Since 1.9.5 I have not been able to use google music. I can see the music, but it doesnt cache the music or play. Is anyone else having this issue or have a fix?
Sounds like an issue in the upgrade process. Try reflashing and wiping the caches. Uninstall Google music and reinstall it as well (might want to try that first).

I have at problem with the navigation i google maps on my galaxy Nexus.
it simply crashes when every time i try to use it any one got a similar problem?
How can i fix it?
Not sure how you can fix it, but I don't have that problem.
I was using Google Maps couple of times and got no crash problem.
Do you have that issue with other GPS apps? Like other navigation apps? Try that.
Clear Cache and data of Google Maps and try again.
Are you on a custom ROM?
I am not on any costum ROM yet, and I am on version 4.0.1.
i have tried to clear both data an cache but it did not fix the problem
I have the same problem - stock ROM. It crashes on 4.0.1 and 4.0.2. Also tried to clear cache and uninstall updates. Nothing works
You could try downloading a GApps zip, search on here, then extract the navigation.apk and install manually? Turn off unknown sources, dump the apk onto the phone and launch it manually. Might work. Can't think of anything else. Good luck.
If i go into Navigation, then it crashes...the only way i was able to get navigation to work, is to search the address in google maps, then select navigate within the google maps app.
im not sure if you did this or not, but when you have hotplug enabled Navigation will force your phone to reboot when the screen is off. so if you have done anything with the cpu, that might cause the FC. (Undervolt, overclock, and hotplug(when screen is on) have no affect on navigation. Android 4.0.3)
Hi everyone!
I'm running Gin2Jellybean 2.4.0 on my Xperia Pro with LuPuS GB v1 kernel and for some reason my google play store keeps crashing when I want
to update or download something (as soon as the downloading bar appears, it closes). I tried clearing cache and data from Google play store and
Download manager without any success. I also tried to fix permissions but that did not work either. I'm using the version 4.1.6. This happened to me with X-Stronger ROM as
well so it might be a kernel problem but I don't know. I've heard of changing the cache partition to make it higher and it did have good reviews but I
have no idea how to do so. Can any of you please help me out with this problem?
Thanks!! :fingers-crossed:
Im on stock rooted 4.3 rogers and everytime I try to go to the playlists section of the stock music player it just crashes. The message music player has stopped pops up for a brief second then dissapears. I tried rebooting, clearing cache, and force stopping it to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this or know anyother way to fix this ?
By the way, I had recently installed viper audio mod and made the neccessary build.prop tweaks however, it didn't work for me so I uninstalled it and reverted the changes. Could I myself or the app have messed up something during this process ?

You may have done this but try clearing data that often works for me you can also try fixing permissions

I've been having this problem for about a week now. When I try to install an app that requires Wi-Fi I'm unable to install it on Wi-Fi or mobile data. It started when I flashed the inverted play store. So I wiped everything and installed insertcoin 1.6.0 and even like that I'm still getting the problem. I already tried uninstalling updates to the play store and clearing cache and data but still nothing. I can install any other app except if it requires Wi-Fi it'll give me error 963. Anybody else had this before. I was reading on the M8 forums that some of them have run into this problem but they just cleared data or uninstalled updates to play store and it worked for them
Here's another screenshot. Don't know how to fix this
After uninstalling updates and clearing the cache, did you try completely removing the Play Store from your device and then reinstalling? If you don't have the option to uninstall, you can use Titanium Backup. To reinstall, you can get the apk from here:

Hey Guys,
I am using the 3.5.5 build with 3.2.7 fw.
Everything is working fine except youtube videos keep stuttering. I tried changing resolutions (144p to 1080p) but nothing worked.
Also play store freezes when apps are getting updated/installed followed by SystemUI getting restarted.
is anyone facing the same issue?
im rooted and have xposed

Before posting any issues pertaining to software like fcs, lag or stuttering first do a clean install and see if everything works fine without the mods, then once you've ascertained the stability of a clean rom install one mod at a time to find issue causing mod.
If that appears to be a job too cumbersome then do the following
Xposed is major cause of such issues uninstall one module at a time and see if the issue is resolved.
Don't flash fw of one rom over other you never know how your rom and mod setup will behave to the new firmware.
Sometimes a restoring data of apps through Titanium backup could cause such issue try restoring the app alone then the data of apps you deem to be very essential.
The best way is to wipe your data clean and not install unnecessary mods.
Clear Cache
Try this for the play store:
1. disable (settings)
2. clear cache
3. show system apps (back in setting app menu)
4. disable and clear cache of google services framework
5. reboot
6. re-enable play services
I had a similar issue were I could not update apps via playstore and could not download any files on my device.
Additionally, google photos and the camera app closed themselves immediately.
Clearing app data for Download-Manager and Downloads followed by a restart fixed it for me.
