Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 Case review

So I just got my 3 new Cruzer lite cases and thought I would write a lil review on it and share with everyone. I have 2 of the previous Cruzer lite cases (Black & Clear) and loved them. So when I saw Cruzer had new cases coming, I just had to get them. I got the Green, Clear, and Black. This case is WAY better than the previous version. First off, it does not add any major bulk to the phone. It does add some, but very little. It has to add some or it wouldnt be able to protect the phone now would it? I compared it to a TPU case in the Verizon store and was thinner than that. Sorry, dont have make or model. I just ran in for a quick look at. The volume keys are cut out. It didnt bother me in the other case but just looks and feels much better now. The sides have a nice grip on them. Makes it nice when pulling out of my pockets. And last, the back. WOW o WOW. Love Andy the Android on the back. I am using the clear 1 at the moment. The case doesnt attract fingerprints bad at all. My wife hates Android as she had bad luck but when I showed her my new cases when I got home, she even said, thats pretty cool. As I have said before, I HATED cases before finding Cruzer Lite for my Nexus. I highly recommend you purchase 1, 2 or all of the colors Cruzer Lite offers.

Ya this fits the GSM model too. Joel did an amazing job with this case.

Thanks for the write up. I plan on ordering a couple of these soon. I wish there was an all matte one though. The glossy ones seem to attract fingerprints more and are more slippery. I planned on ordering the black one too.
I'm gonna give these a shot either way though. I love that Andy is on the back.

The finger prints aren't that bad really. I'll try yo take some pics later of it. I still rocking the black. Its part of my case rotation.

Yeah I don't find its a fingerprint magnet at all. It also fits the LTE extended battery quite nicely. Sharp looking and adds a nice grip to the phone.

If I had to guess I'd say they were molded from the LTE version. There is extra room when you fit this case on the GSM version.

Yep.. I jumped the gun and bought this too immediately when i saw this case reviewed on droid-life.

I just ordered three, black, smoke, and blue. Im already having color remorse though, wishing i would've gone clear instead of black.

Sweet that makes me happy, considering i was trying to change it on amazon haha.

Purchased the Smoke, Black, Clear models. I love how these cases (Diztronic, Cruzer) which normally I would stay away from actually perform much better than some cases from the "retail name brand" ones. Gotta love that.

Can anyone comment on how it fits with the GSM Galaxy Nexus? I was thinking of getting a few of these but I am a little concerned about how it will fit the gsm version with or without the extended battery.

I have the original Androidified(lots of small Androids) Cruzer Lite case with the volume/power rockers not cut out is this style the same thickness? I wouldn't mind it a bit thicker, also it the lip around the front of the phone higher?

It is actually thinner. The feel on this case is WAY better than his last one. And I LOVED his last case.

Just wondering if any of you using a Rock Quicksand case with your S3 have found a leather pouch that the duo will fit in?
I was thinking of buying the official case and hoping it will stretch, but any advice would be much appreciated.

Simply because the reviewer said it was loose, it is. Probably enough to get the phone+Rock on with a bit of work. Accepts mine no problem with a flip cover, which has a wider case back and the front flap. Not bad quality either.

Thanks for the reply! In the end, I took a chance and ordered the genuine Samsung Galaxy Note pouch which fits the combo perfectly.
Absolutely delighted.

You guys mind taking some shots of the S3 in note's pouch? I wanna see how snugly it fits into the pouch, and how easy it will be to take out.
I'm using the rock quicksand as well and I have been looking for comfort fit neoprene pouch, nothing skin tight.

The phone fits firmly in the note case but is also extremely easy to remove - if you squeeze the edges of the pouch together, the phone slips out freely.
Couldn't ask for more!

Nice! but it looks like it's made of leather (or faux leather). what's the inside like? same material? suede? I'm just paranoid of how it may scratch my screen. hence I've been looking for neoprene materials all these while. my nillkin protector is dry application hence doesn't cover everything. you reckon it'll be safe from scratches?
Looks like they don't have it locally though. Gonna need to order online....

The inside is a suede type material so shouldn't scratch the phone.

Youre worried about the 2 millimeter space around the screen protector that is of no actual use anyway? (which is also made of gorilla glass 2 and I have to assume it can withstand some soft suede)

any experience with the Luna 4XL yet? Got a Quicksand merely out of curiosity and I am so much impressed of the haptics it adds, don't want to return it. Still, more important to me is a pouch that protects the phone, especially the screen when it's in my pocket, laptop case, backpack, etc.
I hab pretty good experiences, case-wise with the Noreve on my HD2, but the S3 with the Quicksand so far did not fit into any of the pouches I tried. Placed an order for the Krusell, even though the Quicksand is thicker than the specs for the Luna are (10.8 vs 10 mm). We'll see how it fits...

Spigen Neo Hybrid or genuine bumper case?

What's your preferred? Genuine for stock look of more stylish with Spigen?

