Hi, a friend have 2 pda universal from vodafone that he has flashed and killed. I don´t know what happend. pda always shows USB and v1.00. After a lots o rom updates still dead, i have JAFWM, but with or without this machine is dead.
any rom especial version?

1. Try to restart the device in bootloader mode(Light key, power and reset pressed together)
2. Look at the display (should say Serial and version at the bottom)
3. Disable the USB connection in Active Sync otherwise the update will crash.
4. Plug in USB Cable (Screen Should now show USB at the top)
5. Start original Upgrade from your provider or take the upgrade you want to use with the MA_UpGrade_noid.exe.
6. After Flashing restart device with both soft keys at the bottom of the screen ( Buttons with - on it) pressed.
7. When asked type 0 to erase all data.
9. Device should start normally, if it doesn't do not hesitate to ask.
device always start in bootloader mode, i flash all times without problems, but when i restart device, automatically puts on bootloader mode.
after flash, make factory settings but,after this, restart in same mode.
always, when i run update program soft MaUpgradeUt_noID, detects no rom in pocket loaded.
strange problem on 2 pda´s ?

That shouldn't be a problem. Just continue to flash the rom. There could be a problem with your bootloader and the upgrade version (AKU2) you want to use.
Maybe it's a problem with bootloader.

i think same as you, only problem with ROM image, but i have flashed many roms but I can´t revive device. So i ask name of Rom tht can revive pda.

The rar file mentioned above is only the bootloader you already got on your device.
In your case i would use an old AKU1 rom and to see if it works.

Did you try to update your phone to the latest orange rom for testing yet ?
If not try it out (I know it is said to be slow, but only if all orange customizations are installed) If it runs then its ok.
Otherwise try to use the exitbl.exe mentioned somewhere in this forum, hopefully it works.
connect to mtty and issue set 14 0 and then restart the device or use exitbl utility by buzz

I had same problem like you, can you tell me what exactly did you do so you can repaire your phone.
I used T-mobie and didn't work after upgrade rom too, it's alway stop in boot loader screen. I tried up rom of T-mobile, Imate, Dopod but nothing to work, I don't know how to repair it, it's still can up rom normaly, nothing wrong while upgrade, it's only don't work after finish.

go to www.seeo2.com, download a rom upgrade utility from there.. then start upgrade procedure again. As xda stealth is a hybrid phone..dont try any custom roms on it..

i already download the upgrade rom from the o2 site (now is www.mwg.com), i put the rom to my SDCard, the problem is how can i enter the boot loader, in case my stealth always in blank screen with call and end button are light.

oh yea malhar, for information i read the procedure for upgrading on o2 site that connect status is required for upgrading procedure in activecync, my stealth has disconnected status when i plug to my com. can i do the upgrade the rom in this case?
buddy, remove ur sd card from the device first..and then hard reset ur device by pressing reset button via stylus, then flag which is windows home key and then ok key..reset+flag+ok.. maintain the sequence..press reset first keep on pressing then flag and ok key.. it will format ur device.... then try to flash new rom on it

Your SPL boot loader sounds like it is gone, formatted...
You may be able to patch it, using scripts & mtty if you can get into DL mode. Sounds like you're stuck in OEMSBL though.

i have try pressing flat and ok botton to format . but nothing appear on the screen . is the other way to format or upgrade rom .
• The device doesn't boot, I see only O2 logo. Hard reset doesn't help and the Firmware update process stops with the first message?
1. turn off the device;
2. enter engineering mode;
3. in Main menu choose Boot Config;
4. in Configuration menu choose EBOOT-Launch Image;
5. turn off the device;
6. now hard reset or upgrade firmware.
Sometimes helps another method: leave the device without the battery for about 30 minutes, then turn your O2 XDA Stealth on.

It worked for me
Goto to your PDA setting and uncheck USB to PC.
Note: Check task before connecting to USB ensure no task including Active Sync.
FYI.
Im using VISTA Ultimate to update my XDA.
From WB 6.1 back to WM5. WM 6.1 too buggy and battery drained fast.

Hi guys! After upgrading my ROM to "838Pro_HK_ENG_WM6_Upgrade_20070712" I can't connect my device to pc anymore... My PC found it as a "Generic RNDIS" but now it finds it as "Generic Serial"...
My active sync and RUUWrapper cannot find the device... I want to change my ROM. Need help!

Why didn't you try to force the device to bootloader and try again? DON"T PANIC!!!
Then Use the RUU tool attached! and put your favorite xxx.nbh in the folder

side "ok" button + power button, keep pressing (like squeezing), then pick the bottom reset hole for half second then ONLY release the reset, keep pressing the 2 buttons until you see the 3 colors.

