From my experience, I would say that it's impossible since Sense UI does not let you configuration the grid size like LanucherPro or ADWLauncher

4 icon launcher.

For anyone who has used MIUI you will know what I am asking for, looking for a launcher that displays only 4 icons on the dock.
Most use 3 or 5 icons. I know touchwiz can use 4 but no proper touchwiz launcher for defy screen size.
Ephumuris.
You could use LauncherPro and create a fake dock and then a transparent icon on top. It's not the best way, but it is a temporary solution.

[Q] Change Screen Resolution and Resize Widgets?

Back when I had my now saltwater destroyed Droid X rooted, I had an app that allowed me to change my screen resolution so I could essentially fit more icons on my screen. I also had an app (maybe LauncherPro or ADW?) that allowed me to resize any widget on my screen. Can someone help me find them agian?
It was probably one of the alternative launchers. I only briefly used adw so I'm not positive but I know for sure that LP and goLauncher allow you to resize the screen and change widget sizes.

Click to collapse
Root Tools will change the density if you want. If you just want more rows/columns, that is built into most of the launchers now.....

Change Lock screen wallpaper?

Hey guys is there a way I can have a different wallpaper for the lockscreen than that of the homescreen? I know there was an option for this on the GSII under settings/ display, but I can't seem to find a solution for the GNex. Thanks in advance

That feature is not available on stock Android.

Only thing I can think of is WidgetLocker
an app called multi-picture live wallpaper can do this for you:
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
it allows you to have a different wallpaper for various home screens and also lets you choose one for the lockscreen. I personally use the same wallpaper for each homescreen, so this app is just giving me a custom lock wallpaper.
Might be preferable over widgetlocker if you don't want to add any widgets to your lockscreen and prefer a stock feel.

Grid size for multiple home screens?

Hi. I am currently using nova launcher with aokp 25.
My question is are there any apps/launchers that allow changing grid size for multiple screens?
For example I want one screen to have a grid side of 5x5 and another of 5x4.
Any ideas?

Nova launcher clipping text in app drawer

OK so no matter what I try with Nova launcher, the g's and y's and j's etc. have the bottom clipped off in the icon names in the app drawer. Even when the grid size is set to minimum. Selecting smaller icons prevents this, but then all my icons are too small everywhere.
Anyone know how to fix this most basic and obvious of problems?
Reinstall app? Change app dpi?
