Hello! On my Desire HD pressed the lower left corner and at the same time inside something creaks. how to correct this deficiency? (if you press the back cover to the place where the creaking screen, then the defect disappears, but if its release - it creaks appear again).
Sorry for my english, I'm from Russia.
Nobody really knows?

I do not know what the cause might be that make it creak on the inside. [other then using to much pressure]
But I would advise you to not press that area of screen, Unless you have a reason to do so.
PS: Your English fine, other then it should be a E and not e in the word english.
Take Care

I get that creek too but I'm thinking its just the plastic case that holds the sd and sim card

Thank you for your answers. But how can this be cured? Can I put a something under the body?
Creaks, of course, do not interfere with work, but I do not like it.
The question is still actual

Does anyone else have any issue with the back button flaking? The arrow isn't as Sharp anymore it's more like a like with a splodge for and arrow.
Can show a picture if you want to see what I mean

Mine is very similar. It isn't flaking, but the silver paint is almost completely rubbed away. The rest of the buttons are completely fine.
It's only a small problem, but I love this phone too much to replace it
Happening the exact same thing with my donnow why or what I can do to prevent it from flaking even more! this sucks cause I didnät even know that the buttons had some sort of cheap coating on them
are yours ingraved or just painted on? Mines are ingraved and with alot of use it doesn't seem to be rubbing off..

Yep, exactly this. Bought late March and the first wear was this by early August. The whole end of the top arrow pointer has flaked off on the back button and I've never used nails for pressing it for such to exacerbate the wear nor let the phone get wet or leave exposed to above typical heat (etc).

Same!
All other buttons are fine. Top part of the arrow head is getting bigger and bigger.

My back button is fine, but the home button started to peel a bit
Maybe some batches of buttons are different ? Mine don't have this issue, but are starting to be unresponsive if I don't push quite hard on them.
Can confirm that button finishes do vary between Desires. I held my phone side by side with one in a Carphone Warehouse yesterday and noticed that the CW model had darker, shinier gunmetal buttons (like the black Desires?) whereas mine has the more matte, light grey buttons which have texture. I haven't had any issues with mine peeling thus far.
Hi all.
I've dissesambled my Wildfire to extend the cell antenna, but i can't find it anywhere.
Someone has any idea where it is and how it looks like?
I'm searching all day now so i'm really desperate atm
Many thanx!
ps: if someone helped me out, i will make a nice and clean tutorial for this.
The antenna assembly sits at the bottom of the device.

Skip to 01:22, it sits right under that cover.

Bottom of the phone
But how does it look like
Do you see a void sticker( warranty viod) on the bottem right corner screw of the phone, look on that part, you can see a line( covered by a black sticker) running to the bottom left end. Thatz the ant.
Be sure you may not screw up, itz delicate, if you apply so much heat while soldering you may damage it, its a printed strip. So do with caution. Damaged stip will cause no network to be detected.

hey
I put my elbow accidentally on my Desire and put some of my weight on that, and now the screen remains black (no image is formed - but screen is not cracked). Only a little spray (1 x 0.5 cm) of colory pixels (red...) near the middle bottom, above the optical trackpad.
Any hope this can be fixed (at reasonable cost)? Miss my phone already :-(
thanks.
Must have been a lot of pressure. You're going to need to get that replaced. It's cheapest to fry the part yourself and fit it but if you send to HTC, it will be more expensive but you may retain warranty

Yeah sorry about that. I was on a bus when typing. I was just about to correct a mispelled word when he went over a bump and made me accidentally submit my post.
So i got my phone few days ago but yesterday i noticed something strange with the phone so wanted to know if i have a faulty device or what so the problem is when i press the left side (the whole left side but most on the top left corner) of the display the edge when i press it a little harder not hard but a little harder than a regular touch i get that rainbow effect that you would get by presing directly the display of a plazma/lcd/led tv something like a rainbow or mixed colors when you press it

No, that have almost all HOX so far i know ... some users reported that with DHD and had no problems with that ... however, if you think it is a fault, you can always exchange it ...
I've had my HOX since release day, I've never had any rainbow effect.

It doesn't do it even if I squeeze it harder.

Read THIS and THIS ...
"Things not considered defects:
- LCD ripple on outer intentional pressure, this seems to go away with time if the lamination is perfect"
It should be better with time ... try to overheat it and cool down for 3-4 times and it should be better ... thats because the touch and the SLCD2 are glued together.

The glass is VERY close to the display, it dosen't seem to damage the screen though.
So my device is ok its not faulty??

Oh! finally someone got the same case I think the weakest part of the P6 is that plastic part at the bottom, not sure if its a manufacturing defect or what, but if there is enough pressure applied to that part of the phone something gets loose or something and makes it click when you press it.
