Did you have two resets just one after the other? Then, the 1-minute-rule (also seen here http://www.winmobiletech.com/092006SafeMode/Spb31SafeModeRebootRules.bmp.png - also see the Safe Mode Bible, http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1255&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 , if interested) will kick in.

Dunno why it's doing so. The easiest way is completely disabling Safe Mode in Spb Pocket Plus. Just untick the "Safe Mode" checkbox in the config screen.

XDA Stealth no bootloader (cannot boot)

Dear all,
i've got 2nd hand xda stealth for 2 weeks, now my stealth cannot boot (black screen, call and End Button are light) after i flash my stealth with wrong ram with nb0 extension on miniSD. please any one can help me to recover my Stealth ?

go to www.seeo2.com, download a rom upgrade utility from there.. then start upgrade procedure again. As xda stealth is a hybrid phone..dont try any custom roms on it..

i already download the upgrade rom from the o2 site (now is www.mwg.com), i put the rom to my SDCard, the problem is how can i enter the boot loader, in case my stealth always in blank screen with call and end button are light.
i already press press power + call + end button, but my stealth stuck on that condition. every method of flashing mode i already try but no response from my stealth.

oh yea malhar, for information i read the procedure for upgrading on o2 site that connect status is required for upgrading procedure in activecync, my stealth has disconnected status when i plug to my com. can i do the upgrade the rom in this case?

buddy, remove ur sd card from the device first..and then hard reset ur device by pressing reset button via stylus, then flag which is windows home key and then ok key..reset+flag+ok.. maintain the sequence..press reset first keep on pressing then flag and ok key.. it will format ur device.... then try to flash new rom on it

Your SPL boot loader sounds like it is gone, formatted...
You may be able to patch it, using scripts & mtty if you can get into DL mode. Sounds like you're stuck in OEMSBL though.

i have try pressing flat and ok botton to format . but nothing appear on the screen . is the other way to format or upgrade rom .

• The device doesn't boot, I see only O2 logo. Hard reset doesn't help and the Firmware update process stops with the first message?
1. turn off the device;
2. enter engineering mode;
3. in Main menu choose Boot Config;
4. in Configuration menu choose EBOOT-Launch Image;
5. turn off the device;
6. now hard reset or upgrade firmware.
Sometimes helps another method: leave the device without the battery for about 30 minutes, then turn your O2 XDA Stealth on.

Have you tried removing the battery for few hours ??? Does the engineering mode work???

i have a O2 tealth hanged on O2..... i tried hard reset but din work .... i downloaded new rom and software for updation .....but the problem is i cannot connect to pc.... active sync is installed...... plz help

It worked for me
Goto to your PDA setting and uncheck USB to PC.
Note: Check task before connecting to USB ensure no task including Active Sync.
FYI.
Im using VISTA Ultimate to update my XDA.
From WB 6.1 back to WM5. WM 6.1 too buggy and battery drained fast.

i have the same problem --- my stealth is absolutely dead after using a cheap local charger
i have dismantled the board and taken some pics of the jtag connectors -- made the common LPT port jtag cable
how to proceed from here ?????
is the procedure similar to that of jtag recovery of a flame or an atom exec ??
how do i find the bootloader for O2 Stealth for flashing the NAND memomy Disk on Chip ??

Phone won't start up ?

Here's the thing , I unlocked my bootloader and rooted my phone a while back (probably using an already outdated software , if i remembered correctly it was 2.3.3 , but i knew i followed the instructions here

Today, my phone asked if I wanted to update the software (like an automated software update) and i could choose to update or not and i chose yes but now , my phone won't start up for like 3 hours already . I tried turning it on but it won't turn on , i tried charging it but there isn't any lights which was supposed to be there .
So I decided to google it and i followed the instructions here

but after installing both , choosing my phone , followin the instructions on update service , it gets stuck on "it contains a modified software that cannot be updated" so decided to come back here to ask you guys what I should do .
Right now , all I want to do is for my phone to start up again , any ideas ?
edit : right now , i took out the battery , and put it back in . This time when I tried to turn it on , the vibrate is there which wasn't there initially and theres 1 flash of the green light on the side of the phone .
and also , i think its recognized by the computer because i can hear the sound notification (the same sound when you plug a USB into a computer) which wasn't there before I did the update service thingy .
edit 2 : it won't go into safemode either when i tried clicked the right and left buttons below the display (the menu and back button) and the power button after that . yes i tried reinserting the battery .
edit 3 : I'm not sure if this'll help but my phone is recognized as SEMC flash device (i checked on device manager) and theres a green colour non flashing light when i plug my phone into the pc .

Guys, I was trying to modify my phone so that applications would be saved in memory card instead of internal storage, so I rooted it and stuff.. Now it won't turn on!!! When I switch it on, it shows the SE logo and does nothing else.. I tried to enter the safemode menu (holding left and right keys when switching on, or volume down key and home key when turning on) but nothing works!!! I'm like desperate now so any help would be really appreciated!

Try to flash a new(er) kernel with recovery and install a new rom (your phone is ota-bricked, so if that doesn't work, search on XDA)

no download mode - in any condition

Before you are sure... Bootloader is dead...
1.
Remove battery for few minutes
2.
Be 100 % sure your battery is NOT empty...
Good luck.
Btw.:
I saw this error often in posts from other users... maybe this has nothing to do with Product Code...
Often between bada 1.x and 2.0 change or Bootloader change general...

its verry problematique if you dont have another battery cause now you cant recharge it.
Then there's trick what you can do.
Im serious i do it but be carrefull..
We know wave recharge white usb and usb its 5volt then try to find other recharge you dont use it and cut the positive and negative lead then look on battery put in to recharge it directly 1 or 2 min then you can flash the important bootfiles to rc1 first

I never flash my cell - if I dont have at least 80% power of the battery
I think it is something with the change of the product code ( I have changed to 8600)
and error of security I got - in the dbl.mbn
If you dont have any magic trick to offer , then my phone is dead (Jtag or riff box at least )

if the phone seal still intact,
go to samsung service center.
they will give you a new phone.

I have a LG g3 (LGD855..) and yesterday it suddenly crushed and didn't come back - i pulled out the battery and put it in again and the it came back with a weird error:

Of course it didn't got into dload mode. I did some digging and found that is fatal error of the device and nothing can be done but try hard reset - but then I tried something else i read that is to pull both power b and v down button at same time when starting and get into safe mode - i tryed that - it didn't got to safe mode but it booted correctly!!! its alive!! - NOT FOR LONG. I managed to backup about 50% of my files and then it crushed again to the same kernel error. This morning I pulled out the battery and put it back after an hour and it came to a situation where the LED is in like greenish and blue light fading and the LG life's good (sure..) screen is showing - stuck like that and every few min changing the animation but no more than that. I managed to get the message "device" on adb so I figure maybe I can pull some files out of it, or maybe push a recovery like twrp and try to do something from there.. but i still want my 50% data left there so factory reset is really the last resort. Please help me.. what is my best option?

Did LG made stories about the root?They don't tollerate it...
I'll send in service..in a hope they don't spot the root.
