Hi friends.
I decided to start porting android Gingerbread (CM7) for
Samsung Galaxy Tab.
In this topic, I will write the latest news on the progress
development.
I'll be glad if somebody from the other developers
to join the porting.
I have a European version of Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000)
and especially would benefit from participation in the development of people
with the CDMA version.
**Donate Link Removed**
I'll be glad to
donations and if other programmers to join the development of the port
that donations will be distributed among all participants in the
development.

I've been playing around with cm7 for the past couple days. I haven't made any progress. Glad to see someone else (who knows what they're doing) working on this.

You might want to get in contact with the gents working on the CyanogenMod port to the Galaxy S, considering the similarities between that and the Galaxy Tab.
super excited for this; really can't wait for a good rom to make this device shine. currently fully stock CDMA Sprint tab here and willing to test.

Its doesn't really matter, once you get a device and vendor set up with the correct hardware profile and proprietary files (pulled from the tab) you just need a working kernel and you're good to go.

I have a US Cellular Tab that I can test and bug report with.
i am working on this atm too, but i didnt want to open a thread because of everyone just shouting around "i can help u testing" and no productive answers!
i will be slower, because my tab has jmc with signed pbl and zimage so i cant flash zimages and need to borrow a friend ones from time to time! maybe we can help each other to get fully working GB soon!
Unimaginative
Yes, I'll use developments of Galaxy S CM7 port.

Hello there,
I like my new "different kind of phone", but, it's quite empty, and boring right now while it's only released.
Does anyone have information if it's possible to boot android on Samsung Omnia 7?
Thanks!
sure...
not happening now. Enjoy wp7
BUMP
Would also be interested in this. The Omnia 7 is a great phone, but the OS is not up to the job as yet so giving users the option to flash with Android would be cool, are you telling me no one is looking into this project as yet?
cheers
M.
I highly doubt it
Why.... Theres been a few phones that run WM that have had android flashed to them such as the HTC-HD2. the only question is will someone do it
Please read the rules. Thread closed.

I would like to, but could you also port the stock SGSII theme to JVQ. I was having a lot of trouble porting it so I thought maybe a pro could do it.
This would be incredible! Would love if you could port this over to the SGS I!
And +1 for the SGS II theme, but Id rather have this of the two.
I know back there, when i had sgs, that there wasn't any good port of sgsII touchwiz. I don't know now.
Lets wait to see if at least more ppl want this theme on SGS and ill start doing it
Cheers,
Vert

Can anyone port the overscroll from the original Samsung Galaxy S II? Not the one from CyanogenMOD, but the exact one. Sorry for being so picky, but its a beautiful overscroll effect. Thanks Guys, looking forward to this.
Funny, I was just thinking about how it's too bad none of our ROMs have this effect.
Here's a second to the request.
Just because Apple has a patent on overscroll lists doesn't mean a community ROM needs to care!

Yeah, I think the chances of them finding out are very scarce. But, wont just porting an Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 ROM, and then wouldn't we have it? Or take the framework from the i9100 and put it on ours?
yea i would like to hav it as well
I'll see with my novice skills, what I can do
Bump... Waiting for a developer to see v.v
ASALAMOALIKUM Friends,
Whats up guys! I am going to start "My Point Of View" thread series in which we will (In Shaa Allah) discuss and rate the roms for our SGY GT s5360.
Remember the series of threads is not related to disheart/discourage anyone but to tell others what is missing in his/her rom
Hope you will like it.
