Go in xParts thread here on XDA and download older version (v5), if it boots then (older CWM) try to update to v7 via Play Store and install CWM 5.5.0.4 again.

Go to theme/app section look for post about recovery by pvypart and download v5 install app then install cwm.
Then update app via play store to v7.
Look in sd card for xparts folder then move the recovery.tar to system/bin setting the right permissions check other files in folder for this.
Then you will get a working v7 xparts recovery.

What do you mean "flash" CWM? You mean click the "Install CWM" from the X-Part app? I've got the Lt15i I'm not sure if it works for it.

That's what it says on the screen, safe mode. How do you boot into recovery mode?
If you partition your sdcard your data into sdcard will lost. Try to backup sdcard first

Thanks I actually got it to work, I wasn't making the second partition primary. But still how do I boot in to "recovery mode"? I hold down the volume lower button when I turn on my phone and nothing happens.

It is the back button as soon as you see the Sony logo start pressing if this fails you need to move the recovery.tar to system/bin setting permission like this

Use root explorer to move file and set pemissions.

Dude,
If your on v5 like me.
Hold your power button, chose reboot from the menu.
The options should then be reboot, recovery and then boot loader.
Hope this helps.

Thanks bro, I have tried, but reboot menu only have one item. Which is a normal reboot. Btw, I am on V4. I have tried some app like Quickboot, Rom manager etc but when I tap reboot to recovery button it performs a normal reboot. Not booting into recovery...
Is v4 running off the fxp kernel? Using cm10 as a base?
If so when it boots up and shows free xperia logo. And your led goes purple press up on the volume to get in to recovery.

I think it has stock MIUI kernel. And when booting first it shows a sony white logo (not sony ericsson) and then MIUI logo. I tried keep pressing volume up but no luck. And there is no LED lights up at all...
Have you tried the volume buttons when the Sony logo appears?
Try both up and down.

Yes...I tried both. When I press volume down button it reboots into Safe mode.
The only other thing I can think of is to re install your recovery.
If that don't work extract your recovery files and then use flash tool to revert back to stock.
Then install recovery and drop the files back in.
