I changed the model twice Neo Xperia have bluetooth failure, I try to connect to the handsfree in my car but will not let me link.
Try the link but I always say (Linked but no connection), I have also the Xperia Mini Pro and connects to the headset nicely and without error.
I like this phone with failures per factory brings I dare not buy it, listen and read it works very well but it seems that I have bad luck with this phone.
If the next change comes with the same fault I have to find a different model and not what to choose, I have seen the LG Optimus 2X and I wonder if this phone is recommended
Get either the Samsung Galaxy S2 , the LG Optimus 2x or the LG Optimus 3D
Forever living in my Galaxy Ace using XDA App
Thank you very much for the reply, after trying ROMs and with the permission of the seller to try and find a solution that is resolved with the 2.3.4 ROM, I work Bluetooth works but has cost me, I still have the warranty for two years and I am delighted with this phone, of course follow your advice.
Again .... Thank you very much for your generous assistance
I will follow your advice and thank this great forum where you can find the solution to our problems

Hello people, i'm going to tell you something you should know if you are going to buy the Nyko Playpad.
(I'm not trying to discurage you from buying the controller i'm only gonna give you guys some info. Very good info.)
(Also, if i posted this in the wrong place, sorry, i'm new here.)
Anyway, what i was going to tell you is something that happend to me. I bought the controller to use it with my HTC Evo View 4G Tablet.
The controller claims to be compatible with any Android device, as long as it has a version of 3.0 and up, BUT, it won't work on ALL devices. (A guy from Technical Support told me this.)
So my problem is that I am able to pair the control and the tablet, but aren't able to establish a succesfull connection, after pairing the controller, they don't connect like they are suposed to, insted, the light on the controller goes back to flashing slow, I made sure everything was correct, folowed the instructions sevral times, but no luck. Clicking on the device from the list of devices wont work eather, i only get a message saying to press any key on the KEYBOARD to reconnect; pressed the hell out of the buttons sevral times and they still don't connect.
Later on this day today, i call technical support but they wernt much of help, all they told me was that not all devices are compatible, and to try to reset the controller that there is a button to do so and then to try again. I fond the pin hole but theres no botton, so there is no reset botton, nor does it say anywhare how to do so. (the hole doesn't even say "reset" like most holes.
The controller is not defective, i tried it on my friends Galaxy Tab 2 and it worked with no problem at all, it also works perfectly with my iPod 4g.
So what i'm trying to tell you is to do some background research to see if your device will be compatible, and for gods sake, make sure you are on Android 3.0 or above, some people don't even see that. (I forgot to check so myself.)
Here is a list of devices i tried and if they worked or not and a reason:
Verizon Galaxy Tab 7" (Galaxy Tab 1): Not working. Reason: Below Android 3.0
HTC Evo 4G: Not working. Reason: Below Android 3.0
Galaxy Tab 2: Working Perfectly.
iPod 4th Generation (Running IOS 6.1.3 Jailbroken): Works perfectly in iCade mode.
HTC Evo View 4G: Not working: Reason: Pairs but doesn't connect. (Yes I made sure it was running above 3.0, and my tablet is running on 3.1.2)
LG Optimus L9: Not working. Reason: Pairs but doesn't connect. (Didn't check what Android version it was running on, my friend took it away from me befor i could check.)
I also know that it works perfectly on the Galaxy Note II.
Again, im not trying to discurage you from buying it, its one hell of a good controller, only thing is that its kind of small, but you eventually get used to it after the first day.
It would be nice to have a list of comatible devices on their website, or somewhere, in fact, if there is non, we should all make one by saying which device they tried and if it worked or not.
One last thing, if you guys know how to make it work on the HTC Evo View 4G Tablet, please tell me, perferably something not requireing root, I've Googled to death and even made an account here for help and i got no reply... Or at least how to reset the controller.
Hope this was helpful to you people who want to buy the controller, if i made you change your mind about the controller, sorry, but this has to be somewhere to be found and known about. Thanks for taking your time reading this, and if you decide to help on my little connection problem, also thanks.

I don't know, i.don't have an Ouya, but it is Android Powerd if there is a way for them to connect then it might, but honestly, i've never bother to see what the Ouya is cpable of...
I know this thread is kinda old, but I just got one and am having trouble connecting. There is a little pinhole and a button down inside of it. You have to push straight down and you'll be able to feel it.

Whoa sorry for the year late reply, but i actually tried that pinhole thing and didn't fix it, i figured it was just my ex HTC tablet that was not compatible... so i guess just because it was in the 3.0+ or whatever, it doesnt really meen it will work, to this day, i gave the tablet to my little neice, and its still not compatible lol... but i have a Tab 4 7.0 and a Note 2 i use it with cx
hey guys,
Im expecting my LG G3 to arrive in a few days. This may sound a bit silly, but as i bought the phone used, can you tell me what things to check in order to make sure that it is working properly?
Do LG G3 phones have particular issues?
Thank you in advance!

