That's odd, seems like its not sticking, my Sprint variant did it a few times out the box, never did it again.

I have no idea what it could be...I have tried other launchers, same problem..
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Free mobile app
I fixed this problem by factory reset, after reset phone remember settings
Clear the cache for the lg launcher and open you other one nova , apex or whatever one you're using and set as default. Also go into system settings>display>home and at default there as well. Then reboot and it should work. Optionally you could go into recovery and clear the cache and reboot.

Try using a better connection. I get this when I got bad internet connection. If didn't work try clearing cache and try again.
What browser is that

I have 2GBs of apps installed and a total of 6 gbs free on my phone and cannot install any more apps. I get an "insufficient storage available" warning when I try to. I though we were theoretically able to use all 11 GBS available for app storage?
I am running freegs3 2.0 if that were to matter but saw nothing of this mentioned in the rom thread or anyone having this issue in the forums?
Any help would be appreciated
Go into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache and see if that fixes it.

I haven't used this app , but it says you can lock any app and the uninstaller...so it might be worth a look..

I tried with OSP apk from G2 but it connects for a second only and then drops the connection.
I've taken the steps to remove it but it's still there and it's always scanning all my apps and notifying me that they're all safe like I care.

It looks like you have to be rooted to get rid of Lookout. You can't even disable it in Settings / Apps / Show System. I always use Root Explorer. I am still stock and T-Mobile offers the Premium Lookout for free but you SHOULD be able to dial back how often it is scanning besides when you install an app.
I'm on stock T-Mobile and I have disabled it.

Uncheck it in 'device administrators' and you can then disable it.
