[Q] SkyRaider 3.3 Sense

i am curious and am asking if there are any themes or additions to this ROM because i am getting bored of the lock screen and theme so if anyone could direct me to where i could find some mods to this ROM please let me know thanks because im really satisfied with the way it performs just looking for customization

Did you change the lockscreen to the rotary, or install Uncommon Sense for SR? What about MM themes? You can also tweak the splash and loading animation screens.
I bet you wouldn't even recognize my SkyRaider Rom'd phone
Keep digging, it's all in here! (Most of it is available through Rom Manager too)

I put together one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=830046 but need to have the ucommon skyraider addon pack installed.

How do I install the lock screen that's an add on for skyrider sence 3 is there more then one in the pack? Noob question I know but its easier to just ask usually......

Terminal emulator. Type su, then type either tabunlock r rotaryunlock for which one u want. Pick a number hit enter and let it reboot. Its n the second post in the op of skyraider rom in android development.

[Q] Making ROM Questions

I have been trying to copy some of the features of the original HTC Froyo rom to a new Gingerbread rom (DevNull) using Android Kitchen running in a Cwgwin box. While I can swap some apk's in and out, other apk's like contacts and dialler will only work in their correct version. Is there a way around this ? or is it a fundamental impasse? Any pointers to where I can read up on this stuff gratefully received.

No, they use totally different frameworks. If it was easy let attitude even possible at all, don't you think some of the "real" devs would have done it already?

I just wanted to know if there was a website that would help noobs like me get started on developing, or to download the right tools so that I can atleast try to learn something. Thanks in advance : )

A great place to start is the uot kitchen. Try some theming there, status bar mods are really fun and easy. Same with changing the battery display.

[Request] Sense 3 animated lockscreen

Hi, im here today to beg all of you talented people here on XDA,
i have been desperate for the weather lockscreen from sense 3.0 and i looked around. I found a few threads all with downloads, that have been taken down
i have a basic knowlage with this( i can install a rom) however it would be greatly appreciated for some noob step by step instructions just to help me
so once again i would like the sense 3.0 weather lockscreen(animated)
if you can fit it in the facebook lockscreen and some widgets(weather ect) would be nice
thanks in advance, a desperate Wildfire s owner

Our little phone just can't handle that animations, that's why we don't have Sense 3.0

Don't know what u are looking for exactly but download milocker and browse xda themes and app section and there is one sense lock screen with animations.

sorry! our arm6 phones just cant handle that much of annimation. hopefully dev out there will find some good news once sense 4 rom comes out!

Hey all. Just wondering which is the most customiseable [if thats a word] rom. I have a one x and am using a venom rom and love the fact that its easy to customise everything. Which rom or roms are like that for the desire? Thank you kindly one and all.

I can change how my phone looks. Like all the icons, themes and loads of other superficial things. I guess you can do that with all roms but with the venom Rom its all grouped together in one place, so you can tweak it all easily.

You can not-so-easily customise a rom by changing framework things, or by changing the launcher.
Many roms have the option to install custom icon sets, like mildwild roms.
It's just a matter of trying roms and finding the one you like.

Mildwire was the next one I was gonna try funnily enough, tis downloaded and ready 2 flash. Thank you kindly.

I used Mildwild for months, working good and roms based on cyanogenmod seem quite "customizable"