So far....
Camera Lense can aparently "Crack/shatter" on its own.
Cracks can appear around, charging port/head phones port (maybe just a bad first batch of G3's)
Some people have been reporting the G3 rebooting at random - not a huge group though
Some users reporting "lag" using the stock launcher (mine seemed ok but NOVA is a tonne faster)
Some users reporting the G3 getting very very hot on use, to the point where it nearly burns your fingers
Some users reporting crackling through headphones while listening to music while phone is charging or engaging in heavy use
If you phone doesnt have any of these, you onto a winner
Hope this helped
Go to about this phone in setting.
Make sure it doesnt have a weird rom or kernel associated with it(if you want a stock g3)
Thank you very much for your responses. Got my phone today. Can someone gimme a print screen of the settings - about - aoftware information?
Thank you
My phone touch not work properly
Calibrate your phone, if problem persists try factory reset or kdz updater. If the problem is still there, it could be a hardware related problem.
Already calibrated and kdz updater but problem is same can battery may be problem because my phone is 3years old sogive me suggeget
According to my friend who used to work for a smartphone retail store the average "LIFE SPAN" of a smartphone these days is three years. So I guess having that phone for three years is really not that bad.
But if you really love that phone or on a tight budget, how about you try everything you can find here in XDA or google on how to fix your problem. Do a little research about it; it works for me most of the time and saved me a lot of money.
Well, If you don't have time to spend on reading threads, researching, or googling then that's the time to take it to the experts people like phone technicians.
That's the least I can do to help you. I'm not an expert you know.
Anyway thanks for suggestion
I understand that this forum is for advanced users, and mainly about rooting and development, but I have tried everything and everywhere else to find an answer. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon tech support, Sony, and LG Tech Support (totally useless). I feel that the folks here are more savvy on tech issues like this, and more likely to figure out a solution.
Soooooo, here is my issue:
I have an LG G4 running Android 5.1 and a Sony BDP-S5200 3D Blu-ray player (2015 Model). I live in the boondocks, with no cable or DSL for internet. Basically, my phone is my internet. I have been using a Droid Ultra for months to perform screen mirroring so that I can watch my phone apps (Crackle, Hulu, etc) on my big screen.
A week ago, I upgraded my cell phone from the Droid Ultra to a new LG G4. Since upgrading, I have not been able to use miracast. I turn on the "Screen mirroring" on my Blu-ray player, then go to my phone and turn on miracast. G4 searches and finds the Blu-ray, I tap on it to start, and it shows on both the phone and the Blu-ray that it is connecting. After about 30 seconds or so of watching the "connecting" dialogue, I get a message on the TV screen stating "Communications with Wi-Fi compatible device was disconnected". It won't connect at all, meaning the connection is never established, so it is not connecting and then dropping the connection. I never see the phone screen on my TV.
I have reset the Blu-ray player to factory defaults, and still cannot connect. I installed the software update to the blu-ray and tried again.... no luck. I even took the phone back to Verizon and got another new G4 phone, thinking maybe my phone was defective. Still doesn't work out of the box. Installed the update to the phone but no luck with Miracast.
It worked with my Motorola Droid, as well as my friends LG G3. Does anyone out there have a G4 phone and a BDP-S5200 blu-ray that works with Miracast?
I'd really need this to work so I can watch my shows. Thanks in advance for your help.
I have exact same issue. Same 2015 Sony Blu Ray device, same LG G4 phone. It worked fabulously with my Note 2. I moved to boondocks with no internet. I had to upgrade phone to a newer phone with LTE. I was told the phone would work with screen mirroring. eeeehh NOPE. I've researched and basically a bunch of guys got together, decided to come out with newer version that would force us to buy these dongles so we can get connected again. Greedy bastages. I'm very upset and disappointed.
I'm still looking for ways to do this without having to buy something. It was working before so why mess with something that wasn't broken. Oh that's right. Profit.
Good luck.
Anyone figure out a fix? Sprint G4 works fine stock, but doesent work when rooted or on Ultra Pop.
Same here. My LG G2 was working perfectly with my Sony BDP-S5200. I have a new LG G4 (AT&T) and I can't make it connect.
Hello,
Short story :
I have a LG G3 D855 16GB running Android 6.0 with the following problems :
SIM and SD Card not working. The phone doesn't detect the cards.
The speaker is not working (i still have audio through the 3.5 jack or via bluetooth)
It reboots randomly
Wifi stops sometimes (works again after one or two reboots)
The phone is pretty much useless.
I only use it as an external monitor with my dslr via the "dslr controller" android app
I thought maybe installing cyanogen since i never used it. But i don't know much about these things
Any ideas/suggestions on what to do with this phone are welcome.
Long story :
I bought this LG G3 early 2014 and used it during a year; it was a wonderful phone and i was really happy with it until its sd/sim cards stopped working one morning last january (2016)
LG fooled around with my warranty request for months.
After verifying my invoice and purchase details, they asked me to send the phone to one of their partner repair-shops.
The repair shop sent it back to me saying they won't repair it pretending it's a foreign phone. I called LG, they checked the imei and told me it's not a foreign phone and the shop should have repaired it and offered to fix things and get back at me. They never called me back. I kept calling back and asking for the repair during five months then i gave up and bought a xiaomi redmi note 3 pro.
So i'm looking for

So, for links, I found that its easier to tell you. Download SuperSU ZIP, Use kingroot to temporarily root, get autorec for your variant, and do as it says, when it installs the recovery, reboot to it and install SuperSU
