Try SEUS or Flashtool. Hope you haven't unlocked the boot loader.

What will happen if I've unlocked the boot loader?
My Xperia now can not be recognized by the PC Companion, it just lights a RED LED. How to fix the problem?
Thank you.

If you have unlocked the boot loader, try flashing a different firmware using flashtool. Or if you have any custom kernel installed? Try going into cwm recovery. Dont worry!

red light blinking means battery low !!

[Q] How to unbrick Arc S LT18i no leds

I've been searching tutorials from start to finish and can't find solution to my problem.
I have a Arc S from a friend that's bricked it gets stuck on sony ericcson logo.
Tried PC Companion not detected
Tried Update Service not detected
Tried Flashtool it detects phone as connected but without developer mode
18/005/2012 14:05:49 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
18/005/2012 14:05:49 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
I hold back key, no green led
I hold menu key, no blue led
Doesn't enter fastboot mode or flashmode.
Anyone knows how can i recover it? I don't know if it's unlocked bootloader or custom firmware or anything.
I think it maybe a kernel problem but didn't find tutorial to flash it without flashtool.
Regards,

Tried that already, when i hold the buttons (either back or menu) no led lights up when i connect usb it just shows the sony ericsson logo...
Regards.
Usb debug needs to be on

From what i've been told it died overnight during an OTA update.
The only too ways the computer detects it is by getting stuck on sony logo and flashtool detecting it as usb debug disabled or by doing the testpoint and computer detecting it as a Zeus Flash Device.
All the other ways, holding buttons etc's always gets me to the stuck logo no leds no nothing.

Yes it's on a full battery.
Regards,
Is there any tool that can flash a device in Zeus Flash mode?
If you can't get the Phone in flashmode as you've already stated then you need a service centre. The only other alternative is to contact Alejandrissimo or Jinx13 who have SETool and will try and help remotely.

hello i have a same phone as u and same problem .. can u tell me do u find solution ??? thanks
So were you just doing a standard OTA update and then you ran out of battery?
If you want, you could try Sony's new EMMA software for returning devices with unlocked bootloaders back to stock.
Did you unbricked you phone? I have the same problem after a wipe data from clocworkmod and i am unable to go in flashmode or recovery. Fashtool detect my device but just like your with debug off...
So did you manage to fix your device? Thx and srru for my bad english. Oh and my phone is locked.

First charge your phone for a while, then download flashtool and sony xperia s official firmware.
As your phone is switched off, press and hold volume down button and connect it to the pc, green led will turn on,then flash your phone with flashtool.
I always use this method when i brick my xperia s.

Try installing PC Companion or/and Sony update service and maybe you could use one of them to recover and install stock rom again
Or if you can't install it using PCC or sus, try flashtool again, because the two sony programs will install drivers , too

I have exactly the same problem with 2 of my xperia S'es. I really want to fix this issue, because it's beginning to be expensive to buy one after the other. Always going into this without really knowing why.
Neither PC Companion, Sony Update Service, or Emma work to recover....
For now i'm following this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049813& :good:

Your phone boots in a sequence. Like this your phone boots (Boot loader) and loads your System.IMG ( Android)
They talk to each other now they don't why?
Simple you changed your system.IMG now your BL doesnt know how to talk to your system.
Here is the fix. the Ota (over the air) update broke it. Android version 2.3.4 looks to see if your BL is locked if it not it ignores boot loader. So relock it flash this file to relock ftf.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/g1b5j712ajx4yjd/Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf
Then unlock and start over. But this time around use root explorer to delete mobile care apk so when you give it to him he can't update it.
Please hit the thanks but to

I tried, till it went vibrate 3 times. But the booting was still stuck on SONY logo
Keep your mobile for charging for some time and then reboot,I think it's the battery bug that's preventing the boot..you may have ignored low battery level (below.20%) which may have caused the phone to switch off..

If seus doesn't recognize your device then Download ftf (firmware file) specific to your device and region (search for it in android development) then flash the firmware using latest version of flashtool(really easy and only takes little time)...also remember to check only appslog while flashing and unchecking others(cache, etc),this will flash the firmware without loosing any data and will surely get u rid of the bootloops..for more help this page will help you to flash the firmware properly....( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2229250)

Repair your phone using PC Companion. Just follow the instructions from the program and your phone should be fully functional in a couple of minutes.
same problem here
my xperia arc s turns on until the sony logo and then stays there forever.
It doesn't seem to charge either when i put it on charge as the red light is off .
How to connect with companion since it doesn't do anything ?

Visit the support zone, use the specific tool for when phone does not boot up. Just look around, you will find it. It will not require you to turn on your phone.
Thanks
Got it ...

To use pc companion your phone has to boot up and it's impossible to update or fix phone that doesn't boot up via PC Companion you can only fix it with flashtool or SEUS,SEUS can fix the phone when it's turned off it's just like flashtool.

Wrong.
PC Companion has the solution for when phone does not boot up, SEUS does not have it.
