I haven't used this app , but it says you can lock any app and the uninstaller...so it might be worth a look..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287214
I'm not sure if it will lock the app totally or if it has settings...sorry. I dont have time today to check it out...But I can later.
Hope this helps..

you have a app somewhere that's doing it
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Shazam causes that alot, but what he said above its a application. Whenever that pops up think of what application you just got down running or closed out of, and that should be the cause.
What browsers do you have installed?
I get that every so often as well

Use this app to determine what you installed on your phone that has notification based advertising:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector

Download no lock from the market.

It have the settings for that.
No need for 3rd Party apps.
Go to Menu-Settings-Security-Lock Screen-Select none.
Job done!

I'm pretty sure it's there so when you accidentally turn it on in your pocket, you don't go calling random people and burning thru the battery. Just sayin

thank you jesus
Why would you use 3rd party app to disable a freaking lock screen. I wish it was simple as wm 6.5 registry edit that *****.
Havent installed anything new lately, but obviously been keeping apps updated.

Looks like dungeon hunters 3 i used to get those when i had that installed. It also could be clouds and sheep but then again i could be wrong. Looks defo like a Gameloft game or a glue game.
Thanks, I dont have either of those installed, but will look for something close to those.
The most recent app that i installed was the purchased version of Tapatalk, but I doubt that it would be the culprit.

Install 'Airpush Detector' from Google Play & run it.

You shall look for air-push opt-out app, it does it PERMANENTLY, so you'd be protected in the future as well
In case you didn't already know, I think you guys might be interested in some of these. Looks like the Play store is offering some "surprises" for the holidays.

Yeah I'd had a few shots and tried to read that. I was confused at first until I took into account the acronyms and typos...
I can't figure out how to screenshot, but when I watch YouTube or Netflix, the bottom half of the video is completely gray and the top is different slivers of the picture jumbled up and in grayscale. In not sure what is wrong or how to fix it. Anyone? I'm running slimkat, but this was also happening on aicp.
You can take screen shot by pressing the quick memo button.

I hope I did that right. This is YouTube, but Netflix does the exact same thing.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Bump still happening
I too have had this problem on various roms and have asked questions here on the forums. Nobody seemed to know much about the issue or was really able to help. I eventually just ended up trying enough roms that I found one that worked.
Google Netflix black. Its just an older version of Netflix but black instead or red. Anyways video seems to play with no problems. IDK about YouTube
