Hi friends.
I decided to start porting android Gingerbread (CM7) for
Samsung Galaxy Tab.
In this topic, I will write the latest news on the progress
development.
I'll be glad if somebody from the other developers
to join the porting.
I have a European version of Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000)
and especially would benefit from participation in the development of people
with the CDMA version.
**Donate Link Removed**
I'll be glad to
donations and if other programmers to join the development of the port
that donations will be distributed among all participants in the
development.

I've been playing around with cm7 for the past couple days. I haven't made any progress. Glad to see someone else (who knows what they're doing) working on this.

You might want to get in contact with the gents working on the CyanogenMod port to the Galaxy S, considering the similarities between that and the Galaxy Tab.
super excited for this; really can't wait for a good rom to make this device shine. currently fully stock CDMA Sprint tab here and willing to test.

Its doesn't really matter, once you get a device and vendor set up with the correct hardware profile and proprietary files (pulled from the tab) you just need a working kernel and you're good to go.

I have a US Cellular Tab that I can test and bug report with.
i am working on this atm too, but i didnt want to open a thread because of everyone just shouting around "i can help u testing" and no productive answers!
i will be slower, because my tab has jmc with signed pbl and zimage so i cant flash zimages and need to borrow a friend ones from time to time! maybe we can help each other to get fully working GB soon!
Unimaginative
Yes, I'll use developments of Galaxy S CM7 port.
all
Plz
Request until the
beginning of public testing do not flood and spam the topic if you isn't
developer and can't assist in the development.
hi, i found that thread in the forum. is there any person, who be able to port that bootanimation for the galaxy s i9000 ? that would be very nice of you, thanks.
Hi,
I read on the internet that the B5510 Galaxy Y Pro is one of the most sold android phone, yet there are no custom roms/kernels available, so says google & bing...
does anyone know if there are any ? where ?
why is that? how come roms from "Galaxy Y GT-S5360" can't be ported ?
Thanks a lot
Plz create q/a thread in general section and there is no custom kernel/rom for galaxy y pro
Wrong section. This is for gt-s5360 only.
wrong section dude

My friend, apart from similar names, these 2 phones are vastly different!! For one, the Y pro has a qwerty keyboard and touch screen plus the screen size is smaller and I'm sure the board must be vastly different as well which means different GPU etc.
To expect DEVS to suddenly start developing for this phone in the GT-S5360 thread is a bit unfair. I feel your pain though bro
Hope you guys get devs soon.
Devs cant get too much if they didnt have the phone to test.. Its hard to develop from scratch, what else if you didnt have the phone

Do NOT install any software for "similar" devices, Ive done that mistake and almost bricked it for good.
Send your plea to some Devs.
Hi guys,
I'm posting this again because my username have been changed, and I think the original thread is lost of because of that
(or unless this thread is not meant to be in this section of the forum, Dear Mods, do help me move it accordingly..Thanks!!)
Here's the previous text:
Just wondering, why are there so few custom ROMS for the N7105 (Note II LTE), while there are so many N7100 ones that span across so many pages??
Is it because we do not have enough N7105 users or the N7100 will someday be ported over ??
I've given up hope. I really don't think the devs are interested in our model
I was about to buy a n7105 tomorrow hope they do port over to the LTE model
Oh man, Check It Out!! There are already 4.1.2 N7100 ROMs ..
Really wish N7105 will be as popular (or widely available) someday ..
or at least we get some good ones ported over
The guys behind CyanogenMod have been working hard to get CM 10.1 (based on the Android 4.2 branch) on as many devices as possible. Now, the first builds are available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE.

Hi, I'm new to this community. This is actually my first cellphone, it's a Samsung Galaxy Ace II X (Rooted), and I've been referred to this forum a lot during the rooting process, but there doesn't seem to be an actual Ace II X section around here, and everything in this section seems to be for the Ace II only... Is this the right place to ask about my cellphone in the future? (Sorry if my thoughts aren't put right on paper, I'm doing a lot at once right now )