I forced the device to the bootloader but it can't connect to PC. My PC founds a new hardware: USB Drive and cannot install it...
What should I do now??!

2. reset your Hermes, or
3. uninstall Active-sync, then install again (may need to restart PC again),

P.S. be sure that you had tick the usb connection option from the activeSync option. ^_^

i tired, it did not work. quick question, i called htc for help and they belive the device has failed. i think i have installed some program that is confusing the active sync because it is not completely installed. the program is called netcf something. any feedback would be great!

I have Lumia 930 with W10M ....yesterday,i deployed "root app" and "CustomPFD" .xaps to my device...to get Interop Unlock and Full FS Access,but i think i do something what i shouldnt do...
My probles is: when i connect my device to PC using same USB cable as yesterday an any other day....it just pop up messenge about slow charger,normalny its pop up if i wanna use cable to move items and stuff from/to my device...but now i just cannot connect my L930 to PC....it just charges my phone...can u guys please tell me how to solve this problem??
It happened to me yesterday. The issue is activating full MTP access. It doesen't work properly. It has a slim chance for your pc to detect the system files. I recommend you use customPDF registry editor to revert the changes (search this forum). Or factory reset will do, but it will be a hassle setting up your phone all over again.

I searched....and tryed that "enable and disable" method in CustomPFD...i seriously dont wanna factory reset my phone...ohhh....that so bad
EDIT: Oh.nothing works....i think i need to do factory reset...when its done ill post next EDIT if it works
You have to do it manually. I found this. This is the exact process i did with cPDF.

Did you restart? And press write like 10x. Unplug your phone, wait. If it did not work, just unplug/replug until your pc detects it.

I did factory reset...now it works like a charm...but while formatting,i rimebered that i forgot to backup my photos.... ...so i dont have my photos now....
Ouch... I feel you brother. Just do interop unlock, i dont find full mtp access that really useful.

Okay,at least i have some of photos on Onedrive form WP8 .....at least something....okay...so i dont need Full MTP access really.....so just interop unlock from "root tool"...and what to choose? just Interop,Interop+Capability or Win10 Capabilities? and...ive seen on 1 threat what there is option to bring on 5 Quick Access tiles...how to do that??

Having this issue on my Lumia 830. I did the registry changes (tried combo of upper/lowercase for the registry key) and nothing worked.
Eventually, after trying boot mode (the ! window) I am locked out of all my jailbreak apps. I suspect the boot loader (holding the volume key down until the ! screen loads) locked my capabilities.
Oh well. Windows Recovery Tool says there's new Firmware for the 830 (much newer than what's on my phone). Yet another full restore is in the works for me. Hope anyone reading this doesn't make the same mistake I did!

So, yesterday i've hard resetted my lumia 1020 with 14393.1003 and it restored backup normally. During normal usage suddenly rebooted and showed "not for resale" and then blank start screen. Settings are accessible via swipe, but soft touch buttons doesn't work. Apps are not accessible, but i can navigate trough settings menu . Keyboard works. under "about" I can't see any IMEI and i can't hard reset from here because it says that reset protection is enabled.
Problems:
1. can't enable wifi, cellular and bluetouth (says: "can't do this now, try to reboot... etc", but doesn't help)
2. reset protection is enabled, I don't know why, I'm not in America. I cannot disable it because I cant access internet any more (no cellular no wifi...)
3. tried wdrt, ends with error. cannot hard reset in any way.
Any suggestion?

-relock GDR3 devices which have been retail unlocked with MSFT packages
are not booting if Blue SW is updated via FFU flashing.
Re-lock operation should be done prio to flashing Blue FFU.

My last firmware is GDR2, does it apply?

Dont know. -relock is a thor2 command. Read the help from thor2 window.
Check "Documents\Non-Production Errors.txt" if you have the "Not For Resale".
And a download mode flash may slove your problem. (using the emergency files provided by lumiafirmware.com)
Or try WP Internals?

can you explain what do you mean with "download mode"?
if u want to reset there is a combination with the volume keys try that one...it may reset your device back to normal!!

Enable lumia flash mode and use the firmware method in WDRT.
so, the problem is that i cannot downgrade because of protection... but, if I'm not wrong i can upgrade... but now my phone runs 14393.1066 and I can't find a newer rom to flash.

Turn it off. Then press the power key + the volume up key. Keep pressing the volume up key until you see a lighting with a gear. Connect the phone to your PC and flash using Windows Phone Image Designer (WPID). You can get the appropriate FFU file for your phone from lumiafirmware.com

You can use the explorer on your phone.
And maybe you cant even enter the download mode, if wpinternals didnt work