I picked up the Spigen Case Slim Armor -- liked the look of the white one & love TPU cases, even though this is a bit more plastic than TPU cases from CruzerLite.

personally the stock cases from the market seem a bit too painful to look at.... especially the yellow one, I already picked up a Neo Hybrid - Silver, I was at most considering stock grey

Those cases are freakin' gorgeous, just wish they had one in bright neon yellow.

I think the Neo Hybrid looks great, but I'm worried about the polycarbonate frame breaking. Look up the user submitted pics of the Neo Hybrid for the Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5 on Amazon. There are reports of the frame breaking near the charging port or headphone jack since it's thin in those areas.

Yea my sister's Galaxy S4 one broke. They apparently reinforced it with the new revision. But both my mom's and my sister's paint job did not hold up well and started peeling. I'm probably going with the Ultra Hybrid instead.

They are. I didn't get any response from their email customer service so I ended up using Twitter to contact them.

Wow thats a pretty big concern for me if thats the case. The case looked very appealing and had good color schemes. I don't care too much about the case peeling but as long as it doesn't break then I'm okay. I probably won't get it just incase unless Spigen sends a replacement without question incase anything happens.

But can't tell of they did this for the Nexus 5 version since it's just renders.

I would have gotten a genuine bumper if they were, a: available and b: came in white.
Seriously, bright yellow and red but no white? Gone for a spigen ultra hybrid, seems to keep the angles of the official bumpers but lets me see my white phone

I was disappointed with Nexus 4 genuine bumper: ugly, power button remains pressed (I had to cut with a cutter), bezel and chrome keys peeled off...

Poetic slimline bumper for the n4 was perfect, for me anyways. Fitment, looks, and colors were perfect. And the price was better too. They have them for the n5 available, being shipped in a few weeks.

Personally I didn't like the poetic bumpers. They felt very cheap in terms of the buttons as well as the bumper itself. It provides no grip to the bumper itself.

THE thinnest minimalistic Nexus 5 case Hands Down!!

If your a Nexus 5 purest or naked lover and are slightly concerned going naked even though you like the feel or if you just dont like bulky cases this could be the case for you and its only 3-4 bucks.
It's .3mm thin covers all sides except the small bottom portion and has all the appropriate cutouts along with the sim cut out and is semi transparent however you can not see the Nexus logo through the black one I have (but you probably could if you had the white N5 or a colored version of the case).
This case is probably not all that protective considering its thinness and has very small lay on the table design and it seems to only lift the rear camera lens a very tiny bit from the surface it rests on from what I can tell so all in all it will only really protect from is scratches and maybe small bumps.
As for feeling. It said it was a TPU but idk about that it doesn't feel like it it feels just like thin plastic, almost like those plastic folders from schools or offices, so it's bendable but not like standard TPU because I'm sure you could crease it if it was bent to much. The surface feels smooth but slightly rough (more smooth than rough) so it isnt as grippy as the naked nexus and can be slippery if your hands are dry. The bulk of it is almost non existent becuse it does really feel like there is nothing on the phone at all it feels the exact same size which is awesome for people that like the size of the phone and it fits pretty snug there's no give when gripping or squeezing the phone.
The only issues I would say it has is that the sides can be a little sharp (probably from the mold) and the bottom open section where your finger rests is kinda sharp too and since its not too too tight of a fit there, your finger can snag that section when you pull it away to readjust your phone. Im sure sanding can alleviate those things, but I have yet to try it. Also since its so thin the Volume and Power are pretty much flush with the cutouts for them so it can be a little hard to feel them.

Haha awesome, I was on another case buying craze a week or so ago and I ordered these exact cases as well (on Jan 2nd). I'm not a TPU case fan (hardshell all the way), but when I saw .3mm I said screw it, why not? I figured it's basically a skin and not really a case. So it should still appease my "next to nothingness" criteria.
I ordered all of the colors except pink and purple (so like 7 cases :laugh. When I get them I'll do a review with pics as well. I'll add them to your thread or start a new one depending on how long and pic heavy the post ends up being.

Yea Id call it more a skin aswell but it sounds good to me! Id love to see the other colors and how they look cause I may buy more! haha

So this one has no lip above the screen at all, rather unique for a case. One problem I have with the case lips is they interfere with gesture that use the left/right edge, like moving a shortcut between home screens. Still I would prefer to have lips on top and bottom to protect the screen when I put it upside down.

It does have a lip all around except for the bottom part of the phone. Even with my tempered glass protector there is a very small lip so without it im sure the lip would be more significant.

and there go my efforts to try and control my case addiction...

Case looks pretty good, does it scratch the corner of the N5 when you remove it like the Ringke slim does?

Nope it shouldn't because its not a hard plastic its more like a thin aslmost flimsy/rigid/semi-stiff plastic.
And yea the black semi transparent doesnt let the Nexus lettering come through but Im sure with the colored ones it may show a bit easier and the white nexus may show better than the black but I'm not to sure.
