So I purchased PowerAMP full and when I go to download the trial it tells me I don't have enough space on my phone, the thing I don't get is I have over one gig of space on my internal memory. Is any one else having this problem?

You might want to check how much memory you have on your SD card. I believe its trying to download to your sd

Market or the app is telling you this? If the market try a reboot, thing has no idea what it's talking about sometimes.

I hadn't heard of Samsung free apps before, but engadget ( http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/21/samsungs-in-a-gifting-mood-is-giving-away-up-to-16-free-games/) just listed a method for getting free apps from Samsung. Apparently you instal an apk and tell the store you're in Europe. Unfortunately the apk is only for the 9100 ie ATT.
EDIT: Just use the apk ysuleman posted below, it works and is easy.
Or you could pull it from the telus roms, they come with a version for our phone.
is there any new word on this? i know our gs2 is only 1 of 5 vairents but it still falls under a gs2.
The Samsung apps works on both of Mr. x's ROM's. I had trouble trying to pull it from there and use them It on other ROM's.

I'm getting this error whilst trying to download new apps from the play store. It's letting me download updates just not new apps, and as you can see I have plenty of storage space.
I did a few searches but was unable to come up with a solution. I've tried wiping cache and dalvik, fixing permissions, wiping play store data, and wiping Google services framework data. No joy...
Any other ideas?

I am getting this message too and I have even done the swap of internal and external memory.
This is an old problem with the market. Let the market update and try again. Sometimes clearing cache in recovery fixes it.

I haven't used this app , but it says you can lock any app and the uninstaller...so it might be worth a look..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287214
I'm not sure if it will lock the app totally or if it has settings...sorry. I dont have time today to check it out...But I can later.
Hope this helps..
Hello,
I flashed Calkulin's ROM a few weeks ago and I got the 'system update available' message this morning.
Is there a way to disable this message, since I am not planning to apply the system update.
Thank you in advance.
Yes, quite a few. If you use Xposed Framework there is a Syscope Blaster module. If not look for FOTAkill, I know it's somewhere in the General section.

Thank you very much.
I also noticed that it appeared under the Task Manager as 'Google Services Framework'. I killed the app and it's gone for now. It will probably re-appear when I reboot.

I have no idea what it could be...I have tried other launchers, same problem..
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
I fixed this problem by factory reset, after reset phone remember settings
Clear the cache for the lg launcher and open you other one nova , apex or whatever one you're using and set as default. Also go into system settings>display>home and at default there as well. Then reboot and it should work. Optionally you could go into recovery and clear the cache and reboot.
